Chapter 122 One Hundred and Tenth Day

After hanging up, Hikigaya Hachiman stood there with his phone in hand, dazed.

Until Yuigahama Yui looked at him curiously and asked, “Was that Komachi? Is something wrong?”

“No… Nothing. She just asked me to rush to the supermarket for discounted items.” The fish-eyed youth replied with an apologetic tone after glancing at Yukinoshita Yukino, “I need to head out now, otherwise everything will be gone.”

“Alright.” Yukinoshita Yukino replied succinctly.

“Wow, what a surprise. I never thought little Hiki had such a side. I just thought you were a plain dark boy,” Yuigahama Yuigahama exclaimed energetically.

“Joke’s on you, I’m going to become a househusband!”

Hikigaya Hachiman curled his lips, flashing an ugly smile before bidding farewell to the two and taking his bag and leaving the Service Club.

No sooner had he left the Service Club when his cellphone in his pocket vibrated again. He took out the phone. It was a message from Yukinoshita Snow, containing Lin Qi’s contact information.

A gleam of joy flashed across Hachiman’s eyes. Adjusting his mood, he dialed Lin Qi’s number.

The call was quickly answered, and Lin Qi’s voice came through the speaker, “Come to the rooftop of the Special Building.”

At twilight, the time of the demons arises.

The sunset had completely sunk below the city, leaving only the remaining orange glow that painted the western skies red, while the deep blue night kept spreading until it swallowed every last trace of the light.

As the remaining glow in the classrooms disappeared, the corridors dimmed, relying on faint moonlight for visibility.

Clear footsteps echoed through the desolate corridor.

“Oh wow, this school really does look spooky at night.”

Black-haired girl with bobbed hair wearing traditional sailor and skirt rubbed her arms; black knee-highs wrapped around her slender calves, while another girl with brown curly hair covered her mouth, smirking mockingly.

“But isn’t it Sakaki who suggested coming to explore? And it’s you who got scared first now,” she said.

“Does Eriri feel scared at all?” replied Sakaki.

“Of course not, whatever for? It’s just darker than usual. You’re getting scared because you’re scaring yourself.”

She turned to the girl following behind them and said, “Right, Komachi?”

“Hmm?” Komachi turned around from her view of the city night lights outside the window, “I mean, it’s somewhat novel.”

She grinned, showing off small adorable fangs, “Besides, even though it’s so late there’s no piano sound. It must have been a lie!”

Just as she finished speaking, a melodious piano tune played somewhere in the school building, faintly reaching their ears.

The three girls’ faces froze with amusement gone instantly.

Even Eriri, who previously assured they weren’t scared, tightened her grip around Sakaki subconsciously.

“Is it real… or fake?”

Komachi couldn’t help but tighten her composure; just after declaring the story was false, the piano started playing, which was far too coincidental.

Had the spirits of the ghost story heard her?

“What do we do now?” Eriri asked with a trembling voice, “There really is a piano sound. Should we leave the school then?”

“No! Here we come!”

Sakaki, who initially exhibited fear, became unexpectedly courageous, the excitement flickering in her eyes.

“The piano could only be in the music room. Maybe a student is still practicing there! We should check it out!”

“Hey, no way, it sounds so scary…” Eriri protested half-heartedly; she sought help looking at Komachi.

“Isn’t Komachi eager to get home?”

“Komachi, don’t you want to verify the ghost story?” Sakaki persisted, her eyes shining intensely.

“Me? Decide?” Komachi responded with an endearing expression of slight trouble.

“There, let’s peek then?” she tentatively opened her mouth, “After all, it’s likely nonsense.”

“Yeah!”

Eriri almost leapt up in excitement. Grasping her hand, Sakaki led her towards the music room; Komachi followed suit.

As they approached the music room, the piano sound gradually grew clearer, its melodious notes capturing their attention like the performance of a master pianist.

“You’re right, it’s quite lovely. If a student from school is playing, the school would probably bag many piano competition awards by now.”

Eriri commented on the playing while complaining.

“Perhaps the player is a hidden prodigy student that other jealous students killed. The deceased student roams the music room, luring students closer with its melody to kill them!”

Sakaki whispered in mock gravity, causing Eriri to shudder and prickle on her limbs.

“Stop that! Or I won’t go along!” Eriri muttered unhappily, intending to distract herself with conversation. Instead, she got spooked by her friend instead.

“Okay, okay, I won’t talk anymore.” Sakaki chuckled lightly. Instead of fear, she seemed energized pulling Eriri with her to walk faster.

“We’re almost at the music room, hurry!”

“Hey, stop pushing me while walking so fast, you might fall!” Komachi warned kindly. They quickened the gait to catch up.

Soon, they arrived at the music room’s door.

After hesitating, eventually, Sakaki pushed Komachi forward; she nervously adjusted her skirt, reaching for the classroom door of the music room.

“What?”

Expecting it to be locked, they found it only slightly closed, easily opened upon a push.

In the dim room, several moonbeams danced in thin motes of dust through the glass windows.

Under the moonlight, numerous instruments lay orderly inside, including the legendary grand piano standing quietly in a corner.

They cautiously peeked from the doors inside, heads poking out…

On the soft leather chairs, not a soul was seen.

Yet, the piano keys continued their dance, each note forming a melodic tune.

Suddenly, as if aware of guests, the key stopped and the piano fell silent.

Book Title: Apocalypse Game, I Awakened with a Joke System

Introduction:

With the onset of the apocalypse, monsters rampage, while others awaken with conventional RPG professions as archers, healers, or warriors.

Zhao Nian, however, awakened with the very abstract “Dimensional Achievement System”, gaining corresponding “bonuses” for each unlocked achievement:

Such as;

Speaking: “See mom tomorrow” unlocks: “See mom tomorrow”, granting the passive “Field Marshall’s Zeal”.

Shining a flashlight in a friend’s eyes triggers: “Look out for the eyes”, gaining the abstract “Tactician’s Smoke Grenade”.

Being touched lightly by a girl unlocks: “Bro, you smell nice”, making everyone attracted to you by default.

Zhao Nian: “These achievements are not something you give away.”

The range of achievements is highly unpredictable.

After school, then become a Jujutsu Sorcerer.

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Status: Completed
"Ryomen Sukuna? The strongest sorcerer in history? Just a mere mortal born in an era without me." Lin Qi stood opposite Ryomen Sukuna, watching him with an amused expression. "On my left is Little Yukinoshita, a wielder of multiple techniques, effortlessly mastering both the Limitless Cursed Technique and the Ten Shadows Technique. On my right is Big Yukinoshita, who has awakened a unique modern technique, possessing talents on par with mine. And slashing techniques? That's just our basic attack." "So tell me, how will a mere fifteen-finger Sukuna handle this?" Staring at the black-haired young man before him—whose cursed energy felt exactly like his own—Ryomen Sukuna found himself utterly bewildered.
