The first World Quest occurred in New Dimension.
Naturally, all related communities were ablaze with this news.
In such a situation, I… actually had nothing to do.
Well, saying there’s nothing to do in New Dimension is definitely not true.
To be precise, I had nothing prepared for the ‘World Quest – Tagirion.’
The participation requirements were to be over level 70 and have cleared the existing Tagirion Raid.
I had already satisfied both conditions, and I was almost done farming for Albion gear, which is the end-game specification in the game.
What more was I supposed to prepare for our Tabung for two months?
Of course, from what I’ve seen in the community, there are speculations that one can use existing Tagirion gear instead of Albion gear, but I had long finished farming that too.
So, I had absolutely nothing to prepare for the World Quest.

Ugh, Rene << I knew this girl would end up suppressing the good Elun Scadi Cult ㅇㅇ…
【Upvote: 1 / Downvote: 1】
ㅇㅇ: Did you know that this has already been perfectly rebutted with sound logic on her broadcast?
└ㅇㅇ: From watching the broadcast, it seems like it’s Elun and Scadi that should be under suspicion…
└Trex: Gallery Master, come on over lol
└Head-Broken Priest: Rene, it’s fine so log in haha;
└New Dimension Gallery: Thirsty for Rene, hurry and come lol
└Preten: When will the official New Dimension Gallery troll, Rene, start her broadcast today?

…That aside, how do they know all this, these people?
Ever since I found out that my post as a nameless user was being archived on the Tree Wiki, I’ve been inclined to buy a VPN to post on New Dimension Gallery.
Yet, every time, the New Dimension users instantly figured me out.
How on Earth do they do that?
If the IP changes, the VPN can’t be low-quality.
After all, it’s a paid VPN… a rather famous one at that.
At first, I thought it was just coincidence, but now it’s starting to feel a bit scary.
So let’s just call it a day at the New Dimension Gallery for now.
Next time, I better not get caught….
“Ah, huff…”
I’ve been sitting in front of the computer for quite a while, and my body feels stiff.
But I really don’t want to get up from my chair… It’s the kind of feeling all reclusive hikikomori know well.
Wouldn’t it be nice to take a refreshing break right now?
That temptation suddenly hit me, but it wouldn’t be possible anyway….
After all, it was time to find the content I’d do for today’s broadcast.
“Ahem…”
What game should I play today?
Or wouldn’t it be fine to just have a chat broadcast?
While doing broadcasts lately… to put it exactly, one thing I’ve felt while broadcasting as VTuber Rene is that it’s a job that requires more thinking than I expected.
Not that it’s a hard and tough job, but it’s simply that there’s a lot to think about in this job.
What game should I play on the broadcast? If it’s a chat broadcast, what should I talk about? What do the fans who watch the broadcast enjoy?
I have to constantly think and find answers.
Of course, even accounting for all that, I don’t think it’s an uncomfortable job… but anyway, I often think about this while broadcasting as VTuber Rene.
When I broadcast as just a streamer, it’s way easier.
There’s no need to find a separate game; just New Dimension is enough, and it’s overflowing with content.
It can’t be helped.
At this point, I’ve got no choice but to reveal the secret that VTuber Rene and streamer Rene are the same person and stick strictly to New Dimension broadcasts….
Well, I have no intentions of doing that at all.
As I pondered these unnecessary thoughts while searching for recent interesting games, a title caught my eye.
“Impersonation Show…?”

Today’s broadcast is at 5 PM
I’ve brought a game that looks quite fun

[Impersonation Show | 4814 viewers | 00:01:33]
─What kind of game is this?
─Since it’s called Impersonation Show, I guess it’s a game for impersonating?
─Do you really think I wouldn’t know that?
─Isn’t this that thing?
─Ah, that one.
As I started the broadcast, many were quite confused in the chat window.
The most common question was what kind of game this even is.
To be honest, I was surprised too.
I read the game description and thought it would be fun, so I bought it right away, but there wasn’t much information available even when I tried to look for it.
I never imagined there wouldn’t even be a document on the Tree Wiki.
The only information available was that it was quite popular among overseas streamers… more specifically, it seemed to be popular among overseas VTubers.
However, it seemed to be quite unpopular in Korea, which made me think of just not playing it…
When broadcasting, it’s better to play a game that’s at least somewhat known rather than one that nobody knows at all, as it livens up the broadcast atmosphere.
Since I hadn’t even executed the game yet, it wasn’t like I couldn’t refund it.
…Well, in the end, I decided to go ahead and broadcast because it looked fun.
─Isn’t this a game where you have to give up being human?
─What does that even mean lol?
Oh.
Fortunately, there were some people who knew about this game.
…But what does it mean by giving up being human?
“Hello everyone… I am the Inquisition Officer of the Iya Cult, VTuber Rene…”
Swallowing those questions inside, I slowly began to speak.
─Reha
─What kind of game is this???
─It’s an Impersonation Show, so it’s a game for impersonating.
─Come on, who would ask that?
“Um… I also just thought it would be fun today, so I brought it without knowing much about it…”
After hastily reading the description, it seems to be a game where you mimic all sorts of sounds with your voice….
Thinking about it, it’s probably not impersonating specific characters but rather mimicking sounds that anyone could recognize, right?
Well, I’ll find out once I play it.
“Shall we get started then…?”
I said that and clicked to start the game, choosing between single-player and multiplayer, obviously clicking single-player.
Then came the statement to select your face, and an avatar appeared… but can we really call this an avatar?
It was a frame over a clunky humanoid model.
When you choose a photo to put inside the frame, that becomes your avatar.
From cats to dogs, snakes, lizards, rabbits, lions, tigers, and so on…
“Seems like it’s only animals…”
If I had to choose, I’d like to be a fox the most.
─Everyone wants to see fox-eared Rene, huh…
─That’s a mad cringe.
─Let’s ask mama to make a fox-eared god outfit for you, Rene.
─What a stream of consciousness;
…Every time I think about it, it feels like the descriptions in my document on the Tree Wiki are misleading.
During broadcasts, they say I make weird noises… ridiculous noises, but it’s not really me making the weird noises, it’s these guys.
…Ah, that was about streamer Rene.
Momentarily confused there.
Well, considering the believers also make nothing but strange noises, it’s pretty much the same.
Anyway, I finished setting up my avatar, so it was time to start the game.
The first one was… the sound of falling into water was the name of the stage.
[Yes! The Impersonation Show begins today!]
As the stage started, a parrot appeared.
To be precise, it was the picture of a parrot on a clunky humanoid model like my avatar.
The clothes of the avatar were slightly different, though.
[Okay, participants, please come forward!]
[The first impersonation is this!]
[Please listen carefully and imitate it!]
〔Splashhh…!〕
And after those lines, the speaker graphic on the screen lit up green, and a sound echoed into my ears: ‘The sound of something splashing into water.’
…So, I just have to imitate that sound?
[Are you ready?]
[1. Ready OK!]
[2. Can you play it again?]
Well, I don’t think it’s necessary to listen again.
Since the sound won’t change, and just from having heard it once, I was already confident that I could perfectly imitate it.
[1. Ready OK!]
After pressing option 1, the screen expanded, and a microphone graphic appeared to the right of the speaker graphic.
As the countdown ended, the speaker graphic lit up green once again.
〔Splashhh…!〕
The sound from just now echoed once more.
The sign showing that the sound was being played turned red, indicating it was my cue to imitate that sound.
“Woohooo…!”
─What a cutie lol
─This is how you get the fans excited…
And I perfectly… I tried to copy that sound as closely as possible.
Personally.
No, anyone could tell it was the same, flawless impersonation…!
There’s no way I couldn’t give it 100 points.
[What’s your score?]
As I thought that, a line appeared along with a graph image.
〔Wohooohh…!〕
At the same time my voice replayed, a new graph was drawn, indicating my voice overlaid on the original sound.
[Your score is…]
[3]
[Rank D]
“…Why?!”
─Hahahahahaha
─3 points lol
