Chapter 118

Chapter 118 – Chapter 106: Would You Like to Help Me?

A boundless expanse of pure white filled the space; a blue-glowing orb floated behind Lin Qi, pulsating irregularly.

Mahito and Ryomen Sukuna stared intently at that pulsating blue orb behind him. Although it appeared ordinary from the outside, they could sense an intense anger emanating from it.

A ball… angry?

“This shouldn’t be your domain, right? What are you up to?”

Sukuna’s face showed rare caution. The situation had exceeded his expectations, especially when he sensed a threat that could jeopardize his own life from the orb.

Even in peak condition, he could be killed by this bizarre orb.

The gap between dimensions was vast and insurmountable, irrelevant to curse energy or techniques.

Lin Qi did not answer but turned to look at the orb behind him: “So, this is Tsukihi your true form.”

He gently raised his hand and placed it on the sphere, feeling its smooth warmth.

The orb rubbed affectionately against his palm, releasing blue halos that gradually merged into the black-haired youth’s body, vanishing.

“I recall I said if I fed you my finger, I’d beat you. Am I right?” Lin Qi turned back to face Sukuna, a playful smile on his lips.

“Hmph…” Sukuna chuckled, defiance in his voice.

Mahito, largely ignored, numbly witnessed Sukuna, revered as the King of Curses, being savagely beaten by the nameless black-haired youth.

The gap between them resembled his own gap with Sukuna: an uncrossable chasm.

After all the shocks from Sukuna and Lin Qi, Mahito felt lost, like trapped in the Void, even too apathetic to try self-rescue.

After what seemed an eternity, time faded in this endless white space. When Lin Qi brought the battered Sukuna towards him, Mahito’s unlit eyes flickered.

“You…”

Before the words escaped, he saw hands draw a line in the air.

Crack!

Thirty minutes of waiting, then a crisp sound as if glass shattered, pulling their focus.

Yukinoshita looked upward. A crack appeared on the black boundary of the Realm of Birth, spreading rapidly until it shattered completely.

The black-haired girl stood abruptly, relieved seeing Lin Qi’s familiar figure.

She felt certain victory, yet worry still crept in.

“Oh! Teacher Lin Qi!” Yuuji exclaimed, then looked past at the headless corpse behind Lin Qi, whose head lay near his heel.

“Mahito…is dead?”

Junpei naturally noticed the body but felt no satisfaction, only emptiness, a heart-wrenching void.

“It’s over.” Lin Qi stated.

He patted the spiritless boy next to him and walked out, followed by Yukinoshita. Only Yuuji and Junpei were left alone.

“Are you okay?” Yuuji asked after looking at Mahito.

“…I don’t know,” Junpei sat, hugging knees, staring blankly at the floor. “Mom died, the murderer is dead, but I feel nothing.”

“Nothing matters anymore, just emptiness,” his head hung low, casting shadows on his face. “I have nowhere to go.”

Instinctively, Yuuji clenched his fist, placing a hand on Junpei’s shoulder, earnestly saying, “Junpei, join the high school! Here you’ll find meaning, and it will surely become your new home.”

“What?”

“There are reliable friends and powerful teachers here,” Yuuji explained. “New friends will help you find a new path.”

Junpei stared blankly, glistening tears welling up.

Sunlight broke through clouds, illuminating them.

Outside, Lin Qi stretched under the sun, bones cracking.

“How do you feel about the murderer of Ooka being dead?” Lin Qi turned to Yukinoshita.

“Not much,” she tucked a strand back behind her ear, whispering, “Even with the murderer gone, life can’t be reclaimed.”

“A long way to go still,” she met Lin Qi’s gaze, her eyes reflecting red gemstones. “A weak person’s world… We have a long journey ahead.”

“Thanks to you, my distant ideals are more real now.” Yukinoshita locked eyes with Lin Qi, sincerity evident, “Would you help me, Lin Qi?”

Seeing her hopeful gaze, Lin Qi smiled lightly, answering.

A summer breeze carried his words away…

End of the battle, the barrier fell.

Soon after, Ijichi arrived at Junpei’s doorstep, relieved at the minimal街区 damage.

Much better than the last fight, less cleanup work to do.

Afterwards, Junpei enrolled at the high school, joining as the fourth freshman.

Tomorrow for reconstruction. The desolate streets at dusk had a different charm.

Amidst silence, the sound of a geta echoed. Mahito’s body had dissipated, but stains persisted.

“Pity Mahito died,” the hair man, Shouji, sensed the residual curse, a scar on his forehead. “I planned to take him in.”

Suddenly, Joudo’s expression shifted. He sensed familiar leftover curse.

“Sukuna’s curse… Has someone released him?”

Without Mahito, plans had to change.

The long-haired man vanished, seemingly never there.

After School:

Becoming a Sorcerer

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Status: Completed
"Ryomen Sukuna? The strongest sorcerer in history? Just a mere mortal born in an era without me." Lin Qi stood opposite Ryomen Sukuna, watching him with an amused expression. "On my left is Little Yukinoshita, a wielder of multiple techniques, effortlessly mastering both the Limitless Cursed Technique and the Ten Shadows Technique. On my right is Big Yukinoshita, who has awakened a unique modern technique, possessing talents on par with mine. And slashing techniques? That's just our basic attack." "So tell me, how will a mere fifteen-finger Sukuna handle this?" Staring at the black-haired young man before him—whose cursed energy felt exactly like his own—Ryomen Sukuna found himself utterly bewildered.
