<Chapter 1272> Pheromone Monster
The upbeat EDM sound was pounding in my chest like an epic battle anthem.
As soon as I entered the club, I could feel countless eyes on me – mostly female. The women were staring at me, which made the men curious too. They all had that “why is she looking at him?” face, since I was dressed pretty casually.
Park Sooho, who followed me in, was looking around nervously. He’s not the type who comes to clubs often.
“Park Sooho, don’t just accept drinks from random girls.”
“…Because they might have slipped something into it?”
“Nah. You’re just a lightweight drinker.”
“Pfft. It’s not that bad. If anything happens, I can just use mana to burn off the alcohol.”
“Hmph. Sure.”
I replied lazily, already annoyed.
Once you get drunk, it’s such a hassle to use mana to sober up. That’s one reason C-Rank hunters and above sometimes get totally wasted even though they can use mana.
We claimed a table and I scanned the room with hawk-like vision. Not many interesting ladies tonight.
‘VIP rooms would’ve been much better…’
It was Friday night and everything was packed. We got lucky snagging this table.
“U-Uh, Hyung Eugene. Looks like you’re quite popular tonight. All the girls are staring at you.”
“People get their days of fame sometimes. Guess today’s mine.”
Girls started approaching our table. I frowned – another ugly one. She looked kinda cute at first glance, but I’m not fooled by makeup magic. And her figure? Meh.
Just as one group left, another came.
This is a club after all. Young people filled with lust everywhere. The pheromone perfume was working its charm.
‘This one’s not bad… nah, I can do better than this. There must be prettier ones here.’
Rejecting all these girls was getting tiring.
I stood up from the table. Might as well go straight to the dance floor to find someone decent.
“Park Sooho, I’m going to dance… You good?”
“Ah, go ahead. I’ll just drink here.”
Park Sooho was finishing his beer with a newly found sense of melancholy. Despite over 20 girls approaching us, none paid attention to him. Reality was sinking in.
Leaving Park Sooho behind, I hit the dance floor and started grooving. Girls started gathering around me even though I was just moving normally.
None recognized me though.
‘Seems like I haven’t been in front of cameras lately. People really forgot who I am.’
Not that I was ever super famous to begin with. My reputation mainly stays within the hunter community.
“Are you here alone?”
A girl approached, subtly showing off her bra under her unbuttoned blouse. Most guys would’ve pounced right away, but not me.
‘Another ugly one relying on makeup. Her A-cup trying so hard to look like B-cup.’
I stepped back.
“I’m here with friends. Just came to dance.”
“Hmm… Is that so? Let’s see how well you dance…”
The girl moved closer…
He approaches and attempts physical contact. I quickly stepped back.
“Crazy bitch! You smell like fermented skate fish. Get lost!”
“What? This crazy bastard! What did you just say?!”
“I said the stench of fermented skate is overwhelming! You disgusting ragwoman!!”
I shouted with all my strength.
Eyes start to gather toward us. More gazes were on the woman than me. Her face turned bright red. She bit her lips, then turned her body and ran away.
“Sir, please come with us for a moment.”
The guards approached and spoke to me. Not wanting to ruin the night, I obediently followed the guards.
In a secluded spot, I faced three guards. They glared at me while frowning. I smirked and intensified my aura.
“Sir, this behavior in the store is troublesome…”
The guards’ knees hit the ground almost simultaneously. Overwhelmed by my killing intent, their bodies trembled violently. Sweat poured down their foreheads.
I raised my killing intent further as I quietly stared at them. Most club guards are F-rank hunters with embarrassing combat power.
“T-t-that’s enough…”
I dominated the space with mana. The guards, struggling to breathe, gagged. I released my pressure after noticing they’d wet themselves.
“Do you have anything else to say to me?”
“…No, sir.”
I turned my head. A staff member was watching this side with a tense expression. He wasn’t an ordinary employee—I instantly recognized him as probably the security chief.
“As you can see, these guys suddenly had accidents. Can you help out?”
“…You’re an A-rank Hunter, aren’t you? Our guards have caused much inconvenience. As an apology… we’ll guide you to the VVIP room.”
“VVIP room? Is there such a thing?”
A foul smell immediately filled the air upon hearing it. Though curious, I shook my head. This is reality. I decline getting involved in troublesome matters.
“I’m here to have fun. I won’t cause trouble, so don’t interfere.”
“Understood.”
Passing him, I returned to the stage. I moved, enjoying the persistent gazes of women.
A girl caught my eye. She was shaking her brown hair, fully engrossed in dancing. She had a pretty face and an excellent figure. I approached her.
“You dance well.”
Our eyes met. She looked at me and smiled coyly.
“So do you.”
Her voice carried a hint of arrogance, aware of her superior beauty.
Is the pheromone perfume not working?
I boldly stepped closer to her, our collars nearly brushing. She didn’t retreat but instead smiled faintly.
“Do you come here often?”
“I visit occasionally to unwind.”
“To unwind? Did something bad happen?”
“My boyfriend has been ruining my mood.”
“You have a boyfriend yet you’re doing this?”
“There’s no reason not to.”
Before I knew it, we were dancing together in sync. Our bodies subtly touched. Our sweat and breaths mingled. Her gaze on me burned intensely. The pheromone perfume was working effectively.
“Ms. Jea, would you like to take a short break outside?”
“…Sure.”
We exited the club. It’d be insane to handle business in the club restroom.
As I checked nearby motels on my smartphone, Jea grabbed my wrist and pulled me along.
“This way.”
It was an outdoor parking lot.
She seated me in a black SUV and started stripping immediately. Her panties were already soaked.
“Aaaah! Ah!”
The car rocked for nearly an hour.
In total, I slept with five women.
In the car, at the motel, behind the building—we had sex. The one behind the building was thrilling. After relieving our lust, we parted cleanly. They came to the club seeking casual encounters anyway.
8:00 AM.
I left the club with Park Suho, who was passed out drunk. Too lazy to take him home, I dumped him at a random motel.
‘This bastard…’
“Looks like I got rickrolled?”
Pak Su-ho had absolutely nothing on him. Not only his wallet, but it seemed like he lost his smartphone too. To top it off, even his left shoe was missing.
Well, not my problem.
I had just enjoyed a hearty bowl of rice soup at a nearby restaurant and was feeling a little wistful.
“Just this isn’t enough to satisfy me. I want to party more…!”
It was getting close to 9 AM. Time for the clubs to close.
After some thought, I entered a public restroom and launched the Leisure Life app.
[Available Points: 105]
I used 5 points to change my face.
To Kyle’s face from the Bak Hwan world.
“Not bad. This is quite the protagonist-level good looks.”
A face that looked like a prince charming.
With my new face, I pulled out a Spatial Teleportation Scroll from my inventory.
Destination: New York City.
There’s a 14-hour time difference between Korea and New York. So, it was still Friday evening at 7 PM in New York—prime time for fun.
Sssshhhkkk…
I tore the teleportation scroll.
“Let’s go! Fuck Yeah, America!”
Before rushing to a strip club, I decided to visit an old-school bar first. You see them all the time in American movies and dramas, so I was curious.
The bartender was a rather grumpy-looking man. I ordered a beer and quietly observed the surroundings.
Since it was “Friday Night,” the place was pretty crowded. And in the corner, a woman caught my eye. She radiated sadness with every glance.
She wore a brown coat and had long straight blonde hair.
I raised my hand to get the bartender’s attention.
“Master! One Sex on the Beach for that beautiful lady over there!”
The bartender gave me a look like I was insane. I stared back seriously.
He stroked his beard and sighed.
“You might not want to mess with her. For your own good.”
“Will someone kill me if I do?”
“…Maybe.”
“I’m confident in my skills. Give me the Sex on the Beach. I’ll deliver it myself.”
“…I warned you.”
The bartender quickly mixed up a cocktail. His skill was unmatched.
I carried the cocktail over to the blonde princess. Swish. I placed the Sex on the Beach in front of her.
“It’s on me.”
She glanced at me.
I smiled at her.
Right now, I’m a pheromone monster. I was confident I could charm any woman.
“Thanks for the cocktail, but I’ll just take the gesture.”
“Oh no, accepting my heart already? I’d like yours as well.”
“…Um. Not to be rude, but you kind of look like an idiot.”
“Haha. That’s something I hear often.”
“I admire your shamelessness.”
“Oh, what time is it? Where did I leave my watch…?”
“There’s a digital clock on the wall. It’s 7:20.”
“I don’t trust digital clocks. Ah, here it is. My $100,000 wristwatch…”
I pulled the watch out of my pocket and slipped it onto my left wrist. It was my ultimate move to subtly flaunt my wealth. Most women would notice the watch.
“Hmm… Are you serious?”
“…Yeah, it’s a real $100,000 watch.”
“I know. It’s this year’s limited edition.”
“…You seem well-informed.”
Flaunting wealth didn’t work.
She must be rich too. Feeling awkward, I fiddled with my wrist as I thought of my next move. If only I had some pheromone perfume to naturally seduce her.
“Cough. I’m Kyle. I’m visiting New York this time… Hey?”
Her gaze was fixed on the TV behind me. On the screen stood a white man in a suit. A blonde-haired, square-jawed man in his 60s.
A familiar face. After some thinking, I remembered his name.
“Oh. That’s Dick Pussy, who became president three months ago.”
“Dick Pussy? His name is Chuck Boshie.”
The woman said it with a strangely sharp tone.
“Sorry about that. But how can someone’s name actually be Chuck Boshie?”
