Chapter 15: Luxurious Initial Ability Panel

Loki’s Divine Room.

A simple yet comfortable space, with nothing but a bed, a chair, books, and a table.

This was a necessary step in the ceremony where a deity bestows divine favor upon their faction members.

Using divine blood to carve sacred runes onto the back of the faction member activates the ability value system. After completing the ceremony, the faction member becomes an LV1 Adventurer and gains unique personal ability values.

During this process, Loki gradually calmed herself while explaining:

“After the ceremony, you officially become my child, part of the family. Do you understand what family means? There will be no thoughts of betrayal allowed. Otherwise, I’ll definitely tenderize you.”

“But… Isn’t the contract unbreakable unless there’s a special reason or the deity agrees? Who can leave their faction?”

“No exceptions allowed, and I will never agree. My faction is just like that. Got it?”

Divine favor can be locked away and hidden.

Since an adventurer’s ability values belong to their personal and factional secrets, there is no obligation to make them public.

The Guild only publishes minimal information about adventurers’ levels and dungeon activity records to serve as growth models without affecting the faction too much.

The systematic panel of divine favor consists of five modules: adventurer level, basic ability values, development abilities, magic, and skills.

When observing a new adventurer’s talent, the first three don’t need attention since they’re always in the initial state. Magic and skills are what should be focused on.

Loki took a sip of water.

Tsk tsk, it’s been a long time since I’ve observed the talents of my rookies like this. Am I actually a little nervous?
