Chapter 1250: The Demon Realm is Truly Di Good
The moment Lin Nuo fell, it was like igniting the fuse of war; a great battle was about to erupt.
Meanwhile, the Tianqi Kingdom had completely succumbed to internal betrayal, and Mu Yiting and her companions found themselves with no other options; it was now a fight to the bitter end.
The Handa Alliance had united with the demons of Tianqi Kingdom, their numbers overwhelming, but they dared not rush in blindly. After all, Lin Nuo’s tornado was just too ferocious, carving a path through the demon ranks.
“This human, how is he different from the others?”
“Is he mad? Where did such power come from, standing strong in the demon’s territory?”
“Retreat, everyone retreat quickly!”
The Handa Alliance couldn’t withstand Lin Nuo, as a bunch of demon generals were dispatched, and they quickly fell into disarray, their ranks collapsing.
In addition to this chaos, Ling Meng and Qin Shili were also attacking from the side. Ling Meng was like she had activated a cheat code, slicing and dicing through demon experiments like they were nothing.
Before long, they joined forces with Lin Nuo.
“Master! I’m here!”
Filled with adrenaline, Ling Meng charged forward, but faced with the tornado summoned by Lin Nuo, she dared not rush in recklessly and could only wait outside its range.
However, Lin Nuo didn’t hear her call. The range of the tornado was continually expanding, and the demons who couldn’t escape in time got sucked in.
Surprisingly, this whirlwind didn’t drain much of his Demon Soul Power; instead, it absorbed the power from the trapped demons, growing even stronger.
He began to enjoy the Demon Realm; this was where he truly belonged.
He took back his previous thoughts—he once thought he could be a big villain in the human world, but with such a vast map, he might just be a small fry.
Not now, though; he was destined to be a major villain, no matter where he was, as long as there were no protagonists around.
“Hey, don’t run! Weren’t you all so fierce just now? Why the retreat?”
Lin Nuo split the battlefield, rendering the Handa Alliance powerless.
Originally, they had schemed to send him among the Handa Alliance, only to have it blow up in their faces and unleash a monster upon them, causing their formation to crumble.
“Ha.”
Seeing the demons retreat several miles, Lin Nuo temporarily ceased the tornado.
Pursuing a desperate foe could lead to ambush, risking counterattacks, so he opted to bide his time.
“Master! Ling Meng is here!”
Ling Meng was about to leap into Lin Nuo’s embrace when, to her surprise, he blocked her with a wall of wind.
“Master! What’s the meaning of this?!”
Ling Meng couldn’t comprehend why, given their joyous reunion, Lin Nuo was treating her this way!
Lin Nuo coldly replied, “Stand still.”
Being cautious, he needed to confirm whether this was truly his Ling Meng or if she had been cursed or controlled.
He was unfamiliar with this area, and having suddenly found himself among the Handa Alliance’s troops, it was prudent to be wary.
“Master! It’s me, Ling Meng! I’ve finally made it to you, why are you keeping me out?”
No matter how Ling Meng pleaded, Lin Nuo wouldn’t lower the wind wall to let her near.
At this moment, Qin Shili remained calm, observing from a distance. Now was not the time for joyful reunions; although the Handa Alliance had retreated, their formation was still intact, surrounding them.
Lin Nuo spotted Qin Shili as well and felt somewhat relieved, having thought the diversion might have left her behind.
Behind them, Mu Yiting had also led a group of weaker demons, the last remnants of the Tianqi Kingdom, into battle.
“Lin Nuo, you… I’m sorry for dropping you into this mess…”
Mu Yiting approached the edge of the wind wall, full of remorse, saying, “I apologize for leaving without a word. Now, Tianqi Kingdom has fallen, and our teleportation array has failed; we can’t go back yet…”
“Save the chit-chat until after we resolve this,” Lin Nuo said, clearly irritated. He was not pleased with her sudden departure, but his initial goal wasn’t to come to Tianqi Kingdom to save them; it was to rescue Qin Shili.
Of course, he hadn’t known they would all end up here.
The Handa Alliance still considered retreating, leaving a path for Lin Nuo and the others to escape.
Lin Nuo certainly wouldn’t take it; who knew what these demons planned next?
He’d long stopped using such tactics.
“Is there any way to go back?” Lin Nuo inquired.
“There is, but all the array points we can use have been destroyed by the Handa Alliance, and likely the ones in Tianqi Kingdom as well. They want to seal off all array points for their own use, preventing demons from escaping to the boundary between the three realms.”
Mu Yiting replied, giving Lin Nuo some insight; they had sealed off all the pathways to prevent other demons from fleeing.
So now the only way was to seize back those junctions.
But there was also a dilemma—they might destroy the junctions in the process.
Currently, the Demon Realm wasn’t exactly a safe haven either, with the Handa Alliance retaining the most power.
At that moment, an envoy from the Handa Alliance approached to seek out Lin Nuo.
“What do you want?” Lin Nuo asked.
“Greetings, friend from the human realm, I am an envoy of the Handa Alliance.”
“Mind your words. I never considered you friends,” Lin Nuo replied, not hiding his displeasure.
“I apologize—our earlier actions were indeed offensive. After all, you suddenly fell into our ranks, so we had to take you in for questioning. We are not enemies; killing each other is unnecessary.”
“Sorry, but we are enemies.”
Lin Nuo cut him off, tossing a demon bomb that obliterated the envoy party.
It was essentially a declaration of war, no further discussion needed.
He came here not to form alliances or cooperate but to take them down.
The Handa Alliance was furious; they didn’t need to send envoys for negotiations if they had a way to deal with him.
“Listen up, Handa Alliance! Stop rambling nonsense. If you have the guts, kill me. If you don’t, just wait to be killed by me. Only dogs would ally with you.”
Lin Nuo made his bold declaration, rallying against the Handa Alliance on demon land.
After all, if he didn’t, he’d just end up being enslaved.
The Handa Alliance suddenly received word that their forces were under attack from other demon realm nations and needed support, forcing them to retreat.
The massive army of the Handa Alliance quickly withdrew, and Lin Nuo didn’t pursue them. He could have wiped out tons of lesser demons, but it wasn’t worth it; taking down the big shots was the priority.
Lin Nuo dispelled the wind wall, but Ling Meng didn’t rush forward to hug him. She thought Lin Nuo was upset with her for leaving without a word.
“Master! I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have left without saying anything…”
Ling Meng bowed repeatedly in apology. Lin Nuo was indeed a bit angry, but what could he do? He’d have to forgive her in the end.
After all, she had always been quite loyal to him.
“Speak. Why did you do it? Is there something you can’t tell me?” Lin Nuo asked.
“Master… I… have regained my memories from the demon realm. I… I’m a test subject, not a complete person…”
