Chapter 224

Chapter 224: Get on the Big Wagon.

That golden hue lit up Jié Jié’s eyes, as if illuminating the entire dim cave.

Probably ran into an old buddy dragon!

Following the guidance of the golden light, Jié Jié broke through the sealed Golden Land and entered a vast open space.

This Golden Land was much deeper than the Giant Ant Hill Wasteland. The dome no longer let sunlight in, but there were more regenerative magma pools providing illumination.

It was very quiet here.

The Glittering Dragon couldn’t possibly bring all the creatures from the Golden Land during relocation, meaning everything would have to develop anew.

But it wasn’t starting from scratch again.

The Odd-Faced Tribe had already carved out extensive roads underground, and some tribes might have moved in right when the Glittering Dragon arrived.

Golden Mantou Crabs could still be seen, but their numbers were clearly reduced.

Perhaps they were lodged within the gold and brought over by the Glittering Dragon, now reproducing their offspring.

“Crunch~”

Flame Sword Dragon’s long snout clamped onto a Mantou Crab, crunching it down in two bites.

Not enough to be full, but good enough.

While slurping on the Mantou Crab, Jié Jié wandered around the expansive Golden Land. This place was evidently older than the one in the Giant Ant Hill Wasteland. Half of a massive fossilized rib bone was exposed in the rock wall.

An ancient coiled creature embedded in the rock wall, its form differing significantly from today’s Glittering Dragon.

The Odd-Faced Tribe members were playing around, brawling over a pretty bone artifact, while others who accidentally ate paralyzing mushrooms were lying on the ground twitching.

Flame Sword Dragon raised their alertness, but upon realizing Jié Jié had no hostility, peace was maintained within the guarded perimeter.

Breaking through the soft rock, Jié Jié found the Glittering Dragon sleeping.

The Glittering Dragon’s sleeping chamber hadn’t been elaborately decorated yet, but the gold had been melted into a hot spring lake. Dì Mǔ Shén’s skirt-like armor seemed to have merged with the gold pool, half her body exposed outside the pool.

Her eyes were closed; she was deep in slumber.

Like a beauty bathing, too exhausted to stay awake and fell asleep in the pool.

Pulsating heat waves continuously emitted from her nostrils. Jié Jié approached her exposed chest, visibly seeing red light flashing with each breath.

Her breathing was steady, not gradually fading away like before, indicating this was just regular sleep, not a decades-long hibernation.

Jié Jié didn’t wake her up but instead curled up on a hidden pillar and fell asleep too.

The massive noise caused by Ultra-Large Monster activities woke him up. The Glittering Dragon was now decorating her sleeping chamber.

Chunks of gold were smeared onto her body, then transferred to the rock walls through friction. She occasionally emitted heat waves, melting the solidified gold for adjustments.

The gold seemed to have diminished to a level unacceptable to the Glittering Dragon. She walked toward a cave encircled by gold, liquefying the rock layer with her Breath Weapon before leaving the place.

Jié Jié closely followed behind. Flame Sword Dragon, resistant to high temperatures and capable of digging, could keep up with the Glittering Dragon.

The liquefied rock layer lost its regenerative properties, quickly solidifying as the Glittering Dragon’s heat dissipated. He had to stick close to her.

Twisting his body, he pierced his long snout into the Glittering Dragon’s gold skirt, hooking it tightly. After plunging his claws in and grabbing hold, he pulled his head out.

His upper body firmly hung onto the Glittering Dragon, hitching a ride.

Being dragged along by the molten rock flowing backward felt much faster than wriggling around like an eel! And it was extremely comfortable.

He wasn’t holding onto the Glittering Dragon herself but her skirt. She remained completely unaware of his presence.

Thus, Jié Jié successfully returned to the Dragon Crystal Land by clinging to the Glittering Dragon’s skirt.

The Glittering Dragon broke through the ground and entered the cave in the Dragon Crystal Land. He jumped off her skirt and charged toward the group of Assault Dragons that had gathered due to the earthquake.

Apart from Mantou Crabs, he hadn’t eaten meat for a week.

The commotion nearby also caught the Glittering Dragon’s attention, making her turn her head to look at Jié Jié who was feeding.

At this moment, Flame Sword Dragon’s entire body was wrapped in solidified magma, only partially cracked and falling off due to violent movements. Focused on the meat before him, he didn’t look back.

She wasn’t harmed, nor did they make eye contact. The restored gentle Glittering Dragon lacked interest in smaller monsters, unaware that a long eel had used her as a free ride.

Only after biting into the Assault Dragon did Jié Jié look back, eating while observing the Glittering Dragon.

During the underground journey, Dì Mǔ Shén’s golden horns had clearly attracted a lot of minerals, with magma stains visible on the surface.

The magma shattered as she swung her skirt, like a lady shaking off dirt from her skirt.

Alright, he totally rode her skirt!

Flame Sword Dragon’s claws weren’t suited for ground movement, but if there was magma nearby, he could use it to slide and accelerate, easily keeping up with the Glittering Dragon.

After abandoning the unreliable three-point positioning method to find Míng Dēng Lóng, life became leisurely again.

Following the Glittering Dragon to collect minerals, watching various monsters fight in the Dragon Crystal Land, occasionally even dragging her into the fray.

They inadvertently brought in a dimensional reduction strike.

The Glittering Dragon rarely got angry, but she wasn’t incapable of counterattacking.

Right now, a terrified Terror Tyrant charged at the Glittering Dragon with its weapon.

In its mouth, it was carrying a blue Grim Claw Dragon.

The blue Grim Claw Dragon was actually a subspecies of the Grim Claw Dragon called the Fierce Claw Dragon, which evolved the ability to use Dragon Attribute Energy to battle various attribute monsters.

But even evolving into a Fierce Claw Dragon, it couldn’t escape its “grim” fate, being used as a farming tool by the Terror Tyrant.

What they called evolving the ability to use Dragon Attribute Energy was more like being baptized by dragon energy while being carried by the Terror Tyrant, getting pickled in flavor.

The Glittering Dragon was a huge target, so without a word, the Terror Tyrant charged forward with the Fierce Claw Dragon, fiercely smashing into the Glittering Dragon.

The terrifying brute force of the Theropod made the Glittering Dragon shake slightly, tilting her head to look at the Terror Tyrant.

Was it you hitting me?

The Glittering Dragon tilting her head in confusion was incredibly cute, thought Jié Jié watching from the magma.

The Terror Tyrant’s combo attack gave her the answer.

After receiving the reply, Dì Mǔ Shén lifted her claw.

One slap, and the Terror Tyrant was flipped out, the farming tool in its mouth dropping to the ground. With a spin, it retaliated against its former owner.

The Fierce Claw Dragon pounced onto the Terror Tyrant, biting furiously. By accident, it pushed its tail towards the Terror Tyrant, turning back into a farming tool.

Looks like it enjoys being a farming tool?

But the Terror Tyrant didn’t seem to like this tool anymore, throwing it around after a few swings.

The Fierce Claw Dragon, its tail broken, drew a beautiful arc in the air, landing in front of the Glittering Dragon like a little zombie thrown by a giant zombie.
