Chapter 345: Nana Disca Tor.
Perhaps due to the fiery battlefield stirred up by two Sunfire Dragons, the Sand Earth Dragon hadn’t even shown itself before being swiftly wiped out clean by the two dragons.
Jié Jié didn’t quite know what to do, so he led Nana on a purposeless stroll through the desert.
When they reached deep within the desert, the Flame Empress Dragon tapped him with her tail, guiding him into the underground depths of the sands.
Underground rivers gurgled noisily, and karst caves eroded by water were unusually humid—yet this was one of the rarest sources of water deep in the desert.
Circling past the underground river, they arrived at an unexpectedly spacious cavern. Surprisingly, it wasn’t dim here; countless glittering winged insects flew around, providing light for the underground area. Some minerals reflected various faint colors under the illumination.
A mountain made of sand stood at the center of the vast space, with a thin line of sand connecting it to the ceiling. Stalactites hanging from above had cracked open, allowing the desert’s sand to slowly seep down.
It looked somewhat like an hourglass.
The Flame Empress Dragon’s nest lay deeper inside. Beyond the broken rock layers, the sand had been melted into glass, and the rocks had been baked black. A streak of solidified lava hung from a crack in the rock, but the magma here had long since lost its regenerative properties.
Naturally formed minerals weren’t abundant, though there were some collected from outside that had been stuck into the ground or had broken into crystals.
To be honest, this was Jie Jie’s first time visiting the Flame Empress Dragon’s lair in the Giant Ant Hill Wasteland. Their interactions had always taken place outside.
It was clear that the setup here resembled the Dragon Crystal Land—a prime real estate location on the New Continent.
Though expansive, the desert paled in comparison to the Dragon Crystal Land.
However, before heading back to the Dragon Crystal Land, Jie Jie did know of a better place in the Giant Ant Hill Wasteland—an old dwelling left behind by ancient dragons.
With light steps, he led the Flame Empress Dragon out of the underground and soared northward beyond the desert wastelands. Among the Rock Pillar Peaks, sunlight still leaked through a gap.
Beneath the gap lay the remnants of the Golden Land left behind by the Glittering Dragon.
Many things had been moved away—the Golden Shrine, the Little Golden Mountain—but the golden hue in the rock walls hadn’t faded yet, still reflecting faint glimmers.
In the golden fields, various minerals remained, but the vitality here had dimmed.
The eggs encased in gold had been taken away by the Glittering Dragon, leaving the bun crabs without their pillar of support. The sight of large groups of bun crabs scurrying everywhere could no longer be seen.
The scale-hitting warriors seemed to have disappeared as well—whether they shed their golden sheen or their clan was replaced by ordinary bats, the tiny golden bats were nowhere to be found.
The boisterous Odd-Faced Tribe appeared to have left too. The fences in the field were decayed, and the masks once hung upon them had vanished.
It seemed that along with Dì Mǔ Shén’s departure, the essence of the Golden Land had also been lost.
But Nana had never witnessed the Golden Land in its prime. She was surprised to find such a vast expanse underground and wandered around, looking up in amazement.
Was this his nest? Why hadn’t he brought her here before?
Sensing Nana’s skeptical gaze, Jie Jie blinked but gave no indication. He simply led her around, collecting minerals and stuffing them into his silk bag, intending to use them for smelting.
The firelight from a dust explosion struck the entrance of the palace, leading them further down. The magma field had become a molten land, and the volcano showed no signs of eruption anymore.
Even so, the geothermal heat here still surpassed that of the Flame Empress Dragon’s small den. Many glowing stones hung on the walls, drawing her attention as she wandered about, replenishing her strength.
But this wasn’t the end. The sleeping chamber at the end of the palace was dim and lifeless, seemingly the place most affected by the Glittering Dragon’s departure. It was now little more than an ordinary karst cave, save for a shallow pool of gold left behind by the Glittering Dragon.
Did the Glittering Dragon lying here, preparing to enter slumber, still remain active in the Dragon Crystal Land?
Faded memories were gradually unearthed as Jie Jie re-locked onto the ancient Golden Land in the Dragon Crystal Land.
Looking at the foolish girl who was clawing at the golden floor, he decided to awaken some forgotten memories here.
The firelight illuminated the dark cave. The Flame Empress Dragon scrutinized her mate, finding unprecedented satisfaction in him.
Lush mane, sharply defined handsome face, majestic crown horns, bright red carapace, and a robust physique—his forelegs were thicker than her hind legs.
As the firelight dimmed, the mane seemed to vanish? His face became blurred and dark, while his crimson skin suddenly grew as profound as shadows, only reflecting scattered white dots.
The firelight flared brightly, revealing the Extinction Dragon with spread wings.
The Flame Empress Dragon retreated in shock and anger, trembling so much that dust swirled around her.
Before she could react further, the monstrous face softened into a familiar handsome visage, with a bright flame flickering on his crimson body. The previous scene felt like an illusion.
The confusion on the Flame Empress Dragon’s face turned to bewilderment as their initial encounter came flooding back.
The mighty dragon alternated between red and black, dominating the chaotic battlefield, soaring through the skies of the molten world.
Just like her current mate, who occasionally emitted radiant flames and sometimes merged with the darkness.
“It’s me.”
She touched her mate’s thoughts, realizing that no matter how the hues of red and black changed, the essence within remained unchanged.
But as the pitch-black dragon—the enemy of ancient dragons—approached, the Flame Empress Dragon instinctively leapt aside, scattering dust, and hid behind the thick rock pillar in the center of the sleeping chamber.
The black dragon tiptoed and lunged sideways, briefly entering her line of sight before retreating behind the rock pillar again.
Bright and familiar flames flickered, and the Flame King Dragon stepped out gracefully from the other side of the rock pillar, his eyes filled with relaxed mockery.
He gathered his wings as he walked over, and the familiar sensation of friction brushed against her side.
Her gaze followed him, seeing the red tail with its mane transform into a black tail with spines, lightly tapping his side.
She turned her body to keep her gaze on him, but the familiar sensation of friction came from the other side, warm and restless.
Shaking her body and glancing sideways, she met the Flame King Dragon’s face.
“Nana Disca Tor”
The syllables pierced her thoughts like a true name. Nana willingly pressed herself against her mate, even as the familiar friction became strange, the hard spines scratching against her carapace.
She bit down fiercely, holding onto the Extinction Dragon beside her, only slightly relaxing when the Flame King Dragon reappeared before her eyes.
Watching her mate constantly changing, Nana realized she didn’t feel as intense emotions as she had at the beginning.
She had grown desensitized.
—Meanwhile—
Far away in the Fenglong region, within the mysterious and complex Ancient Tower, the true Nana Disca Tor snorted in her sleep.
The young dragon person wrapped in a cloak raised her head, feeling…as if something that belonged to her had been taken and used.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
