Chapter 245: I’ve undergone rigorous training… (Please subscribe!)

The eighth day of the expedition arrived, and within the expedition team was a cacophony of noise.
The sound of metal clanging mixed with idle chatter as the members bustled about on the towering rocky terrain, each busy with their own tasks.
—A massive camping scene.
In this place where humans and demi-humans worked together without distinction, Izay was busy as a healer.
Their current location was the fiftieth floor of the Dungeon.
As Izay had anticipated, after conquering four consecutive Floor Masters, Loki Familia’s expedition team reached this designated Safe Floor.
Level 6 Udaeros was easily defeated by five Level 5 adventurers who surrounded it, laughing joyfully as they claimed victory.
However, Level 7 Balor pushed Izay to his limits.
With Haruhi’s magic “Treasure Hammer” and his own Enchantment “Silver Starfall,” Izay temporarily broke through to Level 5, stepping into the Hero’s Domain, earning him the right to face Balor head-on.
During the battle in the vast wilderness of the forty-ninth floor, Moite, Balor—a super-large species maze king with top-tier potential ability values at Level 7—fought single-handedly against four Level 6 elites and four Level 5 powerhouses but ultimately fell.
Now that they had crossed over to the fiftieth floor, the expedition team was resting.
After all, the three greats, the officers, and those like Izay rarely sustained injuries due to their strength. However, others weren’t so lucky.
The forty-ninth floor’s Great Wilderness was already part of the Dungeon’s “frontline” zone, where even the refreshed monsters possessed abilities rivaling Level 5.
Many second battalion members and supporters were injured during the fight against Balor and required healing.
Incidentally, among the known four Floor Masters, only Goliath didn’t summon minions for assistance during battles. The other three were experts at rallying help.
Thus, Goliath deserved the title of the most unfortunate Floor Master.
“Izay, can you spare a hand? Come give me a hand!”
“Coming, coming.”
Izay was currently helping heal the wounded, his high-level curing magic accelerating recovery far more efficiently than Panacea—and much cheaper!
One bottle of Panacea costs fifty thousand Valis! But Izay only expended some mental energy with his spells, which replenishes naturally.
Compared this way, it was clearly more cost-effective to let Izay heal them.
“Wow, Brother Raul! Why do you always seem to be among the injured?”
“Urgh! Izay, you’re gloating, aren’t you!? I saw you laughing!”
“Not at all, not at all. I’ve been trained rigorously; no matter how funny it is, I won’t laugh.”
Unless I can’t help it! Izay added silently.
When Izay entered another tent, seeing Raul lying down with bandages wrapped around his chest, he couldn’t hold back a laugh.
And he wasn’t alone. His good friend Koss was also laid out nearby. Together, they formed the “Misery Brothers” duo.
Cruz, who hadn’t been injured, feigned sighing beside them, pretending to tidy up emergency medical supplies while secretly snickering. He too couldn’t resist mocking them a bit.
Izay teased the trio briefly. Given their close relationship, none of them took offense.
After the banter, Izay cast his spell.
“Divine Healing!”
Pure magical light surged forth as magic circles appeared simultaneously under Izay’s palm and beneath Raul and Koss. Their wounds rapidly healed—broken bones mended, torn flesh closed, and lost blood restored.
“Truly impressive, Izay’s magic. I feel like I’m back on my feet!” Raul sat up, flexing his fists, delighted.
He wasn’t new to this treatment and quickly adapted.
Koss showed similar expressions.
“You were practically dying just moments ago.” Cruz smirked, recalling his earlier emergency treatment.
Hmph~
Among the healers, besides the highly efficient Izay, there were also Rine and Riviria, both possessing recovery magic. Even Refia could pitch in occasionally.
Izay handled the men, while Riviria and the others took care of the women. With four healers working together, treating the wounded was more than manageable.
After a flurry of activity, everyone’s injuries were healed before dinner began.
Portable magic stone lamps swayed with light, and campfires blazed around the central pot in the camp. Members of Loki Familia enjoyed their meal, stewed meat being a relatively luxurious treat only possible on safe floors devoid of monster spawns.
It was an arrangement made by Finn to boost morale after the recent battle.
“The fight in the Great Wilderness was tough. Thanks to all your hard work, we’ve managed to reach the fiftieth floor. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone. Thank you.”
Though there was no alcohol, Finn still raised his glass in celebration. Whether it contained juice, water, or wine didn’t matter—it was the gesture that counted.
“To our success!”
With the captain leading the charge, everyone followed suit, relaxing cautiously while maintaining vigilance.
“Crossing the forty-ninth floor always takes effort. And today we faced Balor…”
“It wasn’t too bad though. This time, Izay joined in the hunt, making it easier compared to usual.”
Sisters Tiona and Tione chatted about the previous battle.
Objectively speaking, if Izay hadn’t unleashed a meteor strike to restrict and wound Balor early on, the fight would have dragged on longer.
Nearby, Anqi and Alisia nodded in agreement, deeply impressed.
A meteor larger than Balor itself smashing into its face? Too strong!
However, the subject of their discussion seemed oblivious.
Currently flanked by Ais on his left and Haruhi on his right, Izay found himself sandwiched between two blond beauties. Nearby, Refia pouted jealously.
Under the envious gazes of the male members, Izay ignored them completely, interacting naturally with the two girls.
The envy of all bachelors? Not worth worrying about! (Cat superiority.jpg)
Gradually, the mood of the team grew complicated.
At least Izay was one of their own.
If anyone else dared to sit in Izay’s position…
The collective stares from these second-tier, even first-tier adventurers could pierce through steel.

[Short Scene with Riviria]
“I’ll show you an example first, then I’ll hand over control to Mommy!”
The deity said this with barely contained laughter.
Riviria tilted her head slightly, looking at Loki with a gaze that said “You’re weird” and even hinted at panic.
Loki couldn’t stop giggling.
Outside the partition, Izay noticed something amiss after hearing silence follow his inquiry.
“…Um, is someone inside?”
Izay referred to the partitioned area.
For some reason, he felt like Loki might be pulling his leg again.
This situation seemed eerily familiar.
“Yes~! I’m Sister Alf, the charming nun! Surely you, my lost lamb, must have sins weighing on your heart? No worries, you can confess anything to me~!”
“Hurry, Mommy! Take over as Sister Alf now! I’ve set everything up perfectly for you to extract Izay’s secrets!” (Privately)
Inside the partition, Loki continued egging her on. Riviria felt her mind melting under the overwhelming sense of shame.
“No! Never! Even if I jump off the Central Tower, I won’t play such a ridiculous role!” (Privately)
Riviria shook her head vigorously, determined to refuse till death.
