Chapter 128: Celestial Mansion, Big Lake, and Bikinis!
Que Ruyi and the gang were completely oblivious to Lin Feng’s current thoughts…
They cheerfully pranced into the passage and stepped into the Celestial Mansion’s realm, eyes wide and curiosity bubbling over.
“So this is ‘Blue Star’?”
“This place is just dripping with spiritual energy! The cultivation secret realm of my Jade Pool Sacred Land doesn’t hold a candle to this!”
Que Ruyi sighed, somewhat amazed, mentally gasping at the intensity around her.
Outside, they could feel the rich spiritual energy, but stepping into it was like diving headfirst into an ocean of essence.
Ye Qingge’s eyes sparkled as she said, “Plus, you can comprehend the Great Dao faster here—it’s like clarity levels skyrocketed!”
To a cultivator, this place was basically paradise on earth!
Qing Dai’s heart raced; here, she felt like she might really have a shot at taking down tenth-tier demonic beasts!
And there was another perk to all this spiritual density—it made generating the coveted celestial milk much quicker. She glanced down and inwardly thought, “Hmm, a bit more, but last time I overdid it.”
“Here, I should be able to replenish pretty soon!”
Purple Paulownia Great Emperor’s eyes glimmered as he gazed at a massive nearby lake.
A lake? Not exactly the most thrilling sight…
But this lake was different; the water gleamed golden, shimmering like a treasure trove, bursting with thick, liquid spiritual energy.
It hosted plenty of strange fish too!
Que Ruyi and the others noticed the lake, shock dawning on their faces. “The fish in this lake are legendary! They’re supposed to be long extinct as per ancient texts!”
“There’s the Illusory Dragonfish and even the Seven-Colored Glazed Serpent. These are some seriously rare demonic beasts!”
Qing Dai looked closer, subconsciously gulping down her saliva.
Being a beast herself, More of these top-tier bloodline fish would do wonders for her—maybe even push her chaotic bloodline to the next level!
However, after a good look around, she furrowed her brow, puzzled. “This lake looks like it’s been sculpted; it doesn’t seem natural. Could these fish be someone’s private stock?”
“Is it Lin Feng’s doing?”
The others nodded in agreement; it was a definite possibility.
But just then, Lin Feng arrived, having closed off the passage to the Celestial Mansion. He floated over with a grin, saying, “Not me! It must be the work of the mansion’s previous tenants!”
He glanced at the colorful fish, thrilled, and chuckled, “Heh, that poor sap really did us a solid; these beauties are top-notch!”
The girls exchanged glances, curiosity piqued. Who exactly was this previous resident? Peddling rare varieties of fish like pets? That takes some serious chops!
After a brief moment of silence, Ye Qingge inquired, “So, what’s next for us?”
The others turned to Lin Feng, their eyes questioning.
Now that all the Celestial Mansions were unified, and they were the leaders of their respective factions, being outside of the Nine States was a pretty odd look.
Time was of the essence, and they needed to hasten their plans—everything rested on Lin Feng’s shoulders.
Lin Feng’s expression turned serious as he surveyed the glittering lake. “How about we all take a bath first?”
He paused, then added, “I’ve crafted a few bikinis from Ice Silk Thread and haven’t had the chance to let you try them on.”
Que Ruyi’s face turned crimson as she retorted, “What are you talking about?! You really think now’s a good time for a bath?”
She thought to herself, ‘How embarrassing!’
Ye Qingge shot her a glare, thinking, ‘With all these people around, how can I keep my Empress dignity if I strut around in a bikini?’
Purple Paulownia kept quiet.
But Qing Dai, on the other hand, perked up with curiosity. “What’s a bikini? Is it pretty?”
All three girls turned to her, eyes widening in disbelief, sizing her up for a moment before bursting into looks of bewilderment.
Lin Feng’s eyes lit up as he chuckled, “If you wear it, it’ll definitely look great! It’s practically tailored for you!”
“Really?” Qing Dai’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and she couldn’t help but say, “Then hurry up and let me try one on!”
Lin Feng smiled and waved his hand, pulling out the carefully prepared outfits from his storage ring.
There was every color imaginable!
In the end, Yuan Ruoyu picked a bright yellow one, Ye Qingge grabbed her favorite purple, while the Purple Paulownia Great Emperor settled for black.
Qing Dai chose a light blue one and curiously examined it.
After a moment, her cheeks flushed as she exclaimed, “This style is pretty unique! I’ve never seen anything like it!”
“But is there more? Isn’t this just… the base?”
Before Lin Feng could respond, Ye Qingge pulled her aside and giggled, “That’s all there is—just like that!”
Qing Dai froze, “Huh?!”
As Ye Qingge grinned, her own face turned a shade of red, recalling the first time Lin Feng gifted her a bikini—her reaction was pretty much like Qing Dai’s now.
Looking again at the flimsy fabric in her hands, Qing Dai felt her face heat up like a sunset sky.
“W-What is this?!”
“Isn’t this a bit too little? Can it even cover anything?”
She mentally plotted, realizing it might as well be nothing!
Ye Qingge laughed, “It’s just like that the first time; you’ll get used to it! I was the same…”
She quickly caught herself, switching gears, “Well, aside from being a bit skimpy, it has its perks! And honestly, it really does look great!”
“Ha!”
“You might suspect that guy has hidden motives, but let’s admit it—his taste isn’t half bad.”
With that, Ye Qingge declared, “Alright, hurry up and change! I’m going too; they’re probably waiting for us!”
In a flash, she darted to the side and a moment later emerged in a purple bikini.
Skin as smooth as jade, the purple bikini contrasted sharply, dazzling everyone.
“That guy—where does he come up with these ideas!?” Ye Qingge muttered as she glanced down, unable to hold back a soft curse.
But it wasn’t her first time, so she wasn’t too repulsed, especially since it was just them girls in this secret realm.
Qing Dai lingered behind, suddenly called over by Ye Qingge and the others.
Staring at the minimal fabric in her hands, she took a deep breath.
In the distance, the sounds of Lin Feng and the others splashing in the water mingled with laughter.
“It’s not like I’m the only one wearing this; what’s there to fear?”
Feeling her cheeks ablaze, Qing Dai gritted her teeth and waddled behind a large rock. After a deep breath, she slowly peeled off her outer garments.
Being her first time wearing one, she checked herself carefully.
“Just this much fabric? I might as well go without!”
In her exasperation, Qing Dai mentally scoffed again.
After some fiddling, she ultimately put it on.
She twisted the tiny straps around her back and tied them around her neck, with a daring plunge in the front, revealing an impressive view.
With a slender waist and long, snowy legs on display, Qing Dai held her breath.
After what felt like an eternity, she tiptoed over, not out of shyness—more due to concern about the fragile strings around her neck.
Had she moved too suddenly, the whole outfit might just break loose.
As Lin Feng and the others splashed in the water, they all turned at the sound of her footsteps, their eyes going wide in shock.
