NTR.
A trendy new word commonly used to describe situations or genres where someone’s partner gets taken away by another person.
Often seen in games and doujinshi, it’s a genre that’s been surprisingly popular for ages. I mean, who knows why it’s such a hit, but it’s definitely had a long run of popularity somehow.
This is one of those love-it-or-hate-it genres, though let’s be real—it’s more like hate-it-mostly. Seriously, this thing has way more haters than lovers.
And yet, hilariously enough, I ended up playing a game based on this very genre.
[This Warrior Gets Stolen Too Easily!]
A game with a title so NTR-heavy it practically reeks of the genre. What a ridiculous name, right?
I played it anyway. Not because I’m into NTR or anything—heck no, I’m actually more on the “meh” side like most people.
So why did I play it? No big reason.
Just curious after seeing all these folks on the community forums bleeding internally while still unable to stop playing the dang thing.
Turns out this NTR genre game has a massive, super active community behind it. Who would’ve thought?
Couldn’t help but wonder what made it so damn popular.
And then…

“Well, shit. This is my conclusion after much deliberation: I’m screwed.”
I realized that this was my past life—or maybe I got dragged into the game itself. Either way, here I am.
And guess what? The heroines have already been NTR’d left and right, and I’ve long since given both my body and soul to one of the bosses, the Succubus Queen. Wow, just wow.
