Chapter 61: Making a Decision

Chapter 61: Making a Decision

“Not yet! My Magic Power hasn’t fully recovered, and we don’t know when those Adrian People will attack. Under these circumstances, I can’t carelessly use my Magic Power. So, I have to leave it to you, Teacher Aisi.”

Aierjisi smiled sweetly at Aisi, trying to hide her embarrassment. Earth-type magic was her worst subject. Just making a clay doll required considerable effort, let alone the risk of it losing control. Who knows, she might finish making a clay doll only for it to self-destruct right after!

“Is that really true?”

Teacher Aisi still seemed a bit skeptical of the Little Princess’s words. After all, fixing such a big hole with earth magic shouldn’t take much power at all.

“It really is! Teacher Aisi, please hurry up and get to work.”

Aierjisi turned her face away, unable to maintain eye contact with Aisi.

“Here. This is my treasured Potion. If you’re worried about overusing your Magic Power, drink this potion first.”

Aisi nonchalantly pulled out a bottle of blue potion from his fourth-dimensional underwear and placed it in Aierjisi’s hand.

Oh no, this is bad.

Looking at the blue potion in her palm, Aierjisi wanted to smack herself. If she had just told the truth earlier, why did she have to lie? Now she had backed herself into a corner where she had to take action.

“What’s the hold-up? Drink it! Is one bottle not enough? I’ve got plenty more!”

Teacher Aisi continued to pull out several bottles of blue potion from his fourth-dimensional underwear.

“Teacher Aisi, I’m done for… I just can’t handle this project, so you take over.”

Seeing the bottles of blue potion in Aisi’s hands, Aierjisi’s defenses crumbled. She conceded, confessing her inability with earth magic.

“Why didn’t you say so earlier? Why did you have to lie to me?”

Since Aierjisi had been honest with him, Aisi decided not to push her anymore. He muttered a few incantations toward the big hole and pulled some earth from the ground to fill it in.

“Oh! As expected of Teacher Aisi. You’re ridiculously strong!”

Aierjisi exclaimed in awe. Her own magical skills were still far from enough.

“If you had taken your classes seriously, you’d be able to do this level of magic too.”

“Well… because your classes were so boring! Plus, earth magic is just too hard for me to grasp.”

Faced with Aisi’s scolding, Aierjisi scrambled for excuses.

“Then why didn’t you practice more back then? If you kept practicing, you’d deepen your understanding of earth magic.”

“Alright, alright! Teacher Aisi, once we get past this situation, I promise I’ll study hard. For now, let’s discuss the big issues!”

Aierjisi didn’t want to hear any more of Aisi’s nagging. Time was short, and who knows when those pyramid schemers would come to snatch her away.

“Fair enough. So, Princess, do you have any thoughts on future strategies?”

Aisi, Yake, and Aierjisi gathered around the coffee table to discuss their plan of action.

“Hmm. Yake, do you have anything to contribute?”

Before sharing her thoughts, Aierjisi turned to the Yake seated on her left.

“Ah? I don’t have much to say. I don’t really know enough about this to offer my opinion.”

Yake shook his head, opting to stay silent.

“Okay then, let me share my thoughts. I’m planning to find the other five players and see if I can persuade them to team up with me.”

Considering that the other five players might also be targeted by those pyramid schemers, Aierjisi decided to take the initiative to recruit others. At least six teaming up would beat going solo!

“I completely agree. Princess, your current strength isn’t enough to confront them; you need to form alliances to have a fighting chance.”

Aisi nodded in agreement, voicing his opinion.

“Then it’s settled. I’m okay with it since I’m Aier’s servant, I’ll follow her lead.”

Yake also showed his support for Aierjisi.

“That makes it three votes in favor. But, um cough cough. Teacher Aisi, I have a favor to ask.”

“What is it? Speak up. If it’s within my ability, I’ll handle it.”

“Teacher Aisi, tomorrow Yake and I will set out to find the other five players. Until we return, I hope you can protect Yake’s family.”

Aierjisi pointed upstairs, where Xier and Reina were both currently.

“That… seems a bit reckless. Princess, both you and your servant lack combat strength. It’s too risky to set out like this.”

Aisi clearly wasn’t willing. He was the strongest of the three, yet Aierjisi wanted to leave him behind to guard the house, which he couldn’t accept.

“I know, but that’s exactly why I need your help to protect Yake’s family. Given the way those Adrian people operate, they might resort to kidnapping to threaten us into compliance. So I need a very strong fighter to keep them safe. Do you understand, Teacher Aisi?”

Aierjisi explained her reasoning to Aisi with a serious undertone.

“But… if that’s the case, what if you two run into danger on the way with no one to rescue you?”

Aisi voiced his concerns, still more worried about the Princess’s safety.

“Don’t worry. With my strength, dealing with those typical foes is no trouble. If I encounter the Adrian people, I won’t fight but will retreat immediately. Besides, this is a Trial—one to overcome my past self. Only by defeating that immature past can I grow.”

Aierjisi smiled. With her strength, handling things in this land was a cakewalk.

“Since this is your decision, I have no objections. However, at least let me cook a delicious meal for you before you leave.”

“Oh, Aisi’s cooking? I’m really looking forward to it! It’s been ages since I had it.”

At the thought of Aisi preparing a meal for her, Aierjisi perked up. If you were to ask what food the Blood Clan loves most, Aisi’s delectable dishes would undoubtedly top the list!
