Chapter 161: 149th Chapter – Leave Before Ten

Tokyo, Shinjuku.

The assembled jujutsu sorcerers swiftly mobilized and soon began to converge around the perimeter of the curtain. 90—

Nanami, wearing a white suit with goggles, slicked back his blond hair into a mature hairstyle. Accompanying him were three individuals: Itadori Yuuji, Yoshino Junpei, and Fushiguro Megumi. They arrived at the scene aboard Ijichi Kiyotaka’s vehicle, leading the charge.

“Ah, Sensei Goujo!”

Itadori spotted the man floating in midair and, surprised, pointed upwards at the white-haired figure.

Satoru Goujo descended slowly to the ground from his floating position. Nanami began asking questions, “What’s the situation here?”

“It’s impenetrable, see.”

Goujo reached out towards the curtain ahead, but the moment his fingers touched the barrier, electric sparks flashed, pushing his hand away.

“Hmm?”

Before he finished, Itadori tilted his head curiously, “But I just went through…”

Everyone turned their heads to see him, realizing that Itadori’s right hand had already penetrated the barrier while he stood there with a stunned expression.

“Genuinely able to go through,” Megumi attempted as well, his hand similarly slipping through the barrier unobstructed. His brow creased in thought. “This barrier… refuses entry only to Sensei Goujo?”

“It seems so,” the corner of Goujo’s mouth lifted. “Nanami, please lead the students through first. I’ll be along shortly.”

“Alright.” Nanami nodded and proceeded to guide the three students into the barrier.

A mild obstruction was felt; upon passing through the black curtain akin to water, they were immediately taken aback by the sight.

Blood-soaked streets, corpses piling up like debris, and cursed spirits preying on fleeing humans, reminiscent of a living hell.

“This is too inhumane…” Itadori’s pupils narrowed sharply, anger igniting within him, boiling his blood.

Pungent and nauseating scents of blood rushed past, causing all three students to feel sick, Yoshino Junpei especially bent over, vomiting uncontrollably.

Even Nanami furrowed his brows deeply.

Only once the trio slightly adapted to the surroundings did Nanami murmur, “Let’s go.”

They darted forward swiftly.

“Jade Canine·Muddled!” Megumi formed seals with both hands, summoning a giant gray-wolf familiar spirit.

After the destruction of Jujutsu Ten Shadow Technique’s seals, their powers get dispersed to other familiars. Megumi’s White Jade Dog had been destroyed by that special-grade cursed spirit in the reformatory and the power transferred to its counterpart, Black Jade Dog, evolving into Jade Canine·Muddled.

Not only was it larger, but its vicious fangs protruded beyond its wolf’s maw, sharp claws arched, reflecting a chilling light ready to tear apart any foe.

Though it still wasn’t as large as Lin Qi’s black and white Jade Canines.

Muddled jade canine soared out like lightning, claws carving through air and emitting chilling arcs as in an instant, it tore into a cursed spirit chasing after some citizens.

The creatures pursuing them were dispatched, yet they fell into the clutches of an even more fearsome monster.

Some folks collapsed in fear at the sight of the colossal wolf before them until Nanami’s group intervened.

“No, don’t kill me!”

“Spare me! My children…!”

Itadori crouched, forcing a smile despite the circumstances. He tried to soothe, “We’re here to rescue you.”

“Really…”

Their faces showed relief but streaks of tears persisted.

“Pleasant escape from this dangerous street,” Megumi stepped forward.

The middle-aged man pleaded for mercy and survival. The barrier trapping them was not visible, preventing escape from Shinjuku, trapping them amidst terrifying monsters.

“There’s no exit? Just a single layer?” Junpei questioned.

“No, two. The first keeps out Sensei Goujo, the second traps regular people. Likely a one-way barrier.”

Nanami pushed his glasses up, deducing the situation.

Looking at the quivering ordinary citizens, he heaved a solemn breath, “Our mission is to purge as many curses as possible. But leaving them behind… That wouldn’t be safe either. Bringing them would only burden us…”

Their expressions changed again at the prospect of abandonment.

“Even then, we can’t just leave them!” Itadori protested eagerly.

“Calm down, student Itadori; I don’t plan on abandoning them.” Nanami pinched his brow, suggesting, “Megumi, your familiar will scout for curses. We need to station these people safely near the barrier’s edge until Sensei Goujo breaks through.”

“A guardian must stay with them.”

“I can do it,” he declared before anyone else.

“I’m better equipped… leaving me is more appropriate.”

Junpei spoke gravely, touching a nerve with Itadori.

“Alright, then this task falls to you, student Yoshino.” Nanami spoke succinctly. “Trust him, he’ll protect you.”

“New arrivals should follow him too upon salvation. You must prepare.”

Yoshino nodded sternly: “Understood.”

“Please follow me, I’ll keep you safe.” Yoshino summoned his jellyfish familiar Shizuri and instructed the civilians to follow.

As they left, Nanami directed at Megumi, “Let’s move, student Fushiguro.”

“I know.”

Megumi summoned a hawk familiar named Nue, soaring aloft while Muddled sniffed the air, darting off.

“From my experience, most nocturnal ghosts are grade three with a few grade ones. Numerous but weak. To ensure efficiency, let’s split up,” Nanami instructed.

“Itadori moves with Fushiguro. If a major curse appears, retreat and call in our aid.”

“I got it!” Itadori clenched his fist, anger already in his eyes.

Megumi nodded and sent Nue and his evolved canine partner to scout for nearby spirits, guiding them toward Nanami.

Adjusting his tie, wielding a cleaver ensnared tightly by bandages, he dashed forward with the canine.

By ten o’clock, it must end.

After school, becoming a jujutsu sorcerer.

Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Status: Completed
"Ryomen Sukuna? The strongest sorcerer in history? Just a mere mortal born in an era without me." Lin Qi stood opposite Ryomen Sukuna, watching him with an amused expression. "On my left is Little Yukinoshita, a wielder of multiple techniques, effortlessly mastering both the Limitless Cursed Technique and the Ten Shadows Technique. On my right is Big Yukinoshita, who has awakened a unique modern technique, possessing talents on par with mine. And slashing techniques? That's just our basic attack." "So tell me, how will a mere fifteen-finger Sukuna handle this?" Staring at the black-haired young man before him—whose cursed energy felt exactly like his own—Ryomen Sukuna found himself utterly bewildered.
