In front of me, countless messages appear.
[Storm Mirien dreams of defying heaven. A tower rises.]
[The Queen Who Swallowed the Stars, Asteria, whispers of fate. The void approaches.]
[The Mother of Omens, Karne, sings of ruin. Fear the night.]
[The Blackened Saint, Selene, scatters flames of retribution. The Abyss has opened.]
[…]
“….”
I recognized these messages.
They were the same ones that appeared when summoning characters in the game.
The names were also familiar—characters I had seen only yesterday.
But there was one difference. Unlike before, where they were mere images on a screen, now the calamities were unfolding right before my eyes.
Gurgling sounds erupt.
Between the skyscrapers, a tower emerges, the moon vanishes from the night sky, flocks of crows darken the heavens, and the ground splits open with fiery crimson flames surging forth.
“Damn, this is bad.”
That’s right.
The world has been—roughly speaking—destroyed.
All because of the calamities I ignorantly unleashed.
