Chapter 121: I’ll Turn You Back

Chapter 121: I’ll Turn You Back

“Ake. There’s something I must tell you.”

“What is it?”

“The first human I met when I woke up was you. I’m really glad about that.”

Even though he was just a servant I took in during my amnesia, Aierjisi truly felt that rescuing Ake from the ruins and making him my servant was the best decision of her life.

Ake didn’t say anything. He just continued lying on the ground, staring at the ceiling.

“So, Ake. Can you give me a little bit of time?”

Aierjisi sat up and looked at Ake, hoping he could spare her some time.

Although cutting off the contract with Ake now would definitely lead to the death of one of them, at the end of the day, it was just a contract. There had to be loopholes or ways around it. If she had enough time to study this soul contract, she was sure she could find a way to sever her connection with Ake without either of them dying, transforming him back into an ordinary human.

“Okay. I trust you; you’ll definitely find a way. But if you haven’t found a way to turn me back before I mutate into a Blood Clan…”

“When that time comes, I’ll cut off our connection. Don’t worry, if you want to be human, I won’t let you become anything other than that. But if you want to be a Blood Clan, make sure to let me know, okay? It’d be a hassle if I worked hard to find a method only for you to say, ‘Sorry, Aier, but I still prefer being a Blood Clan.'”

“Ahaha…”

Hearing Aierjisi describe that scenario made Ake chuckle. If it really came to that, Aierjisi would definitely be livid.

Maybe by then, she would be angrily chasing after him.

“Are you telling me that after all my hard work, you won’t turn back? No way, you have to turn back today!”

“I can’t wait for that!”

“You two! The Celebration Feast is about to start, what are you doing in this room? Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt.”

Even though the feast was about to begin, Aierjisi and Ake didn’t seem to notice; they’d completely lost track of time. Ailin and Gaia, the hosts of the feast, were too occupied to leave, so they had to enlist Weirafiya and Yaser to help find them.

Having heard from Carl that they seemed to be in this room, Weirafiya opened the door to see what those two were up to.

Then…

As soon as she opened the door, she saw them lying on the floor, gasping for breath. No matter how you looked at it, it seemed like they were doing something pretty scandalous. No wonder Weirafiya reacted that way.

“Wait! Weirafiya, it’s not what you think! Look, my dress is still intact, we didn’t do anything like that.”

“Ah, really? Then what were you two doing, lying on the floor, panting?”

“Nothing much, just a little argument with this fool Ake, and I gave him a good beating.”

“Eh? Is that so? I really feel sorry for your servant then; I’ve never laid a hand on Yaser like that.”

Seeing the bruises on Ake’s face, Weirafiya sympathized with him.

“Miss, you’ve never hit me; you always just set me on fire!”

Yaser chimed in at that moment, which made Weirafiya a bit annoyed. Seriously, why choose now to say that?

“Do you want to try that again? Flames of Judgment?”

“I’d rather not; I don’t want to experience being burned again.”

“As long as you keep your mouth shut, I won’t punish you. Got it?”

Yaser went quiet and obediently closed his mouth. It seemed Weirafiya had her ways of training her servant.

“Anyway, the Celebration Feast is about to start, so what are you two still doing here? Hurry up! Even if you two had a spat, take a break from it!”

After all, this was a feast hosted by Gaia; as companions, they should be attending. Otherwise, it would be disrespectful!

“True. Ake, let’s go. We should still make it if we hurry.”

“Yeah. Let’s go.”

Ake took the Little Princess’ hand and stood up, joining her.

“Ah, I have a feeling Mios is going to blow up when he sees you two in this state.”

“Same here.”

Noticing the dirt on their clothes from lying on the floor, Weirafiya suddenly had that feeling. Yaser beside her nodded in agreement.

“Huh? What’s wrong?”

“Nothing much, but you two should really clean off the dust on your backs. Knowing Mios and how particular he is about girls’ clothing, if you show up like this to the feast, he’s definitely going to lose it.”

“Our backs? Oh, you’re right. We did just lie on the floor. Wait a sec, I’ll use wind magic to clear it.”

Aierjisi paused and casually drew a magic symbol in the air with her right hand.

The moment she finished the drawing, a gust of wind enveloped them, blowing off all the dust and dirt from their clothes.

“How about that? Should be good now, right?”

“Yeah, looks fine. Though a bit still remains, it should be within Mios’ tolerance. We don’t have time to dawdle; the feast is starting soon, and if we’re late, it won’t be good. You can dawdle all you want, but I need to hurry! Yaser, run ahead; I’ll go first!”

Using her fire magic, Weirafiya created a pair of flaming wings and flew off towards the feast hall. Yaser had no choice but to shout, “Wait up, Miss!” as he chased after Weirafiya.

“Those two are really energetic. By the way, Ake, after I beat you up, is your body okay? Can you still run?”

“No problem! Don’t underestimate this adventurer’s body. It was just a little beating; your strength was so light it doesn’t even count as an injury.”

“Is that so? Looks like I’ll need to put in more effort next time.”

“Hey! Don’t joke about that!”

“Oh really? You figured that out so quickly? Then I won’t tease you anymore. Ake, my servant, I now command you to carry me and sprint to the feast hall!”

“At your command, my lady.”

Ake scooped up Aierjisi and took off, sprinting down the corridor, chasing after the main duo.
