Chapter 361

Chapter 361: The Rocky Thief Dragon’s Tail.

“BOOM!!”

The intense impact of the dust explosion made the Steel Dragon stagger, and Nana seized this opportunity to use her fangs to hook open a gap in the Steel Dragon’s shell before piercing through it.

With a mighty tug, the Master of the Storm was brought down and stomped on by the Flame Empress Dragon’s massive paw.

As Season shook off, continuous streams of dust drifted over, enveloping both Nana and the Steel Dragon with fiery light that carried an intense impact.

There was no way there wouldn’t be some friendly damage, but the Sunfire Dragon’s shell had superior resistance to explosions compared to the Steel Dragon. Even more fragments of its shell fell off due to the explosions, creating even more dust.

Blue-violet dust erupted into fierce hellfire, even repelling streams of crimson flames.

“Grunt!”

The Steel Dragon groaned again, unleashing a cyclone that flapped against Nana’s wing membrane. With all its limbs straining to break free from the restraint, it fluttered its wings, summoning a pitch-black dragon roll as it rose back into the sky, sending the watching fire dragons reeling.

“Grunt!!!”

The shadow within the storm roared.

“Roar!” x2

Season approached Nana, refusing to be outdone. Spreading his broad wings fully, the raging winds beneath them became gentle.

The shadow within the storm paused for a moment before retreating without hesitation.

Season glanced at Nana; seeing she wasn’t pursuing, he also decided not to follow.

Unless one party relentlessly pressed, ancient dragons fighting over territory rarely led to fights to the death. Push too hard, lose control, explode, and both sides would end up losing—only benefiting the Extinction Dragon.

Perhaps this was the consensus among the ancient dragons in the Dragon Crystal Land.

At this moment, Nana stood tall, pride filling her gaze, as if her entire being shouted “Look at me! Look at me!” with her hands on her hips.

“Nana is very capable indeed!”

Season blinked, revealing a look of affection.

Meanwhile, the three male fire dragons stared at each other, surrounding them, transforming into puffed-up big crows.

“This dragon crystal should have activated and grown recently, judging by its size. It’s quite large, unfortunately, it’s not easy to take away.”

In the past, it was always said that jade has effects like stabilizing homes, nurturing, and avoiding disasters. Whether true or not, the shimmering activated dragon crystal before him genuinely had a nurturing effect.

Nana lay down beside the dragon crystal, basking contentedly in the sun that reappeared after the Steel Dragon’s departure.

The sunlight here was indeed good, but alas, there were no prey on the ground, and the Dragon Crystal Land lacked ingredients suitable for making soup.

He missed Bobo somewhat. Their next stop would be the Eternal Frostland to find Bobo.

Not long after, Iron Pot returned with an Acid Winged Dragon clamped in his mouth. Season and Nana merely glanced at it and didn’t give it another look.

Even Iron Pot himself took two bites and, finding it all bones, simply tossed it aside.

Living together with the two male fire dragons for so long had made their appetites pickier. Basin, however, still approached and cleaned it up thoroughly. Competition among the flying dragons of Coral Land Plateau mustn’t be easy.

“Roar! Roar!”

In the distance, the cries of fire dragons reached Iron Pot and Basin, who simultaneously raised their heads. That was Porcelain Bowl’s voice, likely having discovered something interesting?

Iron Pot and Basin took off together to support Porcelain Bowl.

Season glanced at Nana, who lazily swept her tail—a posture undoubtedly hinting at an invitation.

Pretending not to see, Season didn’t respond. Not long after, Nana nudged him with her body.

“Roar!!!”

The distant fire dragons roared louder, tempting him to investigate what monster three air dominants couldn’t handle.

Rubbing against Nana, he flapped his wings and flew toward the direction of the fire dragons, leaving the Flame Empress Dragon puffing up in annoyance as she lay back down.

In sight came the fire dragons encircling and chasing a large, obese lizard.

The hefty Rocky Thief Dragon’s mouth was stuffed full of dragon crystals, panic evident in its eyes as it endured falling fireballs while executing graceful Z-shaped movements.

By the time Season arrived, the Rocky Thief Dragon had successfully found a cave and was trying hard to burrow deeper inside.

Porcelain Bowl dived down and bit onto the thrashing tail of the Rocky Thief Dragon. Just as he thought to pull, there was a snap, and the Rocky Thief Dragon’s tail cleanly broke off.

Porcelain Bowl grabbed the tail intending to feed when Iron Pot and Basin approached, attempting to share the spoils.

Thanks to the unequal sharing among the fire dragons, which delayed time, Season managed to seize the Rocky Thief Dragon’s tail last.

The tail emitted a rather strong smell. As everyone knows, the combination of strongly fishy-smelling fish and strongly gamey-smelling sheep creates fresh flavors.

This tail looked and smelled perfect for cooking!

Ignoring the yearning gazes of the three fire dragons, Season transformed into a Sky Dog Beast. He chopped the enormous Rocky Thief Dragon’s tail into pieces, coated it with salt for seasoning ahead of time to balance out the potent odor, then proceeded to heat oil in a frying pan.

He learned much from Chef Kitty in the dining area, including marinating techniques. During his spare time, he even boiled some meat oil to use as seasoning.

The meat oil sizzled hotly in the frying pan, emitting a strong aroma of meat, drawing not only the fire dragons closer but also instantly causing Nana, who was resting, to stand straight and lick her lips in anticipation.

When the oil bubbled and boiled, he added the pre-marinated pieces of the Rocky Thief Dragon’s tail. Chunks of bone-in meat sizzled on the oil, producing crackling sounds.

Rocky Thief Dragons are heat resistant, but under the flames leaping on the pot bottom—flames of the Emperor of Flames—even their skin was crisped!

Had Season not consciously suppressed the temperature, the food would’ve been instantly consumed by flames rising into the pot.

Continuously tossing and stir-frying, the slices danced in the pot while the seasoning bottle in his other hand kept shaking, sprinkling seasonings evenly on both sides of the jumping slices.

The flame extinguished, and the frying pan was placed on the counter, the aromatic Rocky Thief Dragon tail attracting the four dragons to quickly gather around, jostling each other, nearly pushing Season out.

“Everyone gets a share! I’ll divide!”

Though the Rocky Thief Dragon’s tail was initially sizable, after cooking, it shrank and remained too small for them.

The Flame Empress Dragon and the male fire dragons had become clever, mostly holding the slices in their mouths to savor the taste, choosing flavor satisfaction over filling their stomachs. However, Basin swallowed it whole, looking wistfully at the others.

Siblings’ bonds dissolved during the distribution of spoils. Nana squinted without paying attention to it, leaving Basin to look only at Season.

“Ah, don’t swallow anymore, okay?”

Season handed out the last slice from the pot but worried Basin’s taste buds wouldn’t be satisfied. So, he held the slice and fed it directly into Basin’s mouth without letting go.

The female fire dragon stared wide-eyed as her tongue continuously flipped between the meat slice and Season’s claw.

When he finally withdrew his claw, it was covered in the fire dragon’s saliva.

Behind him, the sound of “Prprprpr” continued. Looking back, the pot, covered in grease residue, appeared exceptionally smooth, as if it didn’t need washing at all.

Looking beyond appearances to the essence, what remained in the pot was nothing but Nana’s saliva.

The three fire dragons transformed into hungry dragons, flying into the sky to scatter and search for the Rocky Thief Dragon’s traces.
