Chapter 200: Is Ah Xuan chickening out?
Seducing her…
Su Hua froze.
Looking up at the man above her, her gaze darkened instantly.
“Ah Xuan, what do you want me to help you with?” Su Hua’s crimson lips curled slightly upward.
She loved seeing her Ah Xuan rely on her.
“One of my company’s two animated shows got stuck during review. I was hoping Hua Bao could help get them approved,” Lin Xuan replied.
“That depends on how Ah Xuan performs,” Su Hua said mysteriously.
It was just a matter of her saying a word, but Ah Xuan’s rare initiative intrigued her.
“As long as you satisfy me, I’ll help Ah Xuan,” Su Hua whispered seductively near Lin Xuan’s ear.
Lin Xuan lowered his head and kissed her lips.
Su Hua’s pale legs wrapped around his muscular waist.
In the midst of their passionate embrace, “Knock knock knock” came a sound at the door.
Lin Xuan tried to get up to answer it.
Su Hua tightened her grip around his neck. “Ah Xuan, ignore it.”
“Knock knock knock—” The knocking continued relentlessly.
“I should check it out.”
Lin Xuan stood up, starting to tidy his clothes. They had only been kissing passionately earlier, nothing else happened.
His clothes were still intact, just a little disheveled.
The mist in Su Hua’s eyes hadn’t dissipated yet.
But the atmosphere around her was icy, her expression clearly displeased.
Lin Xuan opened the door.
The servant immediately felt an icy chill.
“Why is it so cold?” the servant muttered, rubbing her arms.
Lin Xuan frowned. “Is there something you need?”
“It’s like this, Young Master Lin, Master has arrived and is waiting for you and Miss downstairs in the living room,” the servant respectfully replied.
“Alright, I’ll be right down.”
As Lin Xuan finished speaking, Su Hua walked over wearing a nightgown.
The maid glanced curiously at Su Hua.
Miss Su’s face seemed slightly flushed, her eyes still filled with moisture. She definitely had a unique allure now, too alluring that even she, a woman, felt her heart racing a bit.
But… Miss Su looked very unhappy.
When Miss Su stared at her, she felt a shiver down her spine.
It was as if she disrupted some good show of hers, though it couldn’t be right; she just knocked on the door.
“Tell him to go back and say that Ah Xuan and I are busy,” Su Hua said coldly.
“Okay.”
The maid agreed and hurriedly left. After walking a distance, she panted heavily.
Wah wah wah, Miss Su was really terrifying.
Su Guoxiong was sitting in the living room sipping tea. Because of leg issues, he hadn’t visited Night Garden after returning home.
This time, he noticed that Night Garden wasn’t as cold anymore, having more warmth.
“Good, good,” Su Guoxiong nodded with a smile full of joy.
The maid approached the old master and said, “Master, Miss probably can’t see you.”
“What about Xiao Xuan?” Su Guoxiong furrowed his brows.
“Young Master Lin also has matters,” the maid answered.
“What’s going on? Didn’t you say Hua’er and Xiao Xuan were both at home?” Su Guoxiong’s face was filled with confusion.
“Miss said they have things to handle and asked you to go back first,” the maid replied.
Su Guoxiong’s eyebrows furrowed tightly. He had a gut feeling something was off.
“Fine, I won’t go back yet. I’ll wait here until they’re done handling things.”
“Then Master, shall I tell Miss?” the maid asked.
“No.” Su Guoxiong sat on the sofa, picking up the nearby newspaper. “Don’t disturb them.”
“Yes.”
The maid sighed in relief. At least she didn’t have to deliver the message, otherwise, she’d experience Miss Su’s death glare again.
—
Upstairs in the study.
Su Hua closed and locked the door.
“Hua Bao, grandpa came over. We shouldn’t ignore him, right?” Lin Xuan said.
To be honest, enticing Hua Bao to skip meeting grandpa made him worried that grandpa might have issues with him.
One must not offend the parents-in-law.
“Ah Xuan, don’t care about outsiders,” Su Hua tiptoed, wrapping her hands around Lin Xuan’s neck. “Ah Xuan, aren’t you trying to seduce me?”
Her eyes carried a bewitching allure as her delicate fingers caressed Lin Xuan’s chest. “Ah Xuan, let’s continue, huh?”
Su Hua continuously lured the man deeper.
They kissed.
Su Hua’s body sank deeply into the sofa.
Her clothes slipped, and Lin Xuan noticed the bandage on her right arm. “What is this…”
“I was attacked, just a minor injury, nothing serious,” Su Hua pursed her lips. “The person who tried to assassinate me has been detained by me.”
“Hua Bao, you rest well first. Let’s continue next time.”
Lin Xuan was concerned about Su Hua’s condition.
The wound looked fresh, and he feared accidentally tearing it open.
Thinking about the assassin, Lin Xuan’s eyes were filled with coldness.
There were too many dangerous factors around Hua Bao.
He couldn’t just focus on making money through business. It seemed he needed to develop underground forces to truly protect Hua Bao.
Su Hua’s red lips curved slightly. “Ah Xuan, don’t worry. With your effort, nothing will happen. Besides, it’s just an arm injury, it won’t affect us.”
“Still…” Su Hua chuckled lowly. “Ah Xuan, backing down when it comes to the moment, huh?”
Lin Xuan: “!!!”
Backing down?
A real man cannot use the word ‘backing down’ when it comes to matters between men and women.
Lin Xuan’s competitive spirit arose.
“Really? Wait till Hua Bao cries later,” Lin Xuan gritted his teeth, determined to rise to the occasion this time.
Seeing Lin Xuan’s expression, Su Hua’s eyes flickered with triumph.
…
The air was filled with an intimate atmosphere.
Three hours later, Su Hua had changed into a new nightgown, and Lin Xuan had switched to casual attire.
“Ah Xuan, my legs feel a bit sore. Carry me downstairs,” Su Hua’s voice carried a coquettish tone.
Lin Xuan’s heart melted.
Which man doesn’t love a woman relying on him?
Especially Su Hua, usually strong, but only before him did she reveal her feminine side.
She had him completely hooked.
Now, except for Su Hua, other women didn’t catch his eye at all.
Lin Xuan lifted Su Hua in his arms, and Su Hua nestled into Lin Xuan’s embrace, fully dependent.
Su Guoxiong heard footsteps and put down the newspaper.
He raised his eyes toward the staircase.
Su Guoxiong: “!!!”
Were they so close? Even going downstairs required carrying?
Su Guoxiong, fearing they would feel awkward, quickly picked up the newspaper beside him and pretended to read.
Lin Xuan, holding Su Hua, reached the first floor and saw Su Guoxiong sitting on the sofa.
Thankfully, he retained a bit of rationality; otherwise, he would’ve panicked and thrown Hua Bao away.
Su Hua pursed her lips.
Su Guoxiong’s sudden appearance disrupted all her plans.
“Are you done handling things?” Su Guoxiong, eyes glued to the newspaper, asked seemingly casually.
“Grandpa,” Lin Xuan hesitated, “your newspaper is upside down.”
