Chapter 95 Chapter 83 Three Sides?
“If you don’t make a move, I’ll come at you then?”
Lin Qi smiled and took a step forward. Ten meters away from him, Ryomen Sukuna immediately became alert.
Lin Qi withdrew his step, and the former’s forehead instantly bulged with visible veins.
“Are you toying with me?” Sukuna’s face was a bit distorted.
“Just thought of an interesting play.” Lin Qi smiled, “Look at you, getting anxious again.”
He had just exchanged for the Ten Shadows Technique, but hadn’t managed to tame the remaining Familiars yet. He only had the initial two jade hound familiars, so he decided to seize this moment to tame them all at once.
The method was simple; he just needed to defeat the summoned Familiars.
“Nue!”
“Great Serpent!”
“Toad…”
Ryomen Sukuna watched from ten meters away as Lin Qi summoned Familiars one by one and defeated them one by one, completely disregarding himself.
Though being underestimated so much made him furious, this way, the child’s technique was exposed: “Shadow Familiars… This same technique as Fushiguro Megumi.”
He crouched down, using his legs for power, flying over the ground like a swift swallow, rushing to Lin Qi in an instant.
“Hold on, why are you rushing over here?” Blocking Sukuna’s sneak attack, Lin Qi instantly furrowed his brow, “Do you not know that intruding on a taming ceremony will fail? You’re at the final step!”
“How could I let you grow stronger by yourself!” Ryomen Sukuna snarled, throwing a punch blocked by Lin Qi who used Aikido to throw him back harshly, creating cracks in the ground.
“Then you get to play with it alone.”
Lin Qi’s displeasure vanished, replaced by a playful smile. He summoned a giant owl-like Familiar named Nue, taking himself out of the battlefield.
“Huh?” Ryomen Sukuna stood up, turning his head backward.
The summoned Familiars had broken free from their chains; the white bandages wrapping around them like mummies dropped off, revealing their muscular bodies.
Completely white, built like Greek sculptures, their forearms were wrapped in bandages, copper rings adorned their hands and feet, and an iron chain pendant hung below their collarbones. Only their mouth was exposed, with angelic wings replacing their eyes, a thick snake tail behind their heads, and a mysterious rotating array hovering above.
“Eight-Meter Sword, Alien戒God General · Mahōra.” Lin Qi sat cross-legged on Nue, observing the situation beneath.
Bang!
Mahōra’s massive fist sent Ryomen Sukuna flying, slamming him hard against a wall, leaving a deep crater.
“That Familiar seems different from the others?” Sukuna muttered, pulling himself out of the crater, watching Mahōra kneeled and then leap towards Lin Qi.
“Why is it coming after me?”
The white figure quickly grew larger in his vision. Lin Qi calmly leaped off the owl, racing towards Mahōra like an arrow.
A girl suddenly appeared, launching a punch that sent Mahōra flying mid-air. The speed of her approach was matched by her return speed, even adjusting herself to direct Mahōra towards Ryomen Sukuna.
“Tsk, that hateful brat!”
Pursing his lips, Sukuna didn’t avoid the approaching Mahōra, instead, he punched hard, dissipating the immense kinetic energy the Familiar carried. Multiple slashes released beside Mahōra, splattering blood and sending him soaring into the air once more.
Lin Qi already descended like a meteor, colliding with Mahōra before pushing him toward Ryomen Sukuna.
This time, Sukuna chose to dodge instead of endure Mahōra’s onslaught from above.
Not only Lin Qi, but Nue swooped down towards Ryomen Sukuna, its wings creating a destructive purple lightning enveloping him, a faint burnt smell spreading.
The current surged through Sukuna’s body, paralyzing him momentarily, but the counteracting ritual swiftly healed his injuries, vanishing the numbness almost instantly. Without hesitation, he swung a blow towards the owl Familiar.
But before the strike reached Nue, Lin Qi released the magic; Nue transformed into shadows, disappearing, leaving the strike to continue upward, cracking the ceiling dramatically.
“Distracted? Remember your enemy.” Lin Qi’s figure suddenly crossed Sukuna, his ponytail brushing across his face, long legs creating a piercing wind sound that whipped him in the back, kicking him away.
“Haha!” Mahōra charged directly at Lin Qi like a wrecking ball, smashing the oncoming figure aside, laughing at its twisted face.
He stretched out his hand, catching Mahōra’s huge fist far bigger than a pot. The two engaged each other, fists and palm clashing, creating small swirling air currents.
“Hmm?” Sensing danger, Lin Qi reached out with lightning speed, grabbing the white Familiar’s two-thick waist, pulling it close to block the incoming strikes.
Blood spurted from Mahōra’s chest where the slash marks were etched, but its injuries healed instantly. The array on its head lit up in a pale glow before gently revolving.
Crack!
“Ah?” Healing itself, Mahōra grabbed Lin Qi’s slender arm, easily tossing him away akin to clutching a chopstick.
Lin Qi was sent soaring, while Mahōro had leaped high, its enormous body blocking his path, clenching its hands to hammer him again.
Just enough time to raise his arms to block.
A sudden gust whistled past. Lin Qi’s figure plunged downward rapidly when a thick, smooth tongue entwined around his waist mid-air. An enormous toad-like Familiar appeared seemingly from nowhere, catching its master, spinning him at increased speed before flinging him back into the air and becoming shadows that vanished.
Flying straight at Ryomen Sukuna, Lin Qi slammed him straight into the wall, seizing his head and yanking him out, hurling him towards the attacking Mahōra.
Sukuna met the charging white Familiar head-on, both flying back. The latter’s reaction speed was clearly quicker, immediately pushing back Mahōra with the force of his chest.
Odd sensation…
It seemed like something abnormal had caught his attention, forcing his brows to furrow.
Crack!
The injured Mahōra was fully repaired, its head-mounted array spinning once more.
