Chapter 66

“This YK seems to be comfortably taking this Dragon.”

“Currently, with Yune pulling out the first core at top lane, it appears they’re conscious of the slight power difference for now.”

“Still, a fortunate point is that Aatrox has been holding up well aside from the one early death.”

“Even though there is a bit of a CS gap, Aatrox is still likely to thrive when the teamfight phase comes around. Conversely, Yune’s inherent weakness may show up.”

[Art seems stable enough, right?]

[He’s a passive Art, so we’re not sure how he’ll perform in teamfights.]

[Wasn’t the Art from last week really terrible?]

[But yeah, didn’t he get eliminated?]

“This was a situation where YK was able to significantly dictate the game after Yune secured a kill early on. That one kill from Para truly made a big difference.”

“You’re right… Just hold on a moment. It seems Azir is heading to the top lane.”

“Could he be trying to ambush Yune who’s returning by teleportation?”

“While we’ll need to see how long Owl can withstand, it looks like if Yune dies here, it would be a significant disadvantage for YK.”

[Is this a dive opportunity?]

[mrl]

[Azir’s first core might come out, so he should be dealing some damage.]

[Yune’s sword item is also out now.]

“As soon as Yune used Fate’s Seal on Azir!”

“While trying his best to resist by clearing the wave, Azir managed to land enough damage due to getting his core early, successfully eliminating Yune.”

“This kill, I feel, was largely due to the snowball effect from the earlier gank at mid-lane.”

“Is there a big connection?”

“As you just witnessed, Yune was barely caught here. That first core Azir had was really crucial.”

[This would’ve exploded the game if he survived.]

[That’s disappointing.]

[But isn’t Yune doing well against Art?]

[Really, when Art gets his nine-piece gear, it seems difficult to win the lane.]

“So if Yune’s growth is stopped here, the point of his pick might somewhat lose meaning.”

“Para is truly dictating the pace of this game. Entirely throwing YK’s plans into confusion.”

[Pull Ori so we can win mid lane combat <<< and then counter gank]
[Yune’s picked to win <<< this frees up top lane.]
[He just did everything right.]
[Damn... There you go again. The best GOAT in history of girls' high school esports.]

"Whoops, my ultimate's down as well, but Yune's ultimate is also down."

"I think we should just abandon this side lane and focus on the dragon fight."

At 28 minutes, Dragons were 1-2. The opponent had two.

Since Yune obtained his third core, all side lane control was lost. Giving them three dragons at this point could completely throw us off their game, so a fight was deemed necessary.

"I think we should take the dragon. I hit my third core, so pressing forward, it should be manageable."
"This fight, Art should join too."
"But I don't have an ultimate?"
"Still, it looks like we need to fight together."
"Understood."

As the team unanimously agreed with my order, we quickly cleaned the bottom lane and returned home.

Upon returning home and purchasing my third item, Zhonya's Hourglass, I used Teleport to head towards the Dragon nest.

"Be careful of Lucian’s ultimate."
"Had a taste earlier, and it's pretty painful."
"We're missing our frontline, so we'll have to carefully penetrate with attention to vision."
"Also, be cautious of Orianna's ability pokes. Even getting poked can hurt."

A tense standoff at the Dragon's nest.

With most of the damage dealers' items available, each skill could potentially land as a critical blow.

As the tension escalated and both teams kept firing off their skills...

"Watch out for Lucian's dash!"

With his ultimate, Lucian dashed forward. Lisim flew out against him.

A nearby Nyami immediately used her ultimate to save Lucian, but after using a flash, Lisim managed to knock Lucian towards our side.

"We got Lucian!"
"My ultimate went off."

Although we successfully eliminated Lucian, Lisim who had ventured into the enemy formation also died.

This created a 4v4 situation.

Hastened by the loss of their marksman, the enemy began attacking the dragon.

"Are they trying to grab it and go?"

Although we had Yune, the burst speed itself was fast.

"Anyway, we can't get the Smite clash now."

Hence, my decision was...

"Let me throw this, you guys observe the fight!"

The enemies were mostly without ultimate abilities, with only Yune's ultimate remaining.

Meaning, nothing could mark me.

Even if these were champs with mobility, invading and lingering in the dragon nest like this was crossing a line.

"Art, just keep an eye on Yune please!"

Invading the nest, when I used my ultimate, Yune side-stepped with his E skill leaving me able to mark and throw the rest.

A hopeless fight from the moment they engaged the dragon.

With Aphelios steadily grown, supported by Lulu's buffs, he managed to decimate the opposition, bringing a smooth finish.

"Should we end it now?"
"Lucian's coming back."
"If they defend and turn, we lose momentum, right?"
"Let's go for Baron instead?"

While moving towards mid-lane where the third tier turrets remained, opinions from the team were divided.
The top laner and jungler advocated for ending the game immediately, while the ADC duo insisted on going for the Baron due to Lucian respawning.

"There's no stopping this win, anyway."
However, to me, it was a guaranteed win.

Although the opposing Lucian held an Infinity Edge, his build went for range increase using a Gatling, focusing on ranged poke damages.
No matter how well he plays, it's insufficient to destroy our four teammates and the super minions.

"If we can't push, the opponent will go for Baron."
"If we can't end it now, we'll lose in the Baron fight anyway, the enemy has Lucian and Orianna flashes ready."

And there was one more reason we had to end it.

The enemy's damage dealers, Orianna and Lucian's flashes, were about to return.

"Let's end it, then."
"I'll try to mark Lucian."

The team leaned towards ending the game in accordance with my suggestion, advancing towards the enemy Nexus.

Reviving mid-game at the 30-minute mark, it was impossible for Lucian to block four point-blank tower attacks.

"Let's do well in game 2."
"This game follows Seo Ha's orders, so just listen."
"Let's win the next one."
"Great job, everyone."

"Did everyone enjoy the first set?"

"Both teams showed a truly intense and exciting championship-level performance."
"Yes, the players from both teams are now preparing for the second set."

[Who got POG in game 1?]
[Of course, duh.]
[ARK matches? It's always Para, obviously.]
[In the next set, Art's ban is coming up.]
[Seriously, they tried to counterpick with Yune, but again they just got crushed in the team fight.]
[But it's less about Art and more about Para locking things down all by himself.]

"For now, before our ban-pick session, let's introduce the special guests present for today's event."

"The camera is currently capturing the VIP seating area prepared for today's finals."
"They are indeed our generous benefactors, assisting with the operations of this LCK!"
"Among them are the department head of Seongsan Bank and the president of LW Pharmaceuticals."
"Also, let's give a warm welcome to the guests from Hansan, whose support has allowed us to host these championship matches in such a prime venue."
"We see members from Hansan Hospital and Hansan Foods."

[Hansan?]
[Whoa, is that guy amazing. Holy crap.]
[With that face and that height, he's the head of a hospital? No fairness, man.]
[Is this the CEO of Hansan Foods? She's stunning.]
[Yeah, she's almost on the level of Para.]
[But I feel I've seen her somewhere...]

Title: Para's Dragon-ending Supertoss

(Azir jumps into the dragon pit, sweeping the opponents away.)
(Para's decisive and strong voice from the post-game ingame sound, declaring 'Let's finish this off.')
Line dominance, successful gank, toss, order given.

Para <<< When he's around, any other actions get buried.

n But is it surprising to see a rookie issuing orders so forcefully?
n If you listen to ARK's voice lines, Para takes over from mid-game onwards.
n Para's voice is just amazing, isn't it...
n You can feel the determination to win in that final order. Haha.

Title: Legendary Event Occurs (For Real)

(The Han family sits at the finals VIP seats.)
Do you see that person, who rivals Para in beauty?
He is famous because of all the hype, but that person, she's actually the daughter of the Hansan CEO. Yeah.
The issue isn't with this, though.

(Moment from last year's LCK qualifiers showing Para watching with a heart-eye emoji.)
Do you see that person sitting next to Para giving heart-eyes?
That was her.

"Just legendary..."

n Seriously, no kidding.
n But why did no one notice her at the qualifiers?
n Choi Eunseo? She rarely appears in public, so she isn't well known.
n Would anyone imagine a billionaire's daughter attending LCK watch parties?
n Para's network >>> Her mother is a lawyer at a major firm, and her friends are second-generation tycoons.

n All those who made sexual jokes about Para never got far…

n Since her family was known from her debut, there were barely any hate comments on her. Hahahaha.

n Honestly, whenever they held a Gal’s Cup, the only thing that came up was who was more beautiful between celebrities and her.
