The main stage of the game <Tyr One> is a school. Its name is Han-yul Military Academy, located in Gyeonggi Province.
You can roughly think of it as a hunter training school.
Among its students is the protagonist, Arna Kristin Dotir, who showcases exceptional skills, defeating numerous monsters and ultimately being celebrated as a true hero by the end.
That’s the main scenario of this game.
Of course, it’s not about beating up monsters for a lifetime. Otherwise, what fun would the game be?
Secret organizations lurking around the world and various villains envious and jealous of Arna are also set to make appearances.
“Come on! Who in the world would suggest a practice evaluation on a Saturday morning?”
The thing is, one of those villains—it’s me.
For the sake of fulfilling my duties as the villain, and to protect my precious hair roots, I’ve come to the outdoor stadium.
By the way, I’m late. I got lost.
“Deliberately scheduled for this time, right? Knowing I sleep a lot! Please, just let me get some rest on weekends! Choooom!”
Ever since we started, this woman has been yelling from across the way.
Her dazzling blonde hair and sapphire-like beautiful eyes. The protagonist of <Tyr One>, Arna Kristin Dotir.
She must’ve rushed out so early in the morning that her hair is still slightly damp.
—Oh, here comes Arna Kristin Dotir! Is the recording going well? Don’t miss a single moment!
The spectators’ section was bustling with people. Uniformed students, journalists with cameras, and a few scouts sent by guilds could be seen.
What? It’s a Saturday morning, so why are there so many people? Isn’t this more crowded than the average attendance at the Gocheok Dome?
“Hey!”
While I was distracted, Arna shouted.
“Don’t you get tired of this? Every time you see me, you torment me, irritate me, and now it’s time to stop, isn’t it?”
There wasn’t much I could do about it this time.
Hair must be protected while it still can.
Once it’s all fallen out, it’s too late to do anything about it.
Especially on the forehead, not the crown. No amount of medicine works. It truly doesn’t. Even if you wrestle with a dermatologist, it’s futile.
How do you know all this?
Well…
“Again with the same thing! Are you now ignoring what I say?”
“Can you please quiet down? I was right in the middle of reminiscing about some tear-jerking past memories.”
“Uuugh…!”
Unable to endure any longer, Arna clenched her fists and stomped her feet.
“What is your problem? Do you even have the intention to carry out this evaluation seriously?”
“No, I don’t.”
“You didn’t…? Didn’t you just say you don’t have the intention?”
That’s right. I was dragged here against my will by a quest. I have no actual desire to fight.
But how did my reply sound to the other party?
The blonde girl began grinding her teeth.
“So, you didn’t even plan to fight… but you messed with my bowl, right?”
“What bowl?”
What does she mean by that? Is she referring to my head?
“Don’t pretend you don’t remember now! When you suggested an evaluation yesterday, you poured radish kimchi broth into my ox-tail soup!”
“…”
“And that’s your provocation tactic? Messing with innocent meals! Do you know how much I suffered eating all that?”
Now, Arna was shedding tears. It must have been a truly painful meal.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of adding anything to my soup either. I only add salt or shrimp paste.
But radish kimchi broth? In a clear ox-tail soup? It would be completely justified if she hit me with her bowl right there.
Ah, but I guess I can’t do that.
After all, the culprit here is me.
Shin Yoon-seong… You’ve been up to quite nasty tricks.
And yet Arna ate it all instead of leaving any leftover.
Was there some unwritten rule that heroes shouldn’t leave food?
Becoming a hero seems so unnecessarily complex.
“I can’t take this anymore!”
Swish!
Arna drew her sword.
Wait, that’s a real sword. She’s actually going to use that on me?
It’s not going to just stop there. I could die. I just barely came back, and I might have to die again so soon. It turns out the road to Hell is not as easy as it seems.
“What are you staring at?”
“What…?”
“Aren’t you supposed to draw something too? That weird spoon you always carry with you!”
Oh right. I totally forgot.
Shin Yoon-seong uses a spoon as a weapon.
If I draw this spoon, could I stand a chance in a fight?
Clack clack.
I searched my jacket pocket.
Clack clack.
Then my pants pocket.
Clack clack.
Just in case, I took off my shoes and checked under the insoles.
“What are you doing now…?”
“Hmm…”
It’s not here. It’s nowhere to be found. I’ve searched my entire body, but there’s no sign of a spoon.
“Surely… You didn’t leave it behind, did you?”
“Let me just pop into the cafeteria first. It should only take three minutes.”
“….”
Arna’s words caught in her throat as she stared at me with a dumbfounded face.
No, who would leave it behind on purpose? I’m the victim here. Suddenly being turned into Shin Yoon-seong, what am I supposed to do about that?
I haven’t done anything wrong.
“…”
Hm, upon reflection, it seems like I did do something wrong.
Because I’m the head director who designed this villain.
“Hah… This isn’t even funny anymore…”
Shake shake. Arna’s hand gripping the sword began to tremble.
It wasn’t out of nervousness. Rather, it was due to uncontainable anger.
“Pouring radish kimchi broth into my ox-tail soup wasn’t enough…”
Clatter!
Arna ruthlessly threw the sword to the ground.
“And suddenly scheduling the evaluation on an unexpected Sunday morning…”
Thud.
Arna took a step forward.
“Not keeping to the time, showing up weaponless…”
Thud thud.
The distance between me and Arna is closing. Even though we’re getting closer, I can’t see her expression clearly due to her fringe.
“What were you even thinking…? Just trying to annoy me!”
Bang!
Arna tilted her head up. For a moment, I almost screamed. She had the eyes of a wild beast.
With that expression, Arna raised her fist.
“You, just die…”
Punch!
Evaluation ended.
The result—my defeat.
Knocked out in one punch.

“Ow….”
My cheek is still throbbing.
The first thing I did after returning to my dorm room was to check the school community board.
I used to do the same thing when I was a director. I scoured all sorts of community boards to gauge user sentiment. There’s nowhere else feedback comes faster.
Similarly, to understand the general atmosphere here, I needed honest stories from students attending this school.
“That said…”
The community vibes are fierce wherever you go.
These troublemakers. Just because they’re anonymous, they dish out savage comments without fear, carelessly mentioning Arna’s mother who isn’t even here.
“…”
Oh, did I just make a mistake?
It wasn’t intentional. Truly.
Sorry, Arna.
“But what am I supposed to do…”
I actually entered the world of <Tyr One>.
This foreign feeling is very similar to what I experienced on the first day of boot camp. It was completely miserable.
“Anyway, in the military, I could endure it until I went home…”
There’s no guarantee here. There’s no assurance that I’ll return to the place I originally lived. Perhaps I’ll just continue to live as Shin Yoon-seong.
At least, it’s comforting to know I’ve entered the world of the game I created, with characters I made.
That means it’s still my home ground. Playing Shin Yoon-seong isn’t that difficult.
Let’s check out this room first.
I got off the bed.
“But where did that spoon get hidden?”
He carries a spoon as a weapon, and yet there’s not even a trace of it. Usually, weapons are kept in easily visible places, right?
Surely it’s not locked up in a drawer somewhere?
Swish…
“Really?”
There it was, hiding exactly inside the desk drawer.
It’s terrifyingly slow, extremely inefficient, and has no elegance whatsoever.
This is the exclusive weapon of this character.
The spoon.
