Realizing the situation was dire, Ice Curse Dragon howled and flew into the sky, condensing cold air into ice blocks that rained down upon the dancing pair of dragons.
The ice blocks melted and evaporated, falling onto the two dragons as mere specks of ice chips, causing no harm at all.

With a low growl, an air mass was unleashed from Jié Jié’s mouth, swirling with sparks transforming into a fiercely burning Flame Storm, completely isolating Ice Curse Dragon’s influence.

Turning his head, Nana too was astonished by the bond they shared.

In the silence following the firelight, a hesitant and bewildered cry caught the attention of both dragons—it was the Ice Curse Dragon who had just struggled to rise.
At this point, the Ice Curse Dragon no longer possessed the majesty she had at the start. The armor forged from ice had vanished, her shattered Glazed Armor lost its luster, now covered in a layer of scorched brown.
Regaining her senses, Ice Curse Dragon dodged the Hell Flares on the road, quickly retreating back into her eternal winter to recover her strength.
The ice fog that obscured visibility disappeared in the explosion, leaving only the blazing Sunfire obscuring their vision.
From afar, it wasn’t entirely clear, but Jié Jié could distinctly feel the anger in her gaze.
“Do you want to fight again?”
Jié Jié took a step forward, his wings shielding Nana behind him.
It was hard to reverse the outward burst of Sunfire, and indeed, they were theoretically in a period of weakness.
As he advanced step by step, Jié Jié was surprised that Ice Curse Dragon’s condition wasn’t as bad as he had imagined.
She sprayed water soon after.
Apparently, cooling water inside her shell’s pores spewed out, washing away the scorch marks. Her ice armor reappeared, revitalized.
Having recovered, Ice Curse Dragon didn’t approach for battle but stayed at the perimeter, bringing cold air into the firefield, trying to extinguish the spreading heat and restore the inner circle to eternal winter.

Behind him, Nana let out a soft roar, mixed with a bit of whimpering.
Jié Jié turned around and understood she didn’t want to continue fighting.
“It’s alright, it’s warm here. Stay here. I’ll go deal with her alone and take revenge for you.”
His tail gently swept across the Flame Empress Dragon’s mane, stopping her from following.
Leading the searing tide behind him, he walked leisurely towards the Ice Curse Dragon opposite.
Under the complete armor of the Icy Queen, traces of scorched black could still be seen on the broken Glazed Inner Armor, as killing winds rushed towards the approaching Flame King Dragon.
