Chapter 237: World Peace?
Jie Jie is still unsure of the Steel Dragon’s thoughts. At this moment, he discovers a fissure in the rock layer at the foot of a volcano.
The protruding rock layers have conveniently formed a wide road connecting to the underground world, allowing magma from the volcano to flow into it.
In the accumulated lava pool, there’s a Magma Dragon swimming around.
Unable to fly due to the narrow space underground, Jie Jie helplessly glides away from the magma and lands somewhere safer.
Even though he moves away from the magma, he can’t escape the Molten Dragon expanding its territory. Even as an Ultra-Large Monster, it shoots magma at him, taking advantage of the molten landscape to bully around.
But when Jie Jie uses large rocks to constrain the flow of magma, the Molten Dragon panics and charges towards him, twisting its body.
And… it flies off.
Watching the Molten Dragon get slapped away, tracing a beautiful arc through the air, Jie Jie feels it lacks proper dialogue.
Its massive and heavy tail lands on the ground, along with folded legs maintaining balance, keeping the upper body upright, giving off the vibe that it’s about to unleash indiscriminate destruction.
In reality, Jie Jie merely thinks he’s sitting down, enjoying the slow flow of magma down the volcano, letting countless colors of light color his senses.
His folded legs bear significant pressure, which might make them stronger over time.
He sits there until the sun sets, passing through the volcano’s mouth and sinking behind the curtain, creating a sense of completion akin to a grand finale.
Shaking his shoulders, Jie Jie gets up and begins walking underground, spreading the authority of the Ancient Dragon King.
Following the trail of red energy in the air, he arrives at the place richest in geothermal and energy.
The Ming Deng Long is dead, and he won’t extract Earth Pulse Energy. The environment of the New Continent should improve soon, and before long, more battle-hardened individuals rich in energy will emerge, right?
While walking, he ponders.
At this moment, he’s exceptionally spirited. Any Hammer Dragon he encounters on the road gets kicked like a ball.
The birth of Jie Jie’s Ming Deng Long form was not at some node of the Earth Pulse or pivot point of the Underworld but in a surface cave.
Relying on the energy produced by the Earth Pulse Source Crystal for development and emergence, he never managed to establish contact with the underground family of Ming Deng Longs from the start, making it even harder now after his emergence.
After hatching, the female Ming Deng Long no longer has the vague mental connection from the cocoon.
Deep underground, the true young king within the egg hasn’t stirred a thought, preparing energy for the once-a-decade Ancient Dragon Crossing Exam without making a sound.
Thus, Jie Jie sees world peace.
When the red energy conflicts with the escape route of the Hammer Dragon, Jie Jie decisively gives up chasing wheels and reaches the place abundant in thermal energy, where the mighty Flame King Dragon should reside.
He sits again, his head against the ceiling, like a dragon supporting the underground, waiting for the Sunfire Dragons to come pay homage.
The dragons that arrive are familiar ones; the eldest Flame King Dragon couple still occupies the most energy-rich area of the Dragon Crystal Land.
Not new, not young Flame King Dragon couples, a hint of joy creeps onto Jie Jie’s brow.
Although he has no immediate intention of getting married, he hopes the Flame Empress Dragon who once made his heart flutter retains that feeling.
As thoughts flow, the Flame King Dragon roars a warning and charges toward him.
Lowering his upper body, his immense size grants a huge advantage; the explosion of scattered dust cannot engulf his massive frame or hinder his movements.
His arm rises, claws spread menacingly, locking onto the Flame King Dragon’s every move, hitting precisely during its recovery phase.
The Flame King Dragon is repelled directly. Another claw rises, swinging toward the Flame Empress Dragon attempting to disrupt his balance.
The Flame Empress Dragon leaps back to dodge, only to see the great dragon’s forelimbs plunging into the rock layer.
Cracks glow with a faint blue light, surging energy adjusts according to his claw motions, accurately spreading beneath the Flame Empress Dragon and exploding into Hellfire.
The Flame Empress Dragon lowers her limbs and grits her teeth to endure, wings flapping amidst swirling dust.
“Hooouuu!!”
A fierce wave of fire erupts from the Flame King Dragon’s mouth behind, sweeping up both wife and the Ming Deng Long’s figure.
The Ming Deng Dragon’s elongated head breaks through the flames, stepping forward while enduring the constantly exploding dust.
Two short-lived light cannons hit each of the couple, effectively knocking them back. A raised claw lands on the Flame Empress Dragon’s body, pressing down forcefully.
The energy intended to create a gushing spring directly strikes the Flame Empress Dragon, momentarily nullifying her attempts to break free.
All he needs to do is lower his elongated neck, and a focused beam will severely injure her.
But she’s not alone. Scarlet flames rush forth, leaping to knock away the arm pinning her down, leaving sliding claw marks on the ground.
The Flame King Dragon collides with the Ming Deng Long’s shoulder but only makes Jie Jie step back slightly, gathering momentum for a Dragon Charge.
Four limbs moving, inertia from his weight transforms into impact force, breaking the Flame King Dragon’s offensive and sending him tumbling backward.
With the husband retreating, the Flame Empress Dragon steps forward again, cracks on her crest filled with the dignity of an elder. As she spreads dust while flapping her wings, her wing spines rub together.
Massive amounts of dust explode into regional fire, splashing onto Jie Jie’s body and burning fiercely, but they quickly contract and rotate, bursting into a larger flame.
The Ming Deng Long’s body trembles slightly, feather-like appendages swaying like the outer flames of Hellfire.
In truth, his fully developed shell doesn’t let any light through, all light contracting inward and surging up his throat.
A stable beam tears through the explosive Hellfire, the Ming Deng Long’s elongated neck twisting, the beam scanning toward the Flame Empress Dragon’s energy source.
Hellfire scorches trails across the ground, finally blooming on the Flame Empress Dragon’s body, Dragon Attribute Energy seeping into her, triggering a Dragon Seal upon collision.
The Flame Empress Dragon, battered and dim, lands behind the Flame King Dragon, who once again protects her.
The two Sunfire Dragons exchange glances, releasing all stored dust to create an explosive burst of firelight obscuring their forms.
Elongated necks pierce through the flames, their energy outlines retreating.
Old dragons possess wisdom and foresight, choosing to avoid this enormous dragon in the future.
The flames die down, wounds on the Ming Deng Long’s body rapidly renewing themselves through metabolism.
He takes a step forward, choosing to chase after the two Sunfire Dragons.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
