Watching the host up on stage ramble on endlessly, Aierjisi nearly fell asleep in the audience. If it wouldn’t cause a panic, she would totally hurl the popcorn bucket right at his face.

As the host announced, the entrances to the Gladiatorial Arena opened, and Yake and that bro walked out from their respective sides.

Yake placed his hand on the sword at his waist, ready to draw it.

But just when Fighter 5 thought Yake would come charging in with that sword, Yake did something that shocked everyone in the arena.

He tossed his sword aside to the ground behind him and instead started rubbing his fists together.

“Oh! What’s this?! Fighter 16 has thrown away his weapon! Facing Fighter 5, who has a weapon, Fighter 16 chooses to fight bare-handed! What is going on here?!”

The host voiced the question all the spectators besides Aierjisi were thinking.

“Are you looking down on me, you punk?! You think you can win without a weapon?!”

Seeing Yake toss his weapon, Fighter 5 got furious, as if indicating that he didn’t need a weapon to take Yake down.

Yake didn’t reply; he just assumed the stance of the fighting techniques Aierjisi had taught him.

In a battle, the first one to strike often ends up losing half the fight, as they’d lose their composure, just like Fighter 5 right now.

Seeing Yake underestimate him, Fighter 5 couldn’t stand such humiliation and immediately pulled out his other giant sword, charging at Yake while wildly swinging it.

Hearing Fighter 5’s surrender, Yake halted just a tiny distance above the ground, letting his feet touch down first. Unfortunately, his shoes met the ground in a climactic explosion, falling apart completely.
