Today marks day 4 of my broadcasting break… to be precise, day 4 of broadcast suspension.

Of course, thanks to the fantastic feature called Neiter Space, I could continue to communicate with the Rebungi, but today I’ve decided not to use that space.

Honestly, when I shared this decision in Remagal, I expected everyone to get angry or feel pity and set Remagal on fire.

After all, when the Rebungi can’t hear from me, they tend to get anxious and turn a bit feral, plus I had given them permission to set Remagal ablaze on my day off.

But instead, they all calmly commented telling me to rest as if it’s natural, which made me feel a little empty.

Sure, there were remarks questioning if taking a day off really changes anything… but, um, honestly, it’s hard to argue against that, so I just attached a VTuber Rene CryingCon emoji.

After all, I had already heard that I should take a good rest…

If I had stopped after saying that, I would’ve thought, “How very Rebungi-like.”

You guys weren’t like this…

Well, there is a certain enjoyment in seeing Remagal burn to some extent, so maybe that’s why I’m feeling this way.

Anyway, today also became a day off from Neiter Space.

And there’s, of course, a reason I made this decision.

It’s definitely not just because I wanted to take a break.

The reason I decided to take a day off from Neiter Space… sounds a bit weird, but it’s because of this feature called Neiter Space.

Neiter Space.

It’s the name of a feature akin to voice chatting on MissCode, supported through Neiter’s site or app.

Of course, there are some differences from MissCode.

In Neiter Space, unlike MissCode, where anyone entering can speak, only the ‘host’ who created the room can use the microphone, and the ‘presenters’ who have been granted speaking rights by the host can use it as well.

In other words, simply participating in the space doesn’t mean you can express your opinions.

For this reason, VTubers often use it for communication and say they want to hear fans’ opinions while running the space, utilizing Neiter’s tagging system.

Well, in my case, I solved the issue by making a new space tab in Remagal.

Anyway, this Neiter Space is a feature frequently used by VTubers… but I have never once activated it as VTuber Rene.

I don’t know why.

In the first place, I’ve hardly used that Neiter account for anything other than announcing broadcast times.

While I hear other VTubers communicate about various things through Neiter, when I checked, I was surprised to find that many VTubers simply communicated in fan cafes.

Upon further investigation, most of those were VTubers from the homeland… Japan or something.

But me, as VTuber Rene, don’t even have a fan community.

Since I established that VTuber Rene is a junior to streamer Rene, it feels like Remagal became the fan community for VTuber Rene.

To sum it up, VTuber Rene isn’t communicating with fans—those devotees—on Neiter, nor does she have a separate fan community.

However, ironically, the Neiter Space that VTubers frequently use is being used by streamer Rene.

Realizing this situation, I felt immensely sorry for the devotees.

They think they’re joining VTuber Rene’s space, but if they hear about the senior streamer Rene’s space, how heartbreaking would that be?

Anyway, so I thought I’d need a bit of time to resolve such issues, which means streamer Rene is taking a day off today.

Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m going to turn on the space as VTuber Rene today.

“Hmm…”

But honestly, even now, I’m not exactly sure what I should do.

The original reason I started becoming a VTuber was for money.

When I first started streaming as a streamer, I learned that VTubers were trending in the online broadcasting industry, which sparked my interest.

So, I ended up gaining knowledge about what being a VTuber is, but reflecting on it now, it feels like I have no idea how to utilize that knowledge now.

Just recently, through watching Eri’s streams, I’ve pondered, “Is this what’s good about being a VTuber?”, but compared to Eri, who genuinely loves being a VTuber, I’m pretty far removed from that level.

No.

It’s almost disrespectful to compare.

Anyway, I decided to do something for the devotees and came up with two ideas overall.

The first is to activate Neiter.

To be precise, creating a communication channel as VTuber Rene, not just in Remagal.

Should I make another gallery?

Or should I use the Rene fan cafe I made long ago?

I considered those, but I thought that ultimately, there might still be more devotees using Remagal as it is, so I gave up on that.

So, I decided to make a genuine VTuber feel and use Neiter as a communication channel like Eri.

Honestly, I do have reservations, thinking, “Aren’t there too many weird people on Neiter…?” but still, it’s a challenge I need to try and consider.

Can’t have preconceived notions after all.

The second idea is to try activating Neiter Space as VTuber Rene.

This is something I can do immediately for the devotees, and I’m really excited about it…

But if I turn on the space normally, just like I did as streamer Rene, the conversation would probably be just chatting, and that would mean I won’t be able to turn on the space during the remaining period as streamer Rene.

Yeah.

I’m a shut-in hikikomori, so I have very few topics to chat about…

Anyway, today’s aim is to find something new I can do when I activate the space as VTuber Rene tomorrow.

Anyhow, what can I really show in a space that can’t provide anything more than idle chatter…? Still, I should at least attempt to figure it out.

Giving up before starting won’t leave me with anything.

Just as I was listening to Eri explain that abyss, Bora came to visit when the time came.

“Rene Onee-chan, why aren’t you streaming lately?”

Bora suddenly asked that as she stepped into the room.

“I’m streaming consistently… It’s my job…”

“Huh? When I searched your name on that site you told me about last night, it showed that you haven’t streamed anything recently!”

Saying that, Bora naturally leaned into my arms and handed me her phone.

The screen of her phone showed my channel on Ryming, clearly indicating I hadn’t streamed for the last four days.

“Look at this! You haven’t streamed since four days ago, Onee-chan!”

“Well, it’s not that… it’s not that I don’t want to stream, it’s that I can’t… My account got suspended for a week…”
