Before the man with gray hair, a massive black dragon was struggling to breathe.
– Kyle.
“Don’t say a word. I will save you, no matter what!”
Kyle gritted his teeth and cast a healing spell.
A massive surge of mana swirled around him.
However, the great wound on the dragon’s belly did not heal.
“d*mn it! d*mn it! I can’t lose you too!”
– No… I was wrong. Kyle. So take my Dragon Heart and move forward.
“Hey, stop with that crazy talk and shut up!”
Kyle said harshly.
“Don’t d*e so easily like Aron and Luna! You’re a dragon! Endure like the great race you are! You d*mn lizard!”
– Kyle… Do you remember when we first met?
He swallowed hard.
Lissinas, with the same smile as back then, spoke.
– We will save the world.
“So we…”
– I’m sorry… for making you bear this alone.
With a rustle, the eyelids closed.

Looking at the lifeless black dragon, Kyle gazed up at the ash-gray sky.
Black rain poured down.
The rain of d*ath that devoured life.
Evidence that the world was hurtling towards destruction.
“Ha ha ha… d*mn it.”
Not even thinking of escaping the rain, Kyle cursed.
Turning his head after pulling the heart out of his companion, he saw a burning tower in the distance.
“Erebus.”
He spat out the name of his enemy as if chewing it out.
“I will definitely k*ll you, even if I’m the last one left.”
The last Great Hero headed to the battlefield.
And…… the world was saved by one man.

“Leo~ Mommy will read you a fairy tale.”
The matriarch of the Flob Family.
Reina Flob approached her one-month-old son.
Seeing her, Deid Flob burst into laughter.
“Reina. You’ve read that fairy tale more than a hundred times already, right? Including during pregnancy, it must be over a thousand times.”
“But Deid. This fairy tale is about my favorite great heroes!”
Reina looked lovingly at her son, who was sleeping soundly in the cradle.
“And Leo loves this fairy tale more than anything. He gets happy every time I read it!”

“Ha ha, that’s real!”
Deid Flob had a look of amazement watching his son wiggle and babble.
With a smile, Reina continued reading the fairy tale.

Finally, the wise dragon Lissinas.
“And so, the great heroes defeated the evil Erebus, and peace came to the world. The end!”
“Abu! Agggg!”
Leo flailed his short arms and legs vigorously.
Watching their son, the couple wore proud smiles.
Seeing his parents, Leo shouted in his mind.
‘Please, just stop reading that d*mn fairy tale!’
It would have been a shock to the Flob couple if they had known.
To think that their newborn child had such a clear mind!
But the more surprising thing was his identity.
Long ago, specifically, 5000 years ago.
He was one of the great heroes who saved the world.
Kyle.
The man who defeated the primordial evil Erebus and saved the world.
Yet, he was the unfortunate man forgotten in the annals of history.
