The Glittering Dragon’s head swayed to one side, interrupting its heating of the earth. The remaining temperature in the firefield quickly dispersed.
A vertical slash created wind blades that pushed a fiery gust across the firefield, grazing the Glittering Dragon’s head, causing the gold encasing its massive horns to shimmer faintly.
This blow only shook her. Regaining consciousness, the Glittering Dragon slammed her shoulder into the ground, charging heavily towards the Slaying Dragon.
“Such unladylike behavior.”
Jie Jie retreated, steadying himself and biting down on his sword tail.
As the Glittering Dragon’s back approached him with her shoulder, his pupils contracted.
The burning wind rushed towards him, but the heavy golden mountain stopped just before him.

It was slightly off.
That’s the swordsman’s intuition for you.
When the Glittering Dragon lifted her body, the previous tension and successful anticipation released along with the sword tail from his mouth!

The sword tail struck the claw arm that had just stretched out.

This was one of the forms he had drawn through dice rolls over the past year, known as the Guard Spider—a small monster.
Guard Spiders are the larvae and male variants of the large-jawed monster, the Fiery Empress Spider.
Of course, this doesn’t imply anything about being a young husband. Rather, most jaw-monsters are dominated by females, both in strength and ecology.
Female larvae grow normally into Fiery Empress Spiders, while male individuals remain in their larval form throughout their lives, serving the Fiery Empress Spider.

That was the thunderous sound of the Glittering Dragon slamming her shoulder into the ground again before fully lifting her body.
The golden mountain collided with the ground, the shockwave propelling Jie Jie through the air. Without tightening the silk around his body, he landed heavily.
Looking at the slowly rising Glittering Dragon, Jie Jie was grateful for his wise decision.
If he had stayed where he was, he would have surely been finished off by now.
“Continue.”
The Guard Spider broke free from the silk entangling his body, rapidly inflating.

The Spiny Dragon, covered in glowing patterns of anger, roared and raised his horn, charging toward the turning Glittering Dragon.
A scorching whirlwind spun into a straight tornado, pure heat spewed from the mouth of Dì Mǔ Shén, blowing over the Spiny Dragon’s body.
The unshaken Dragon Charge displayed the Spiny Dragon’s steel heart and Jie Jie’s determination to the Earth Mother.

Powerful strength.

She’ll show you under her skirt, hug you with her scorching chest, and even lean on your shoulder to act cute.

The Spiny Dragon’s horn pierced directly into the center of her cleavage, where there was an important organ regulating her body temperature.
However, the horn seemed too short, unable to harm the organ against the mountain-like Glittering Dragon.

Jie Jie blankly bit into a piece of hot gold, chewing it as he watched her unleash terrifying heat energy, melting the earth and disappearing into it.
When the Glittering Dragon left,
“Huh? She ran? Was she scared?”
She must have been shy!
Ignoring the trembling ground, Jie Jie approached the melted hot spring, pondering how he could catch up to her.
Could the Horned Dragon do it?
Until the boiling ground cooled, Jie Jie couldn’t make up his mind.
Regardless of how the battle went, diving into boiling earth and disappearing was hard to imagine.
