Jiang Shuqin also hurried over.
“Mom.” Lin Qingwan spoke up.
“Li’er.”
Jiang Shuqin, heartbroken, approached Lin Li. Seeing his injuries tore her apart.

Jiang Shuqin turned to Lin Qingwan.
Lin Qingwan pursed her lips before answering, “Xiao Xuan.”
“It’s actually Brother Lin Xuan?” Jiang Shuqin’s face was full of anger. “He wasn’t satisfied with ruining Starlight Group and killing my son? Now he dares to hurt Li’er like this!”
“This ungrateful son! I will never forgive him!”
Lin Qingwan dared not speak. She had foreseen her mother’s reaction long ago.
It seemed the rift between Xiao Xuan and the Lin family was growing deeper.
Could it be that Xiao Xuan would never return to the Lin family?
“By the way, Wan’er, Li’er, are you here at the police station because Lin Xuan got arrested?” Jiang Shuqin asked again.
“Yeah,” Lin Qingwan nodded.

If Lin Xuan could spend some time in prison, it would serve as justice for Li’er.
Better yet, sentence him to ten or eight years.

Lin Chang said, “Let’s go inside first, all of us.”
Lin Chang led the way inside.
Lin Qingwan noticed the awkward tension between Lin Chang and Jiang Shuqin and couldn’t help but quietly ask, “Mom, what’s going on between you and Dad?”

Lin Qingwan widened her eyes.
How could Dad cheat again?
Lin Li comforted, “Mom, it’s okay, you still have us.”
“Yes, yes, thank goodness Mom has all of you children.” Jiang Shuqin smiled with relief.
Inside Lin Li’s mind, there was a cold laugh. These people locked his biological mother in prison; one day, he would take control of Starlight Group, kick them all out of the company, and avenge his mom.
“Alright, let’s see that ungrateful Lin Xuan now,” Jiang Shuqin said.
Lin Xuan had always acted arrogantly in front of her. Now that Lin Xuan was arrested, how could she not come to witness his downfall?
At the police station.
Lin Chang had already arrived at the reception desk.
“Hello, officer, I’ve come to visit someone in custody,” Lin Chang said.
“Who are you visiting?” the officer asked.
“A man named Lin Xuan. He was just brought in yesterday. Could you bring him out? We have something we want to say to him.”
