112 Dekan’s Righteous Lecture
At noon, Tristin City was abuzz with anticipatory chatter.
The streets were filled with a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, and various tourist spots were bustling with people, as though the New Year had arrived early. The lively crowds made the city vibrant.
Many residents who had free time at noon had gathered around places with magical screens to watch the press conference that was about to start.
Numerous locations equipped with magical screens had been reinforced with additional security forces and knight squad members to maintain order.
“Dong… Dong…”
The bell tower struck the hour.
Twelve resonant and powerful tolls, rhythmically beautiful, filled the air.
The screen showed the image had started changing, displaying:
“Tristin City & Happy Group Joint Project!”
Subsequently, the text and image were replaced by a live scene.
A Broadway-style interview-style living room appeared on the screen.
Lord Rampard, the lord of Tristin City, could be seen sitting on one of the sofas, while the smaller sofa opposite was temporarily unoccupied.
Clearly, it was waiting for the key figure of today’s project.
That is, the appearance of the mysterious guest.
Citizens watching began whispering amongst themselves, their expressions filled with curiosity.
“Happy Group?”
Apparently, no one had heard of such an organization.

The lord picked up an official document nearby, his smile becoming even more pronounced.
“First, I would like to announce to everyone officially that Tristin City will become the only city in the world with two top-grade card makers residing in it!”
After saying this, the corner of his mouth curled up, as if he couldn’t contain his joy.
Meanwhile, the contents of the document were displayed on the screen.
It was the personal agreement signed by Dekan and Lord Rampard!
The entire city erupted immediately!
The murmurs coming from the magical screens seemed to mingle and merge into a cacophony above the city.
“What’s going on?”
“Besides Lady Ice Snow Princess, which other top card maker?”
“Could it be that newly promoted, near-top card maker, Dekan?”
“It must be him! Not to mention foreign top card makers coming to Tristin City, other countries could never let a top card maker join Norton Kingdom!”

Such prestige would bring enormous positive effects on the economic development of the city.
Having two top card makers is an almost unimaginable concept!
Because it would be the only city in the current world with two permanently stationed top card makers!
Even when people from other countries mention Norton Kingdom in the future,
Tristin City would be the first thing that comes to mind, rather than Capital City, Hefenlit.
While in this world, there are indeed other countries that have multiple top card makers,
Yet these top card makers’ places of permanent residence are not in the same city.

Everyone originally assumed Dekan’s permanent residence would be the Capital.

But no one expected Dekan to choose Tristin City so decisively!

Dekan and Ice Snow Princess have completely different card making styles, so there won’t be many competitive routes or resource issues.
As long as Dekan himself doesn’t mind often being compared with an Eighth-Class Top Card Maker, there shouldn’t be a problem.
No wonder the lord looks so cheerful today.
The lord continued:
“I’m sure everyone has guessed that the Top Card Maker who will soon reside in Tristin City is Mr. Dekan.”
“Many people may have heard about Mr. Dekan’s miraculous Shadow World challenge experience, and his uniquely stylized magic cards.”
“However, after acquiring Top Card Maker status, Mr. Dekan has never officially sold the magic cards he has made.”
“The first announcement at today’s press conference is about this! The Happy Group, where Mr. Dekan belongs, will also set up its headquarters in Tristin City. It will be the exclusive distribution channel for Top Card Maker Dekan!”

Accompanying the enthusiastic last sentence, the lord pointed at the backstage direction.
With lively jazz music, Dekan elegantly walked out from a door backstage, waving graciously to the audience in front of the screen.
Dekan was wearing the outfit he used this morning to attend the Top Review at Tristin Academy.

Most residents didn’t have any particular thoughts about these opening remarks by Dekan.
Plain old polite words.
However, the reborn followers hidden among the general public felt like they had a fish bone stuck in their throats, wanting to say something but not knowing who to vent to.
How dare you say such things with a straight face!
And without a hint of shame!
After introducing himself, Dekan began to introduce the Happy Group.
