Chapter 216: Cheating
On stage.
The supervisor furrowed his brow and said, “We have live broadcast footage here, Student Lin Li. It clearly shows that you altered the answers.”
“It’s because someone swapped the content displayed on my computer on the big screen, and also cleared my computer records. Please send someone to investigate.”
Lin Li’s eyes were shrouded in darkness.
This time he was determined to expose Brother Lin Xuan’s cheating!
“Alright.”
The supervisor nodded.
If he refused, it would make people think they were being evasive.
“Who should we get to verify this, Student Lin? You can choose.” To avoid making people think they had bribed the verifier.
Lin Li quickly contacted an organization.
They arrived soon after.
After thoroughly investigating the computer and screen content, they stated, “The records show that the content was deleted at 2:10 PM. Additionally, the live broadcast was continuously connected to the computer, without any switch in the live stream.”
So, Lin Li’s score was indeed zero.
Lin Li’s hands and feet went cold.
He could be sure he didn’t delete it! And he certainly wouldn’t input code that would clear the answers.
Now all evidence pointed to him being the one responsible.
What was going on?
The supervisor wasn’t surprised by this result.
Their security system couldn’t possibly be hacked, and beforehand, he had already had someone check the computer inside and out multiple times. There was no way what Lin Li said could happen.
“Student Lin Li, do you have any other questions?” The supervisor asked with a raised eyebrow.
“No.”
Lin Li felt a buildup of frustration.
The supervisor smiled, then grabbed the microphone and faced the audience.
“The matter is now crystal clear. The competition results are fair and just, without any hint of fabrication…”
Before he could finish, Jiang Shuqin loudly interrupted, “I have a question!”
“Lady, please speak,” the supervisor said.
“I suspect Brother Lin Xuan knew the competition content and answers in advance,” Jiang Shuqin said.
The supervisor frowned.
“Lin Xuan is my son, I know him better than anyone. If even Lier couldn’t finish the test, how could he possibly complete it?” Jiang Shuqin coldly remarked.
If she could prove Lin Xuan cheated, it would indicate the competition’s reliability was low, thereby proving someone tampered with Lier’s results.
She wanted justice for Lier.
“Hmph, the Lin family.” Su Hua chuckled lightly.
They should be grateful they’re still amusing playthings for Ah Xuan.
Jiang frowned, “Master, do you think Young Master Lin might not actually be their son?”
Their attitude towards Young Master Lin was too bizarre.
Not like family, but more like an enemy.
“Ah Xuan is their biological child,” Su Hua replied softly.
“Director Su, why are you so certain?” Jiang Qing looked curious.
“I had Butler Wang arrange a paternity test between Ah Xuan and the Lin family,” Su Hua responded.
“Eh?” Jiang Qing was momentarily stunned, “When did this happen?”
“Over two years ago.”
Su Hua slowly rotated the ring on her right ring finger that Ah Xuan personally placed there.
Two years ago, Ah Xuan tried every way possible to leave her. Every time they met, Ah Xuan never once gave her a good look.
But then he went out of his way to flatter the Lin family.
She was jealous to the point of madness.
She wanted to drive everyone around Ah Xuan away, so she had Wang Butler arrange for a paternity test between him and the Lin family.
The results showed he was indeed the Lin family’s son.
Jiang Qing was shocked.
Director Su had checked this long ago.
It made sense; Director Su cared so much about Young Master Lin, how could she not have checked?
The audience began whispering again.
“Yeah, just because Lin Li’s score is fine doesn’t mean Lin Xuan’s score isn’t problematic.”
“I also think Lin Xuan fabricated his results. Other contestants took two hours at most to reach the eighth question, yet he completed everything in under thirty minutes and got a perfect score. That’s just impossible.”
“He’s still a college student. I don’t believe he could be this insane.”
“If cheating can happen in an official competition, it disgraces all of us.”
Xue Wenbo, upon hearing Jiang Shuqin’s words, became upset, “The last three questions were set by me and Old Qian. Are you implying that both me and Old Qian were involved in the cheating?”
Lin Chang had been sitting quietly in his seat. He hadn’t stopped Jiang Shuqin from questioning Lin Xuan’s results.
His beloved Lier scored zero, while Lin Xuan, whom he had expelled from the family, got a perfect score and was called a genius.
Isn’t this a slap in his face?
If the truth could be uncovered, it would be good.
But when Lin Chang saw Xue Wenbo stand up, he lost his cool. Xue Wenbo and Qian Hong had extensive connections, and they might become Lier’s teachers in the future.

Lin Chang stood up, smiling, “Elder Xue, my wife isn’t saying you helped Lin Xuan cheat. She’s worried that after you sent the questions to the organizers, someone inside leaked them to Lin Xuan.”

“Lin Xuan’s perfect score is truly baffling. Even if we don’t bring it up, people will still have doubts. I feel it’s better to prove that he genuinely has the ability to achieve this score, don’t you agree?”
“Lin Xuan is your son?” Xue Wenbo looked skeptical.
Would biological parents really doubt their own child?
