Chapter 33: Desire, But Appetite
Jié Jié felt the wind from behind, signaling that the Male Fire Dragon was already brimming with anticipation.
Indeed, she too was getting restless.
Jié Jié turned around and gently bit the wingtip the Male Fire Dragon offered, an act which seemed to be taken as foreplay by the Male Fire Dragon?
With such a fine Male Fire Dragon, how could she, as a Female Fire Dragon, not feel some desire?
Speaking of which, aside from being hard, the wings of a Fire Dragon are also incredibly resilient, allowing them to roll while pressing their wings down.
This seasoned Male Fire Dragon’s wing bones were even more remarkable; its wings became tougher after countless battles, time unable to age them under the covering of flesh and blood, even enduring a combo attack from the Terror Tyrant.
Such potent vitality.
Desire is not wrong, but it’s hunger.
Jié Jié didn’t let the Male Fire Dragon’s wingtip slip from her mouth, closing her eyes.
Her whole body was filled with unimaginable power and heat, and this strength was first used on her bite force.
When she opened her eyes, the Savage Jaw Dragon tightly bit into the Male Fire Dragon’s wing, throwing him entirely to the ground.
The most obvious enhancement from the Red Jade of the Terror Tyrant was seen in the fellow Beast Dragon, the Savage Jaw Dragon. Beneath its thick fur and scales, the muscles’ violent undulations were clearly visible.
“Roar~ Roar~”
The Male Fire Dragon landed heavily, his body bouncing and vibrating twice upon impact with the ground.
He couldn’t understand why his newly won bride suddenly turned into a forest brute.
Where was the Female Fire Dragon? The strong and beautiful Female Fire Dragon?
What exactly happened!
“Roar!”
Just as the Male Fire Dragon was about to roar loudly, another dizzying sensation struck.
Though familiar with aerial acrobatics, this dizziness was unfamiliar because he had no control over his own body.
He flapped his wings desperately, his claws kicking towards the Savage Jaw Dragon.
But it was too fast; with a powerful upward throw, one side of his wings collided with the dome, and before he knew it, he crashed back onto the ground again.
Another slam to the ground caused the already injured wing bones of the Male Fire Dragon to groan in pain at the Savage Jaw Dragon’s lips, on the verge of breaking.
The taste of blood in Jié Jié’s mouth grew stronger, stimulating her nerves.
The hunger brought on by the Red Jade of the Terror Tyrant intensified, manifesting in her eyes as a fervent desire to attack.
Powerful claws stepped on the fallen Fire Dragon’s wing roots, and the Blood-filled Mouth opened and closed, wildly tearing at the tip of the Fire Dragon’s wing.
“Crunch crunch.”
A sound that made every winged creature’s teeth ache reverberated through Jié Jié’s ears, causing her own unfurled membrane and front claws to experience phantom pain.
Yet, the blood flowing from the seasoned Male Fire Dragon’s wingtips seemed especially fresh and full of vitality.
Jié Jié greedily chewed and sucked, while the seasoned Male Fire Dragon struggled to lift himself up from the ground.
To a Fire Dragon, wings are the first life.
Enraged and sorrowful, all thoughts faded away, leaving only flames in his mind.
The initial cause of the seasoned species went berserk within him, a surging blue-tinged flame erupted from his mouth.
Jié Jié froze, letting go to interrupt the Male Fire Dragon’s counterattack.
But just as she let go, her chest and half her body were completely enveloped in flames. The terrifying temperature pierced straight through the Savage Jaw Dragon’s natural fire resistance, making her feel like she would turn into a highly flammable dragon oil can.
The focused high temperature was destroying her body, the pain of melting flesh permeating her nerves.
She had no choice but to fall and roll away from the center of the fiery pillar, her scorched ulcers covered in dirt and broken branches.
The column of fire from the Fire Dragon’s mouth ceased, saliva dripping as he panted, a last burst of energy seemingly bringing him closer to death.
He had expended too much energy fighting the Terror Tyrant, wanting to capture and eat the Flying Thunder Dragon when he saw it, but the guy had memory and ran instantly.
His wings hung limp, the tips and claws severely damaged, bitten and twisted off—flight would now be impossible for him.
And the energy from that last burst was already used up; the high temperature of that flame nearly burned through his mouth, losing his tongue so he couldn’t even roar anymore.
As Jié Jié shakily stood up, she bit down on the Male Fire Dragon, pushing his head into the mud.
Although she couldn’t see, she only felt that her forelimbs and chest-abdomen area had lost all sensation except for pain.
If it weren’t for the physical enhancement brought by the Red Jade of the Terror Tyrant, she might have been directly burned through and killed instantly.
“Crack, crack.”
Teeth clashed against the tough shell, scraping against the roughness of the Male Fire Dragon’s skull.
Unable to break through, her teeth ached unbearably.
The Male Fire Dragon struggled but had no more strength left.
Jié Jié bit his head, her claws stepping on his back.
Unpredictable fate, originally he wanted to step on her back, but now she was stepping on his.
The Savage Jaw Dragon’s bite force continued to increase with hunger and anger, adrenaline still coursing through her veins.
Sharp teeth shattered, yet she could feel the Male Fire Dragon’s skull gradually deforming in her mouth.
While biting, she also exerted force to twist.
Something slippery rolled into her mouth—was it the Fire Dragon’s eyeball?
“Crack!”
Finally, she crushed and deformed the Fire Dragon’s skull, the life-rich blood flowing into her mouth.
Jié Jié silently stepped away from the Male Fire Dragon, moving slightly further away, watching the passing of a once mighty ruler of the skies.
Drops of pus and tissue fluid dripped from where the Savage Jaw Dragon was burned, the pain still suffocating.
And the insatiable hunger remained.
“Use everything fully.”
Become part of me.
She growled lowly, starting to feed from the wings, showing the greatest respect a victor has for the fallen in nature.
The Fire Dragon’s shell was hard, biting it felt like eating crab legs—mostly shell and little meat.
But at this moment, she cared not for raw or cooked, only wanting to quickly finish the Male Fire Dragon’s corpse to avoid other monsters coming to steal food, her remaining strength barely enough for another intense battle.
The body parts’ shells were harder to chew, so Jié Jié transformed into the Black Wolf Bird, using high-intensity pecks to break open the can.
Looking sideways, she saw the chest-abdomen area’s shell melted into a mess, the exposed red flesh still rising and falling with each breath.
A neatly shaped scale flew off under the pecks and sparkled in the light.
“Heaven Scale?”
Jié Jié pecked twice but couldn’t break it, swallowing it whole instead.
She doubted if it was really a Heaven Scale since swallowing it gave no feeling, better to continue eating the Fire Dragon meat.
And the main meat of the Male Fire Dragon was unexpectedly delicious, especially the meat near the Red Jade, giving a tingling sensation.
This Fire Dragon’s meat was particularly attractive to her, she could feel her fatigue disappearing rapidly, the emptiness in her stomach filling up fast, feeling extremely comfortable all over.
The appetite brought on by the Red Jade of the Terror Tyrant naturally increased her eating speed. By the end, she even dismantled the crystal-clear bones, breaking them apart to consume the marrow inside.
The vigorous vitality of the seasoned species merged into Jié Jié’s body, wounds re-scabbing, soft new shells growing and hardening in damaged areas.
After swallowing the large Red Jade of the Fire Dragon, she felt the burn on her chest cool down instantly, the pain greatly alleviated.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
