Chapter 195: This is roasted fish, you can eat it!
He turned his head and looked at the porcelain bowl still lying on the ground.
Whether out of fear for the Terror Tyrant that had defeated him in one move or dread of the Spiny Dragon with a disfigured face but sharp gaze, the Male Fire Dragon was trembling lightly.
Jié Jié paid no attention to the grievous wound on his own head, only scanning the porcelain bowl up and down.
With his thick hide, being thrown around a bit wasn’t an issue when he got back up, but if a young Male Fire Dragon were tossed, they’d be all disoriented and lose their ability to fight back.
The leg armor of the Fire Dragon had been deformed by biting, and there were some corrosion marks from the Terror Tyrant’s saliva. The claws looked painful.
The outer wing bones and one inner bone were bent slightly, but thanks to the shell’s resilience and the tension of the wing membrane, they hadn’t broken at terrible angles.
As Jie Jie approached the porcelain bowl, his form gradually shrank until he transformed into a Sky Dog Beast pinning down the rising Male Fire Dragon.
Gently stroking the porcelain bowl’s head, he soothed it not to move around.
Tracing up the leg from the claw, which seemed somewhat dislocated, Jie Jie didn’t dare to reset it rashly; waiting for the pain to subside would allow it to naturally realign.
There might be internal injuries inside, but judging from the porcelain bowl’s behavior, it didn’t seem like serious internal damage.
After all, it was a Fire Dragon, and the porcelain bowl shouldn’t shatter like actual porcelain upon a fall.
In the barren mountainous region, there weren’t many trees visible, and the ones that existed couldn’t withstand the Male Fire Dragon’s restlessness. He picked suitable pieces from nearby Dragon Crystals and extracted some tough tendons from the Terror Tyrant’s corpse.
Spreading apart the porcelain bowl’s wings, he used the long crystals combined with the tendons from the Terror Tyrant, piercing small holes through the wing membrane to tie and stabilize the two broken wing bones.
The porcelain bowl let out a slight cry of pain but didn’t struggle at all, meekly allowing Jie Jie to work.
The other Fire Dragons observed his actions from the side, seemingly pondering the significance.
The injury was stabilized, but the porcelain bowl would have some inconvenience moving for a while.
Moreover, food, something they hadn’t really cared about before, became an issue. The injured porcelain bowl needed more nutrition to recover.
In this desolate mountainous area, all that could be seen were Acid Winged Dragons, which didn’t have much meat.
Meanwhile, the stench emanating from the Terror Tyrant’s corpse made it unwelcoming as a meal, and the Rocky Thief Dragon had already fled earlier.
Speaking of the Terror Tyrant, Jie Jie also wanted to find water to bathe. Microorganisms could attach to the surface, decomposing blood and even odor molecules, but he’d still feel uncomfortable.
Ancient Tree Forests were everywhere, but here they were exceptionally rare.
After taking care of the porcelain bowl and settling the Fire Dragons in place,
Jie Jie transformed into a Fire Dragon and began climbing higher to search for food.
But looking at numerous caves in the barren mountains, he realized the main source of meat would still be various Large Monsters underground.
Flying into the massive hollow within the mountain, he saw streams of lava flowing through the rock layers. It was the first time he’d seen so much lava, but no matter how you looked at it, lava couldn’t serve as a water source.
Continuing to fly downward along the lava flow, his eyes scanned around until they locked onto a lump of magma floating in the lava lake.
Through the powerful dynamic vision of the Fire Dragon, that lump of magma had just quivered slightly.
Could it be a Magma Dragon active in the lava?
Though its name doesn’t include “fish,” the Magma Dragon is indeed part of the Fish Dragon species, with a physiology highly similar to the Mud Fish Dragon.
Unlike the Mud Fish Dragon which moves in mud swamps, the Magma Dragon usually operates in lava, covered entirely in black molten rock, resembling a burnt Mud Fish Dragon, earning it the nickname of “roasted fish.”
In the Dragon Crystal Land, the Magma Dragon might not be able to fight against anyone, but covered in hard and scorching magma and living in a lava pool, capturing it is more difficult than most monsters.
It must be subdued in one blow; otherwise, it will be troublesome if it escapes.
“Grunt!!!”
Jie Jie continuously emitted shrill roars in the air, trying to provoke the Magma Dragon.
It worked well, as the Magma Dragon raised its upper body and started spewing lava at him.
The hot lava landing on his body sizzled, and upon realizing it could damage his shell, Jie Jie quickly shook it off, then feigned weakness after being hit.
One wing drooped, and he wobbled and fell towards the ground from the air.
Though exaggerated, the Magma Dragon, not a cunning monster, jumped onto the shore dumbly and charged straight at him.
Jie Jie flipped over and immediately pinned down the charging Magma Dragon.
It was very hard, unlike the easily penetrable dry mud on the Mud Fish Dragon. This layer on the Magma Dragon was solidified magma, and his claws would bounce off and wear down when scratched against it.
Facing heavily armored units, blunt strikes should be used. With a strong kick from both legs, he jumped and landed with the heavy stomping of a Spiny Dragon.
Although the Magma Dragon struggled and writhed, Jie Jie could adjust his landing points accordingly. The Magma Dragon, having just stood up, was stomped down again.
Its magma was scorching, so he jumped to cool off before stomping down again.
Stomp, stomp, and keep stomping, the Magma Dragon was unable to stand up, and cracks on its magma-covered shell kept expanding.
The Magma Dragon’s struggles grew more intense. During the gap between the Spiny Dragon’s stomps, its tail slapped the ground and rebounded, propelling itself toward the lava pool.
Just one step away from the lava pool, the Spiny Dragon’s stomp landed on the Magma Dragon again.
Realizing the Magma Dragon’s intent, Jie Jie didn’t jump again. Instead, he plunged his claws into the gaps in the magma, grabbed it firmly, flew up, and threw it far away from the lava.
After another series of struggles, the Magma Dragon finally stopped resisting, its magma cooling down. He carried it out of the underground hollow.
Back and forth took only about ten minutes, but the bloodstains, scattered remains, and empty sky indicated the tragedy that befell the Acid Winged Dragon flock.
Throwing the Magma Dragon in front of the Fire Dragons, this strange-looking stone fish clearly left them confused as they glanced at Jie Jie.
They seemed to doubt whether he had burned the fish?
Or perhaps they were offering comfort for his failed hunt.
“It’s edible!”
Jie Jie growled discontentedly, driving his claws into the cracked black magma and forcefully prying it open, revealing the golden scales beneath, which weren’t as hard. He bit into it first with his damaged jaw.
The taste and texture weren’t great, and there were plenty of bones, but it was better than the smelly Terror Tyrant behind.
Seeing him only able to bite sideways with his damaged jaw, the Fire Dragons showed even stronger emotions in their eyes.
Taking a random bite, Jie Jie stepped aside, letting them eat first before going together to look for truly delicious food.

When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
