Seere briefly kissed Nahen on the lips and then pulled away, taking a deep breath. It wasn’t a long kiss, but her breathing quickened due to excitement.

Seere giggled and met Nahen’s eyes.
“Teacher, you’re lying right now.”

Seere, embarrassed by what she said, quickly fled out the door. Nahen watched her retreating back for a moment before glaring at the beasts.
The beasts, fearing stray sparks, disappeared quickly into the black mist. Nahen sighed heavily after watching them disappear.
