When the Abyssal Wave Dragon realized that the downward tunnel gradually slowed and turned upward, she immediately understood that her opponent had escaped.

The gathered water was scattered, directly colliding with the Abyssal Wave Dragon, forcing her to retreat, leaving behind streams of water to restrain Jie Jie’s steps.
The Spiny Dragon leaped, stomping heavily, causing water to splash explosively.
Two heavy stomps freed Jie Jie from the water entanglement, landing heavily on the Abyssal Wave Dragon, claws tearing through the water, sinking into flesh and blood.
The Abyssal Wave Dragon slipped away using the floodwater, turning around and spitting out a massive water ball that exploded on the Spiny Dragon.
After consuming the water in the soft coral, the battle between both sides became an exchange of attacks.
Sometimes they would spray breath weapons that barely harmed each other’s physical forms, sometimes closing in to fight with wings and claws.
At this moment, the Abyssal Wave Dragon’s structure with two wings and four legs showed an advantage. She could use her wings to block the Spiny Dragon’s wings, then rapidly flapping her small hands to break off many spikes from Jie Jie’s shell.
She flapped while he bit and collided.
Jie Jie slightly retreated, charging again with his horn, only to be stopped by the Abyssal Wave Dragon holding his head with both hands, her large wings stretching out with tentacles tightly wrapping around Jie Jie’s body.

The Spiny Dragon roared in pain, exploding with strength, his spread wings breaking free from the Abyssal Wave Dragon’s bindings. With a thrust of his head, his horn pierced directly into her chin.
“Wowowowaa—”
The Abyssal Wave Dragon wailed, closing her mouth.
Her cries sounded like a little girl crying, quite pleasant, but in battle combined with her appearance, it only incited the primal urge for destruction in living beings.
In the evenly matched battle, the Abyssal Wave Dragon’s totem unlocked, progressing with the damage inflicted by Jie Jie.
But advancing further proved difficult. In the humid environment, the Abyssal Wave Dragon’s water-bound state never ceased, and after being hit earlier, she avoided entering the Lightning Release state to consume surrounding moisture.

The water binding broke, leaving a wound across half her face on her flattened head.
The mixture of water and bodily fluids sealed the wound, her tiny eyes flashing with confusion.
In her eyes, the Flying Dragon inexplicably transformed into a Beast Dragon, swinging its long, sharp tail repeatedly towards her.

Confusion quickly turned to anger; that first slash nearly injured her eyes.
The jet of water spewing from the Abyssal Wave Dragon’s mouth was split by a blade, but cutting water only makes it flow harder.
The water falling on either side of her body, when her palms slapped hard, surged towards the Slashing Dragon’s legs.
It was harder for the Beast Dragon to maintain stability compared to the Flying Dragon kind. After several slashes, Jie Jie also tumbled to the ground, transforming back into the Spiny Dragon.
By this point, both combatants had expended much stamina. The Abyssal Wave Dragon panted heavily as she moved backward.
Jie Jie was also panting, lightly jumping to break through the waves she pushed back during her retreat.
With numerous scars, the Abyssal Wave Dragon lowered her head again, inhaling the gathered water storm, raising her body and slamming it down heavily, all the water beneath her transforming into a massive wave heading towards Jie Jie.
And her figure disappeared behind the great wave.
“Escaped.”
Jie Jie didn’t pursue her. His body was often covered and entangled by water, making movement consume even more energy than usual.
Within the range of the two dragons’ battle, all other creatures had fled. From high altitudes looking down, large-scale soft corals were detonated by the Abyssal Wave Dragon to extract moisture during the fight.
The residual water formed deep pools.
The old soft corals had died, but their coral eggs would quickly grow in the hot springs “blessed” by this master of currents.
