Episode 129: Suspicion
【Let’s do our best in the Territorial War】Mikage Academy Comprehensive Part 842
129: Anonymous Student ID:rABLnLpMj
Isn’t the academy unusually busy?
Did something happen?
130: Anonymous Student ID:+gvw/+66Y
I heard one of our students was attacked by Kisou Academy yesterday.
133: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
They were apparently using illegal weapons.
It’s scary. Do they still intend to go against us?
134: Anonymous Student ID:aewbzUeO4
Is that true?
My senior said the same thing, but there’s no proof, right?
135: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
There’s a video in the previous thread; check it out.
Oh, viewer discretion advised.
It’s pretty graphic.
137: Anonymous Student ID:1nQKvG76I
The victim was a first-year, right?
It’s pitiful since they’ve only been here for half a year.
140: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
137 And I heard they were helping another student?
It’s cruel what they did to someone with such a strong sense of justice.
143: Anonymous Student ID:RirinK58agr
The video definitely showed Kisou Academy uniforms, but could it be someone from another academy?
Nowadays, anyone can blame Kisou Academy, so maybe it was someone provoking them?
146: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
143 But it’s Kisou Academy, right?
Maybe their plan was to attack us before the Territorial War and weaken our forces.
149: Anonymous Student ID:Mx2jPlHqz
I think the same.
They’re truly despicable.
Last time, they even stole another academy’s dungeon.
150: Anonymous Student ID:TjRajp8X7
That makes me so angry.
I had been helped by the student who was attacked this time.
I hope they get better soon.
151: Anonymous Student ID:Su/Rp57KX
The attacked student was one of the top first-years, right?
They were already helping out as a potential future member of the Student Council.
153: Anonymous Student ID:Cjo7kJpY8
151 Their boyfriend is famous for using Demons Gear.
He’s also strong himself, and rumors say he might reach A Rank in the next evaluation.
Plus, she’s incredibly cute.
156: Anonymous Student ID:JLJ3PQxEY
If she’s cute… then it’s even more unforgivable.
157: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
They’ll probably try something during the Territorial War too.
Let’s crush all their schemes and take them down!
160: Anonymous Student ID:X2A3lUL9K
Of course. Kisou Academy is absolutely unforgivable.
163: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
Since not everyone knows about this yet, I’ll inform them.
We can’t just sit idly by after being messed with like this before the Territorial War.
165: Anonymous Student ID:YhcnG2UCK
I’ll tell my friends too.
167: Anonymous Student ID:N4jTIw2NA
I’ll let the underclassmen know.
We need to stay sharp.
171: Anonymous Student ID:l8uBIiT1a
I thought we’d win easily, but it seems we should fight seriously until the end.
174: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
Anyway, since we’ll all be resurrected in the end, let’s aim to k*ll them all.
Otherwise, it wouldn’t honor that student.
177: Anonymous Student ID:i23tbfbE7
Right, we’ll definitely k*ll them.
180: Anonymous Student ID:blHGCuxXs
We’ll annihilate them in the Territorial War!
182: Anonymous Student ID:JYO/jj1kill
Even if they try something during the Territorial War, we’ll definitely win!
185: Anonymous Student ID:CfaMeVEHt
182 Of course!

“Haha, as expected, those who live in comfort are useless.”
The young man chuckled as he closed the window of the Dive Gear bulletin board.
On the upper floor of an abandoned building,
the dingy office where he resided had wind blowing through its shattered windows, ruffling his blonde hair.
His visible eye was bloodshot, as if he’d gone mad.
“Hey, Joe. Is everything going according to plan?”
“…Yeah, Professor. You always sneak up from behind, don’t you?”
“Hahaha, actually, I was preparing tea behind you while waiting for your work to finish.”
When Joe turned around, the professor was setting teacups and a plate of cookies on a table he’d brought in.
The finely decorated tableware contrasted sharply with the rubble the professor used as a chair.
Joe couldn’t help but feel how bizarre the scene was as the professor sat gracefully with a handkerchief beneath him.
(As always, he’s terrifying. And now there’s Nameless, who’s supposedly strong. Our survival has been nothing but a whim.)
Joe had survived as an Arachne for a long time.
His refined instincts told him that he was alive because of sheer luck.
He knew they shouldn’t oppose these people.
He anticipated that if they attacked again like during the First Contact, they would surely be wiped out this time.
“How about some tea together? Nameless seems to be quite busy.”
“If you insist.”
Joe sat across from the professor and drank the tea in one gulp without any ceremony.
“How does it taste?”
“It tastes like gold. Expensive things really are good.”
“Hahaha, I’m glad you like it.”
The professor laughed and refilled Joe’s teacup with fresh tea.
Joe thanked him and picked up a cookie from the plate.
“So, what brings you here today?”
“The plan is approaching tomorrow, right? So, encouragement… or perhaps I simply wanted to enjoy tea with someone.”
The professor smiled and sipped his tea.
Meanwhile, Joe greedily grabbed cookies from the plate and shoved them into his mouth.
“So, how is the Angel working out for you?”
“Not bad. I’ve already tested it on some Kisou Academy and Mikage Academy folks. It didn’t work on the S-Rank guy or the Discipline Committee President. Well, they need to eliminate each other at high ranks, or it would be troublesome.”
“Have you prepared accordingly?”
“Yeah.”
Joe twisted his lips into a smirk.
“They’re idiots. Just give them a little push, and they start talking about righteousness and killing each other. Ugh, those who think they’re in a safe place and judge others are annoying.”
He stuffed several cookies into his mouth and chewed.
Then, without tasting, he washed it down with a gulp of tea.
“We’ll make those bastards who called us useless and discarded us realize. We’ll show them who deserves to survive in this world.”
“…That will be entertaining.”
Joe chuckled softly with amusement.
“Oh?”
Unbeknownst to them, many Arachnes had gathered, drawn by the scent of tea.
Through the broken ceiling, walls with holes, collapsed doors, and shattered glass,
starving undead peeked their heads from every corner.
Seeing this, the professor smiled gently.
“I apologize for the lack of proper amenities, but shall we have a tea party?”
