Chapter 401

Chapter 401: Why Can’t the Tip of the Tail Be a Horn?

The Flame King Dragon executed a Side Step Small Jump with surprising agility, dodging the Ice Curse Dragon’s Breath Weapon aimed directly at its face.

With the first attack missed, she inhaled deeply, reclaiming the cold air around her face before unleashing an even faster second Breath Weapon.

Jié Jié had anticipated this and held back his strength, shifting his limbs once more to evade the Breath Weapon while charging forward.

Dodging left and right, he swiftly closed the distance between himself and the Ice Curse Dragon.

Facing the oncoming Flame King Dragon, the Ice Curse Dragon showed no intention of retreating, instead exhaling a long breath of cold air towards the ground.

A dense frost spread across the ground, forming icy spikes that could instantly freeze anything they touched upon contact. This was the Ice Queen’s freezing trap set as bait.

Jié Jié was familiar with this move. He leaped high into the air, ready to soar over the trap-covered ground.

Seeing him rise, the Ice Curse Dragon hurriedly extended the ice spikes, which transformed into a thick City Wall of ice, blocking his Flying Pounce path.

Is he a Master Swordsman?

Jié Jié quickly adjusted his thoughts, sharply tilting his body in mid-air. With a Large Spin, he whipped his tail towards the ice wall.

The Whip-like Tail didn’t seem capable of shattering the ice wall, but it began to rapidly expand.

Thicker, longer, harder! And sharper!

Like a massive fortress wall, the Sword Tail swept horizontally through the air, aiming to crush the ice wall and obliterate the trap with its powerful spinning force.

Simultaneously creating the ice wall, the Ice Curse Dragon gracefully retreated backward.

Even though the ice wall obscured her Line of Sight, preventing her from seeing Jie Jie’s Transformation, she could predict where the Flame King Dragon would land after breaking through the wall.

She believed the opponent’s focus would be solely on attacking, unable to determine her position behind the ice wall. Thus, the attack would inevitably miss, leaving the Flame King Dragon vulnerable to fall into her trap!

Large amounts of cold air condensed into icicles, hanging from the Ice Curse Dragon’s body.

When the ice wall shattered as expected, and the Flame King Dragon missed, it would be her moment to counterattack!

The ice wall cracked as anticipated, but what emerged wasn’t the face of the Flame King Dragon—it was a massive, sword-like tail.

By the time the Ice Curse Dragon reached her peak readiness, she hadn’t yet identified the “Flame King Dragon” before her. Instinctively, she violently twisted her body.

Her Breath Weapon swept across the ground, layers of ice crystals and cold currents instantly forming several vertical ice walls in a fan shape, covering all possible landing spots for the Flame King Dragon.

But before the newly formed ice walls could explode naturally, dealing severe damage to the Flame King Dragon, the scorching Sword Tail arrived, destroying the six ice walls with overwhelming force. Leveraging its superior attack range, it sent the Ice Curse Dragon flying away.

Meanwhile, Jie Jie, still reeling from the impact of the powerful ice explosions and struggling to stand upright after sheathing his sword, fell to the ground. Instantly covered in ice shards, he stiffened, his stamina rapidly depleting in the bone-chilling cold.

“Not bad, Six-Pulse Divine Sword…”

Shivering, he climbed back up, only feeling better when a wave of hot wind melted the ice on his body from behind.

Looking at the staggering Ice Curse Dragon rising again, Jie Jie realized he might have thrown her too far.

But no matter!

Bounding forward, the Slaying Dragon rapidly shrank in size but maintained incredible speed, quickly surpassing the rate of heat radiation diffusion to reach the Ice Curse Dragon!

Standing up, the Ice Curse Dragon watched in shock and anger as the Slaying Dragon transformed before her eyes, momentarily frozen in place.

Jie Jie had no intention of transforming back into the Flame King Dragon to reveal the answer to the Ice Curse Dragon. The Golden Lion lunged forward, grabbing the Ice Curse Dragon by the arm and flipping her onto the ground.

The instant he felt the chill from the Ice Curse Dragon’s surface, his arms turned red and steamed, entering a state of Qi hardening.

He could feel the cold; the fur of the Golden Lion offered no resistance to the cold, but the constitution of the Golden Lion allowed him to remain unfazed by the freezing temperatures.

Seemingly influenced by the instincts of the Golden Lion, Jie Jie used his free left hand to grab the crown horn on the Ice Curse Dragon’s head.

“Crack, crack, crack!”

The Ice Curse Dragon’s crown horn, formed from condensed cooling water and not part of her Shell, broke off easily under his grip, leaving just a pointed tip in his hand.

Loosening his clenched fist slightly, the icy crown stuck to his hand. With a slap toward his mouth, he “crack, crack” bit it into pieces.

Would eating the Ice Curse Dragon’s horn turn the Golden Lion into a Snow Lion?

“Hoo hoo hoo hoo!!!”

Of course not, but a surge of accomplishment made Jie Jie’s emotions soar. His black fur bristled, glowing with brilliant golden lightning, and his arms rippled with thunderous patterns.

With a punch infused with lightning, he struck the Ice Curse Dragon’s forehead, causing her to emit a piercing scream of pain.

Perhaps infected by the brutal nature of the Golden Lion’s excitement, Jie Jie found her cries of agony pleasing, even comparable to Nana’s moans during pleasure.

But before Jie Jie could mimic the moves of Geese Howard and deliver more punches, the Ice Curse Dragon erupted with an icy Breath Weapon in her agony.

The impact sent the smaller Golden Lion flying back, while the Ice Curse Dragon took the opportunity to rise quickly, raising her tail and diving down like a bee, thrusting her Spear Tail toward the Golden Lion’s face.

Staring intently at the incoming Spear Tail, Jie Jie felt time slow down.

Because he noticed—her Spear Tail was also pointy.

Pointy, definitely a horn!

Reaching out again, he accurately grabbed the tip of the Ice Curse Dragon’s tail, dragging her relentlessly in an attempt to break it off.

“Crack, crack.”

The tip of the Ice Curse Dragon’s Spear Tail, like her crown horn, was formed from condensed cooling water. A firm squeeze and pull caused it to shatter.

Disappointed, Jie Jie redirected his attention back to the battle. With both arms gripping the Ice Curse Dragon’s tail, he dragged her around, attempting to swing her like a club.

Sensing danger, the Ice Curse Dragon abandoned any thoughts of close combat, continuously spewing Cold Stream Breath until Jie Jie froze, allowing her to escape her tail.

She flew higher, her gaze filled with fear.

“Come on again!”

Jie Jie slapped his body, tearing off chunks of ice, growling as he challenged the airborne Ice Curse Dragon.

But the Ice Curse Dragon dared not engage in close combat anymore, generating multiple Breath Weapons into explosive ice blasts, driving Jie Jie to run around from the sky.

“Only you can fly?”

Jie Jie transformed into the Silver Fire Dragon and soared into the sky. Pale Raigeki flames burned away the cold air as he flew toward the Ice Curse Dragon.

From her elevated position, the Ice Curse Dragon witnessed Jie Jie’s transformation in full view, stunned to a halt mid-air.

As a relatively older individual, this Ice Curse Dragon possessed considerable intelligence. Witnessing Jie Jie’s transformation shook her worldview more profoundly than it would for an ordinary monster.

By the time she snapped out of it, the fireball had exploded into blinding flames. The high temperature and impact inflicted significant damage on her, shattering her crystalline ice armor once again.

After the fiery explosion, the Silver Fire Dragon descended in a Dive, claws raised to scratch at her.
