Chapter 391: The Magma Mountain Dragon Skeleton of the Demon Gathering Land.
After confirming that the gold and silver fire dragons were self-sufficient adult dragons, Jié Jié began his investigation of the Demon Gathering Land.
Following the extension of the magma mountain network, he arrived at the other end of the lowest level of the Demon Gathering Land.
The magma mountain dragon’s posthumous rocky shell connected to the depths of the earth, flowing with an endless stream of blood. Beneath this shell, however, lay a different landscape in the muscular parts of the dragon.
Huge bones supported the rock layers above, becoming part of the dome, while a significant portion had been torn apart due to tectonic shifts and scattered in all directions.
Chen stood at the very front of the skeletal mass, where there was a massive skull.
The skull rested on a high ground, its lower jaw lost over the long years, but the beak-like structure of the upper jaw identified it as the skull of a magma mountain dragon.
It was truly magnificent, not inferior to a single snake king dragon in the Valley of Miasma.
The rock shell transformed into an outlet for the earth’s blood, creating a world of molten lava.
Its body merged with the mountain rocks to form caves, birthing dragon tombs filled with corpses, inviting countless creatures from the Demon Gathering Land to rest eternally.
Looking down from the edge, it resembled the acidic ocean of the Valley of Miasma.
Judging by the flow of water, it connected to the ocean, but the tectonic changes caused by the magma mountain dragon’s activities and the prolonged decomposition of its corpse forever altered the seawater here.
The Miasma Zone was eerily quiet.
“Ka~”
While strolling, Jié Jié realized he stepped on something. Looking down, he saw fragments of snow-white spores and miasma splashing out under pressure.
Could these spores have a symbiotic relationship with the Corpse Suit Dragon?
Jié Jié blinked, looked around, and his gaze fixed on the nearby pile of corpses.
The pile of corpses, covered with layers of snow-white spores, emitted miasma.
This seemed to be a mound built by the Corpse Suit Dragon to accelerate the decomposition of rotting flesh and generate miasma.
With numerous monsters returning their lives to the land, it seemed to have also affected the output of mineral veins, as several dark mineral veins were discovered nearby.
On these veins, one could still see traces of biting and grinding; if guessed correctly, sulfur slaying dragons must have been active.
After collecting some mineral veins, Jié Jié stared at the pile of corpses, lost in thought.
When his figure flickered and transformed into a naked Corpse Suit Dragon, the appeal of the pile of corpses changed slightly, as if it had become a luxurious bed covered in soft, fragrant white spores.
Without hesitation, he burrowed into the bed, adjusted his limbs slightly, and when he stood up again, his body was already covered in decaying flesh with white spores.
The Totem of the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon lit up simultaneously, making him wonder if these spores would be considered part of the transformation, since they were independent entities outside of himself.
But now—
Jié Jié’s body softened once more, sprawled out on the red bed, sealed by the white quilt monster.
This quality of sleep… almost rivals that of a Spiny Dragon…
Thinking about this, his eyelids flipped and closed.
…
When Jié Jié woke up, he felt much heavier, as if the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon had brought back a lot of corpses.
Wait? Misty Corpse Suit Dragon?!
His eyelids snapped open, and at the same moment his vision was obscured by the quilt and bedsheet, his energy perception swept around, sensing the figure lying on the pile of corpses.
Is the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon up there?
Corpse Suit Dragons’ nests are usually hidden deep in areas with dense miasma, but apparently, that doesn’t stop her from sitting on the couch outside.
Jié Jié instinctively wanted to get up, but his body only moved slightly before retreating.
He was currently under the bed, seemingly unnoticed?
His entire body was covered with spores and rotten flesh, and the dull Misty Corpse Suit Dragon hadn’t noticed him at all.
After pondering for a moment, Jié Jié relaxed his body and simply laid down to sleep again.
By the time he woke up, the Corpse Suit Dragon might have left, right?
Truly speaking, the weight of the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon was just right, making the quilt feel even heavier and more comfortable.
Perhaps it’s also because the miasma has become denser?
Half asleep and half awake, Jié Jié had a dream—
He saw the Master Swordsman wielding a great sword, an air blade thrust piercing a small animal passing by, leaping high, and delivering a spectacular ascending dragon slash onto his crouching head.
“It hurts so much, my head feels like it’s splitting…”
Jié Jié swayed his body, staggering as he rose from the pile of corpses, his body stiffening as he remembered that the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon was on the pile before he fell back asleep.
But soon his body relaxed, as he didn’t feel the weight of the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon when he got up.
However, when his energy perception swept around, Jié Jié’s body became as stiff as the corpses in the pile.
Because he discovered that the Corpse Suit Dragon had merely left the sofa but hadn’t left the current cave.
And she seemed to be entertaining guests?
That was a Slaying Dragon, shouldn’t the miasma zone have sulfur slaying dragons?
Shaking his head vigorously, he easily shook off the shattered spores on his head, which seemed to make his head hurt even more. As Jié Jié regained his vision, the first thing he saw was a long blade mark on the pile of corpses in front of him.
Staring at this blade mark, he felt as if his forehead was splitting.
Following the blade mark, he saw the sulfur slaying dragon shaking its tail.
Clearly, he had been awakened forcibly, and it was even an accidental awakening.
As the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon retreated step by step under the attacks of the sulfur slaying dragon master, obviously not adept at dealing with such close-combat fighters resistant to miasma.
Her head seemed to have been hit by the sulfur slaying dragon master’s head pearl, her spores destroyed, and her tiny eyes seeing a fellow species breaking through the ground from her sofa, filled with astonishment.
The vulnerability of the Corpse Suit Dragon was naturally captured by the sulfur slaying dragon master, who delivered a beautiful Great Air Blade Spin, causing her to stumble and fall.
Although she quickly got up, the sulfur slaying dragon took a large stride, suddenly twisted its body, and a powerful slash narrowly landed in front of her.
Accompanied by an angry roar, the miasma flowed out of the mouth of the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon, sweeping across the sulfur slaying dragon’s body, greatly increasing the miasma content in the air.
Meanwhile, the sulfur slaying dragon, after exerting itself in battle, was panting heavily, inhaling the harmful gases which were quickly filtered during the active state of combat, forming thick sulfur crystals at its tail.
The sulfur slaying dragon master lost its blade! The originally prepared two consecutive slashes were interrupted, forcing it to temporarily halt its attack, plowing its tail across the ground to crush the sulfur crystals.
Using the corpse-filled ground to sharpen its blade again—it was truly fitting for the style of a Katana Warrior.
Jié Jié watched from the sofa, but heard the long roar of the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon directed towards him.
Was this a request for support?
After pondering for a moment, he deeply inhaled.
Not through his mouth, but through the gills on his chest and abdomen.
A large amount of miasma from the sofa was inhaled through the gills, then transformed into a torrent in his mouth, spraying out and sweeping across the sulfur slaying dragon, hitting the Misty Corpse Suit Dragon, providing her with reinforcements.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
