Chapter 389: Gravity-Filled Golden Fire Dragon.
“ROOOAAARRR!!!”
The black sun and the silver sun faced each other, and the Silver Fire Dragon let out another excited roar.
“ROAR~”
The head of the Golden Fire Dragon lifted then drooped, as if calling for the Silver Fire Dragon to leave first.
Can’t you fight me properly before going off to do other things?
Were you damaged by a Black Horned Dragon in your reproductive tract? You have no desire to reproduce…
Could it be that I have absolutely no charm at all… waaaaah…
As a rare species, its intelligence was much higher than that of an ordinary Female Fire Dragon. At this point, the Golden Fire Dragon didn’t care if its child had a father or not—it just wanted children.
Unfortunately, no matter how strong the gravitational pull emanating from its body, the Golden Fire Dragon couldn’t bind the soul that defied gravity.
Could it be that the more they fought, the more excited it got? Should he defeat it in battle and then force himself on it?
Gazing at the silver-white bright sun that never dimmed, the Golden Fire Dragon suddenly unleashed its powerful gravitational force, narrowing its eyes and fixing a stern gaze upon the Silver Fire Dragon.
But not now—they needed to deal with that relentless freak first.
The Silver Fire Dragon had been injured earlier, and after this fight, it would likely be very weak—this was the perfect opportunity for his forced coupling plan!
The perceptive Silver Fire Dragon sensed the malice from the Golden Fire Dragon, slightly tilting its head but not giving it much thought, instead focusing on Jié Jié and preparing for battle.
Jié Jié also glanced at the Golden Fire Dragon, but scared by its gravity, quickly looked away, feeling some sympathy for the Silver Fire Dragon.
Thank goodness Nana wouldn’t ever give such a look.
And yet, his gaze felt like pity to the Silver Fire Dragon.
“ROAR!”
The battle-hardened Silver Fire Dragon roared once more, the silver sun and the black sun colliding again.
If their previous fight was about who could better dominate the open sky, now they were testing their abilities in close-quarters combat.
Wings clashed, sharp claws and agile legs kicked and stamped, heavy tails smashed scales off.
The height restriction imposed by the Magma Chamber Dome meant they couldn’t recover mid-fall like they could in high altitudes; if they fell, they’d have to switch to ground combat.
The two dragons tumbled through the air, the Silver Fire Dragon’s scales making sizzling sounds as they touched the scorching lava.
With a powerful kick of its legs, the Silver Fire Dragon pushed Jié Jié back, flipping its wings over the hot magma without caring about the temperature, and let loose a fireball toward Jié Jié while roaring.
Jié Jié flapped his wings and leaped, using the explosive force to soar back into the sky, dodging a tail whip from the Golden Fire Dragon.
The explosion from the fireball could engulf several hunters standing together, but for two twenty-meter monsters, it was still too small.
Seeing its tail whip miss, the Golden Fire Dragon didn’t stop, jumping up with its wings stretched out and performing a somersault in the air, swinging its heavy tail toward Jié Jié again.
The Golden Fire Dragon usually relied on various acrobatic moves, making its aerial flips and tail whips hard to predict.
But this time, Jié Jié preemptively leapt, returning the favor with a side flip and tail whip, striking the Golden Fire Dragon’s wing, disrupting its balance in the air and causing it to land awkwardly on the ground.
Realizing the Golden Fire Dragon wasn’t fighting fairly, Iron Pot and Porcelain Bowl, watching from the spectator stand deep within the magma mountain, joined the fray. They saw Jié Jié focusing on the Silver Fire Dragon, so they worked together to restrain the Golden Fire Dragon.
Wooden Ladle, hesitating initially, seeing the teamwork of his elder brothers, flapped his wings and joined them.
They knew they couldn’t defeat the Golden Fire Dragon, but restraining it was within their reach. The Golden Fire Dragon’s toxins were fierce, but their well-nourished bodies allowed them to endure the initial discomfort and develop immunity, allowing them to continue fighting.
And the Golden Fire Dragon seemed to be holding back a bit?
Seeing the influence of the Golden Fire Dragon temporarily neutralized by the younger ones, Jié Jié and the Silver Fire Dragon focused more intently on their low-altitude entanglement, searching for opportunities.
In low-altitude combat, the Silver Fire Dragon’s aerial agility was restricted, giving Jié Jié, with his larger size and weight, an advantageous position.
Even so, the various techniques displayed by the Silver Fire Dragon were extremely beneficial for Jié Jié, who immediately put them into practice.
They grew increasingly familiar with each other’s fighting techniques, habits, and instincts, reaching the point where one should start pulling ahead.
A slight spin in mid-air avoided the Silver Fire Dragon’s pounce and bite. A pillar of burning flame swept past its body without pause, and Jié Jié dove onto the Silver Fire Dragon’s back, pinning it down with his weight.
The Silver Fire Dragon’s front half pressed against the ground, and with a mighty large spin involving side shakes, wing strikes, and tail whips, it finally threw Jié Jié off.
This large spin contained multiple smaller actions, leaving almost no blind spots, and it received solid feedback from its hits.
At the end of the large spin, the Silver Fire Dragon gracefully swung its neck around and spat out a pale blue flame from its mouth.
Wild, ferocious, yet elegant—it had been plotting this for a long time.
Jié Yán’s attack left a trail of explosive light, culminating in a magnificent mushroom cloud.
The Silver Fire Dragon slightly closed its eyes, confident that its breath weapon had struck the target.
But what was the result?
Panting, waiting, believing the opponent, even if alive, must have suffered severe damage, it took this chance to recuperate.
“HUH-ROOOAAAARRR—”
When the flames dissipated, it saw the battered black sun dancing.
Its hooves stomped on the molten rock ground, accepting all the heat into its body, transforming it into a fiery armor. There was a cracked red glow on its chest, as if containing something terrible.
He had been plotting this for a long time too.
“ROOAAARRR—”
The Silver Fire Dragon’s eyes reflected the flare shot by the black sun, stinging and burning, its body involuntarily trembling. Instinctively, it converted the recently regained strength into tense defense rather than hope for evasion.
The battered silver sun collapsed on the ground, its light dimming.
Seeing this, the Golden Fire Dragon erupted in fury, ignoring the Male Fire Dragon’s harassment and rushing forward.
But Jié Jié had already landed beside the Silver Fire Dragon, visible burn marks running from his chest to his throat.
The Silver Fire Dragon opened its eyes slightly, letting out a weak roar due to its weakness.
“Wanna learn? Tuition required, though.”
But right now, they still had to knock out the angry Golden Fire Dragon.
Looking at the unconscious Silver Fire Dragon, Jié Jié grew stronger yet clumsier.
The Spiny Dragon lowered its horn, taking heavy steps toward the Golden Fire Dragon.
Looking at the spike under the Golden Fire Dragon’s jaw, Jié Jié thought of something, lifting his lowered head high and finishing the Golden Fire Dragon’s charge with a side bite.
Using both feet to control the momentum, he initiated a large spin, flapping his wings to increase the Golden Fire Dragon’s stumble, followed by a tail whip that directly knocked the Golden Fire Dragon down.
Jié Jié was like a super-heavy tank, brimming with impact power, causing anyone who brushed against him to stagger.
Toxic poison seeped through the wounds into the Golden Fire Dragon’s body, making its already stiffened body heavier. Facing Jié Jié’s relentless combo punches, it was powerless to resist, its eyes flashing with fear.
“BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!”
The Golden Fire Dragon only felt dizzy and faint, passing out.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
