Since its premise involves borrowing the power of stars, it’s considered one of the specialists for dealing with demons.
However, demon-related episodes end around the second year.

The third year is more like an DLC concept, where you mainly increase heroines’ affection and explore various places. Therefore, acquiring Star Magic in the third year is not very useful.
After all, since the final boss is already defeated, using Star Magic for additional demons seems unnecessary. It’s better to use this time to improve other skills.
Then, is Star Magic really an useless relic? Thankfully, no, it’s not.
Because there’s a flaw in Star Magic that makes it exceptionally useful.

Of course, to draw a constellation stably, you need at least A+ rank magical power.
Even so, unless you’ve officially learned Star Magic, it’s a one-time use ability, difficult even for a third-year with S+ rank magical power.
However, since Star Magic contains many skills that drastically reduce story difficulty, many users memorize how to draw constellations beforehand.
