Suddenly, there are really a lot of perverts in this world.
The term “pervert” doesn’t solely mean someone who overly reveals their nature…
There are also those who can be called perverts simply because their sexual preferences tend to be unpopular and thus avoided.
So… Given that there are so many people living in this world, it’s natural that each person has different sexual preferences, and among them, there are often individuals for whom the term “pervert” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
While I’m not particularly interested in the sexual preferences of those people, when compared to them, I think I’m quite ordinary.
Probably?
“I might have chosen the wrong concept… Haah…”
Yeah.
There’s nothing more unpleasant than a grimy-looking guy revealing his sexual preferences, but if I don’t say anything, it makes all the explanations I’ve given so far pointless, so I’ll take the risk and speak up.
Do you know what a masochist is?
I think it’s somewhat popular in this area, but I won’t delve deeply into it; to put it simply, you can think of it as a sexual preference for pain, someone who enjoys being abused.
To put it even more simply, it’s just someone who enjoys suffering.
You might wonder what kind of bizarre person finds pleasure in pain, but unfortunately, even someone like me who experiences pleasure from pain is quite superficial in this regard.
When you think about how some people push their tastes to a disgusting level that makes you question whether they’re even human, I’m still on the healthier side.
Anyway…
The reason I’m bringing this up is obviously not to expose my own preferences, but rather as an excuse before talking about a game.
“A God Game is still a God Game…”
With numerous skills and hidden jobs—although many players already discovered them, so they can’t exactly be called hidden anymore.
There’s a single-player open world RPG game called Argen Academy.
It’s a pretty old RPG game that has gained immense popularity, where you create a character, choose a job, cultivate that job freely, team up with people in the academy or around the map, and ultimately combat the Demon King who seeks to destroy the world—a typical growth game.
Delving into the reasons for this game’s success would take a while, so let’s skip that. In any case, I cleared this game with all jobs, achieving an incredible level of freedom.
Still unsatisfied, I wondered if there might be a more fun way to play, and that’s when the idea of concept play hit me.
Concept characters… Isn’t that intriguing?
And that concept emerged from the sexual preference that has both tormented and delighted me throughout my life.
For my first concept play, I created a character that weakens the more it gets hit, and thus, I played without getting hit at all.
That’s not contradictory, right?
You might wonder why I didn’t choose to be a tank, the one who takes the most hits, considering I just said I love suffering.
The reason is simple.
While it’s true that I can help the team, there’s nothing fun about just attracting aggro and taking hits with no other skills to use.
The biggest issue is that the game’s AI isn’t that great, so even if I attract aggro well, they can’t deal proper damage.
If you were to ask if it’s strange to like suffering yet find such a situation painful, I wouldn’t have an answer for that…
But I would like you to understand that concept play is a profoundly deep world.
More than that, if I play as a tank, the game takes too long to complete and isn’t fun at all. So what should I do?
If I were to play as a versatile tank who can also deal damage, that wouldn’t align with my concept, so I thought it might be better to choose another job that allows for a more entertaining concept play.
Anyway…
So, I increased my control and created a concept where I weaken the more I get hit, thus I mustn’t be hit at all; I cleared it, but even that felt lacking.
So, while deeply pondering what would be better, I stumbled upon a complete form that could encompass all of this.
This should work…!
I might be able to create the most ideal character I want!
First, of course, I created a female character and advanced to the Saint job.
It’s a pity that as a hidden job, it can only be female, but for me to create my favorite character, this is acceptable.
What happens to the original saint if the hidden job is Saint?
Since I make the choice, I’ll live as an ordinary nun.
In other words, if I don’t choose the hidden job of Saint and opt for a different job, then the default Saint defined in the game story appears in the academy.
She is a dedicated and kind heroine, quite popular, but since some people want to become the saint themselves, you could consider it a form of consideration for them.
In one era, there can’t be two Saints.
Anyway, so… why is a Saint suddenly appearing?
Yes, just by its name, “Saint,” it might seem like a disqualification.
It’s indeed certain that she can selflessly help others, but as for me, I receive no suffering and merely continue my benevolent acts.
At least, that’s how it could be perceived.
However, surprisingly, the Saint, at first glance, seems not to fit that description, but astonishingly passes the masochism test, or even exceeds it.
All healing-related skills that treat others consume my own health, meaning the more I heal others, the more pain I suffer personally.
It’s truly a skillset that seems to embody masochism…!
Moreover, I possess an absolute advantage against the game’s primary antagonist, the Demon, and while it’s not like I lack attack skills, there’s also the fact that I can fight!
Here, I put in various demerits to earn plus points, and then I poured all of that into skills and stats for the concept, completing a character that is the best in history as a Saint, and perfectly suited as a masochist… a character designed for concept play.
It’s regrettable that I don’t suffer abuse from party members or others, but that’s just as well; if I went that far, the game would become too difficult, so I should be satisfied with suffering at the hands of demons or monsters.
While it’s disappointing not to be abused by other party members or people… despite healing others and damaging myself in the process, I push myself to the limit, selflessly and suffering as a Saint.
This can only be described as madness.
Moreover, for the demerit elements to earn plus points, I’ve included blindness and deafness, resulting in an even more pitiful Saint.
In the game, being deaf means I won’t recognize enemies unless I see them directly, and I won’t hear any sounds while playing.
For blindness, my map disappears, and all humans turn into shadows, meaning I won’t know the enemy’s position without hearing sounds, along with an incredible reduction in range, presenting a tremendous demerit, yet it provides ridiculous levels of plus points.
However, even if it grants radical plus points, it’s completely unmanageable for any other job.
You might question whether it can even be considered a game.
Astonishingly, the hidden job of Saint has a passive skill called Divine Blessing that counters the invisibility and inaudibility to some extent, so to aim for the pinnacle of being a Saint is to have this demerit as basic equipment.
It’s perfect in setting, performance, and concept… A character that is literally perfect!
I felt foolish for not having created such a character until now.
“Huuh…”
I feel like I’m on the verge of achieving enlightenment already.
Even though I haven’t played the game yet, it seems like it would be so much fun that my hands are itching.
I’ve heard that if I play as a Saint, the reactions of NPCs in the game will also change.
In particular, when I heal myself, which means I take wounds as the game defines it, the Saint has an incredible life force, so even if I take wounds that would typically kill an ordinary person, I won’t die and can infinitely heal, making the surrounding reactions fantastic!
I’m merely healing due to the suffering I feel from the pain I receive in this situation, yet there are people who idolize me?
What could be better than that as a job!
While I’m not experiencing it directly, that’s the essence of concept play.
Approaching the game as if that character is me—that’s the foundation of concept play.
The unfortunate part is that since this game isn’t multiplayer, unless I share my gameplay online, it’ll essentially be just self-satisfaction.
Well, if I were concerned about such things, I wouldn’t have started this at all.
Part of me also finds it appealing to experience playing the game in this unconventional way.
“It’s about to start…”
Before the job change, all characters begin from childhood.
Well… Since I want the poor, sacrificial Saint to look good, rather than a fully grown adult with ample breast size, a curvy body, and height, I thought it would be better for her to look slightly younger in a fantasy manner, leaning towards cute rather than pretty.
I’ve exerted my character customization skills to make her incredibly cute and invoke a protective instinct in anyone who sees her, so I have no regrets.
I’m going to play this round with this character…!
Without hesitation, I pressed the game start button.
.
.
.
.
.
“Oh?”
And I found myself suddenly seated on the street as a girl.
Moreover, I had become the character I had customized.

The Gimmick-Obsessed Saintess Wants to Suffer
The concept-filled saint wants to suffer., The concept-obsessed saint wants to suffer., 컨셉충 성녀는 고통받고싶다.
Status: Ongoing
A pure-hearted Saintess who constantly dedicates herself for someone else while getting hurt, pushing herself through sacrifice?
What if the truth is that she simply enjoys suffering, wanting to indulge in pain?
I thought it could only be described as truly crazy.
Until I created a Saintess character with the highest divine power in history, incorporating all sorts of drawbacks like being unable to see or hear.
I wanted to play around with this gimmick a bit, but as soon as I made her, I ended up in the game.
As the character I just created.
…
It’s amazing, isn’t it?
