Chapter 163: Who is this little girl?
Ming’s spiritual awareness exited the White洼Secret Realm.
When Ming regained his senses, he saw Shen looking at him with an oily mouth.
In front of her, the giant pig leg had already been devoured, leaving only a large bone, not a single shred of meat left on it.
“Haven’t you eaten enough yet?” Ming asked.
Shen nodded.
“Then wait a bit more, this one isn’t roasted yet,” Ming said.
Shen understood and nodded again.
Ming looked at the little girl’s stomach; after eating that whole pig leg, it didn’t even bulge.
What is her stomach made of?
Can her stomach hold all that meat?
Ming roasted another pig leg for Shen to eat. Even if she hadn’t eaten enough, it was fine since the wild boar weighed over two hundred pounds and would just be left here otherwise.
After finishing two pig legs, Shen’s small belly finally swelled up, and she let out a satisfied burp.
Ming also ate a little simply.
“Come, I have something for you.” After eating the roasted meat, Ming beckoned Shen over.
Shen looked at him cautiously and then carefully walked over.
Seeing Shen’s expression, Ming wanted to laugh.
If I wanted to harm you, I would’ve poisoned you already. You were eating so happily before.
Finally, Shen came in front of Ming.
Ming took out a flower tattoo from his small Cosmos Bag.
This red flower tattoo was in the shape of a plum blossom, but unlike ordinary ones, this one resembled a temporary tattoo.
Ming stuck the flower tattoo on Shen’s forehead, pressing it hard, poking it a few times, then peeled off the film, leaving a plum blossom stuck right on Shen’s forehead.
Shen looked upward, wanting to know what Ming had done on her forehead, but she couldn’t see anything, so she started rubbing it with her tiny hands.
“Don’t rub it off,” Ming pressed down Shen’s small hands, “The thing I stuck on your forehead will protect you. When you can protect yourself, if you don’t like it, you can wash it off with spiritual energy.”
“Oooh…” Shen seemed to understand and nodded.
“Alright, it’s late, go to sleep now,” Ming told Shen, closing his eyes to meditate.
Actually, Ming really wanted to sleep.
Even though Ming had reached the Cavern Realm and no longer needed sleep, sleeping was still the best way to restore physical strength and spiritual energy.
But since Ming had to keep watch, he couldn’t fall asleep, so he could only meditate.
Shen sat in front of Ming, seeing him with closed eyes motionless, she looked left and right, then stretched out her hand and gently poked Ming’s knee.
Ming ignored her.
“Awooo…”
Perhaps feeling too bored, Shen crawled to a corner, curled up, and fell asleep like a little animal lacking security.
Nothing happened throughout the night. The next morning, when Ming opened his eyes, his spiritual energy and physical strength had recovered quite a bit.
At least if he encountered a monster beast, he wouldn’t be completely defenseless.
Ming looked at the little girl curled up in the corner of the cave and went over to wake her up.
But as soon as Ming approached, Shen’s body curled tighter, her ears twitched.
“Wake up,” Ming patted her shoulder.
“Awooo!”
“Zzzz!”
Ming, without any guard, was suddenly turned around by Shen, who bit into his arm with fierce eyes.
Ming’s blood dripped continuously.
As Shen gradually became more conscious, her pupils became clearer.
Shen blinked, released her teeth, stepped back two steps, squatted down, lowered her head, and looked very guilty.
“Let’s go,” Ming didn’t blame her, stood up, and walked toward the cave entrance.
Shen looked around hesitantly but eventually followed Ming.
Shen looked up and saw the scab formed from the wound she had bitten on Ming’s arm.
Upon reaching the mountain foot, Ming rested for a while on a stone shaded by tree branches, seeing Shen sweating profusely.
Ming handed her the water gourd, Shen drank a few sips, then Ming took it back and drank himself.
But as Ming tilted his head to drink water, he felt an itchy, wet sensation on his arm.
Ming turned his head and saw Shen sticking out her tongue, licking his arm continuously.
“What are you doing?” Ming asked.
“Awooo…” Shen gave a sheepish cry, pointing to the wound on Ming’s arm.
Ming understood Shen’s meaning.
This little girl seemed to be apologizing to him, licking his wound like a little animal.
“It’s fine, I don’t blame you,” Ming said, “but you need to control your beastly nature a bit more, or it will be troublesome walking among humans.”
“Oooh…” Shen nodded, lowering her head.
“Are you rested? We still have a long way to go,” Ming asked.
Shen nodded quickly, jumped off the stone, and hopped a few times saying “Hmph hmpf hmpf” to show she was full of energy.
Ming smiled and continued leading the little girl towards a city near Baiwa City.
“Brother Xu! Brother Xu!”
Just as Ming hadn’t walked far, he heard a shout coming from the sky.
Judging by the voice, it seemed to be Yu Wen Xi and Miao Feng.
Ming was about to respond when he immediately felt a powerful spiritual consciousness covering the sky.
Then, that powerful spiritual consciousness locked onto Ming.
“Sssss!!!”
Standing beside Ming, Shen also felt the powerful spiritual consciousness, tensed up, bared her teeth, growled lowly, and her hair stood on end.
“It’s alright, they’re friends,” Ming patted Shen’s shoulder and calmed her down.
“Brother Xu! We’ve finally found you!”
“Is Brother Xu alright?”
Yu Wen Xi and Miao Feng descended from the sky with a middle-aged man.
“I’m fine, being alive is enough,” Ming smiled, looking at the middle-aged man, “and this gentleman is?”
“This is the governor of Qingyang Jun —— Wang大人,” Yu Wen Xi introduced.
“Greetings, Wang大人,” Ming bowed respectfully.
“Hahaha, it’s good that the Zhuāngyuán Láng is fine, otherwise, I wouldn’t know how to explain to Your Majesty.”
Wang Jie sighed in relief upon seeing Ming still alive.
Ming was the future son-in-law of Wu Kingdom. If anything happened to him in his jurisdiction, he would surely be blamed by His Majesty.
“Lord Xu, who is this little girl?” Wang Jie looked at Shen.
This little girl was definitely human; he didn’t sense any demonic aura, but why does she have a pair of horns on her head and dragon-like vertical pupils?
