025 Dekan Drives the Tiger to Swallow the Wolf
After Cornelia and Dekan were expelled from the infirmary, they didn’t immediately head elsewhere.
Despite having already successfully explored the infirmary.
However, Cornelia noticed Dekan’s expression.
She knew Dekan was planning something big.
Dekan was standing outside the infirmary door with his ear pressed against it, eavesdropping on the sounds within.
Occasionally, he tried to peek through the keyhole at the situation inside.
Meanwhile, Cornelia stood guard nearby, watching his back.
“Ziiip! Ziiip!”
Dekan heard the occasional sharp, grating metallic sawing sound from within the infirmary, very much like the Demon Doctor using sharp tools to cut through Baron Bachel’s flesh, muscle, and bone.
The Demon Doctor was currently conducting a horrifying transformation on Baron Bachel.
If successful, Baron Bachel might even reach a fighting strength close to the sixth level.
Baron Bachel’s muffled cries of anguish and the buzzing of metal cutting scales rose and fell in succession.
After a while, Baron Bachel’s cries of woe grew louder, until they transformed into a miserable howl of despair.
“Aaaaaahh!! Why am I here?! ”
Baron Bachel finally regained consciousness during the Demon Doctor’s “renovation surgery.”
Although his mind was still in chaos,
the pain from the flesh being peeled and bones being stripped gradually brought him back to consciousness.
He realized that he wasn’t in the cooking classroom, but had been brought to a terrifying place, even for teachers.
“Hmph hmph, Bachel, just endure a little longer, you’ll become one of my masterpieces.”
The Demon Doctor continued stitching together monsters and metal parts onto Bachel’s body while deliberately stimulating his wounds with brutal methods.
This was the Demon Doctor’s twisted pleasure; he not only disliked administering anesthesia, but also made sure his patients stayed awake.
“Stop it already!! Aaaaahh!!”
Baron Bachel couldn’t accept the horrifying reality of himself turning into the Demon Doctor’s guinea pig, disrupting his graceful self.
Although his brain was in a mess,
the one thing clear to him was that his heart felt as if it were suffocated by fear, nearly making him lose breath.
He was caught in an inescapable nightmare.
It seemed he had endured far greater pain than what he was currently experiencing.
The accompanying fear all pointed towards an existence far more terrifying than even the principal.
But he couldn’t remember what that terrifying entity looked like.
Perhaps, it was the brain’s self-defense mechanism preventing him from recalling.
In a state of despair, Baron Bachel pleaded with the Demon Doctor, “Please, let me go! You’re being targeted, too! It’s still possible to escape now!!”
“Hehe, Bachel, stop talking nonsense. I’m merely following the school rules and treating patients who come to the infirmary. Don’t blame me.”
The Demon Doctor completely disregarded Bachel and became engrossed in his transformation project.
“You’re violating the rules!! Why would I come to you willingly?!”
Bachel appeared to have recalled something and panicked, shouting.
“Two students brought you here, not me capturing you.”
The Demon Doctor grinned sinisterly.
“Two students… aaaaaaah!!”
Bachel seemed to recall something, his memory becoming clearer, and he howled in anguish, with a sound so pitiful.
This greatly pleased the Demon Doctor, who was quite satisfied with Bachel’s current state.
The knife in his hand cut even faster.
Approximately tens of minutes passed. The increasingly fierce cries of agony from Baron Bachel within the infirmary finally reached their peak.
Dekan thought it was about time.
Whether the treatment made a living horse into a dead one or revived a dead horse, the transformation should have entered its concluding phase, and there should be a result.
“Did you remember the escape route, Cornelia?”
Dekan whispered.
Cornelia nodded seriously.
She had been carefully studying the map Dekan had drawn.
“Dekan: be cautious about the volume ahead.”
Cornelia covered her ears: “Mm.”
Subsequently, Dekan summoned the Ruined Bard outside the infirmary door.
“Owww! It hurts too much!”
In an instant, the black fog spread through the corridor and even infiltrated the infirmary.
“Ah ah aah—”
Simultaneously, Bachel’s screams inside the infirmary became broken and sharp, startling even the Demon Doctor.
He didn’t recall making Bachel feel more pain just now.
“Hmm? Is this black fog…?”
The Demon Doctor looked surprised at the black fog spreading on the ground.
He then roughly realized that Bachel’s abnormal suffering seemed related to the black fog.
“It! It’s him!!”
At this moment, Baron Bachel finally recalled the fear governed by this black fog while in a hazy state.
He also finally remembered the demon standing in the black fog.
It was the most terrifying demon he had ever seen.
He had been played with in the palm of its hand, endlessly tortured, and his mind was utterly broken.
As the pain in his body and the fear in his heart reached their peak, Bachel felt something in his mind snap and shatter.
“Aaaaahh!! Hahahaha!!!”
Baron Bachel gradually started laughing in a crazed manner.
Crying and laughing, appearing as if possessed by a demon.
He roared with his head tilted back, his eyes bloodshot, his body incessantly swelling.
A force far more terrifying than anything he had previously experienced erupted from him. In an instant, he broke free from the surgical table’s restraints and lunged at the Demon Doctor.
The infirmary emitted terrifying reverberations, echoing throughout the hallway.
Bachel had completely gone berserk or, more accurately, gone insane.
“Bachel! Calm down! I’m following the rules! I’m justified with the principal!”
The Demon Doctor resisted the completely irrational Bachel and yelled in panic.
But Bachel seemed completely unresponsive to his words, wildly assaulting the Demon Doctor.
Meanwhile, Dekan had already dismissed the Ruined Bard and fled with Cornelia.
“Baron Bachel’s wrongful evolution, losing himself as Baron Bachel, gained a new state!!”
Dekan started to mutter words that Cornelia couldn’t understand.
Cornelia noticed that Dekan wasn’t at all afraid of the riot caused by Baron Bachel.
And judging by his cheerful expression, it seemed his plan had succeeded once again.
The two hid around a corner of the corridor and waited for a moment.
Soon enough, a three-meter-tall monster crashed out of the infirmary; Baron Bachel barely resembled a human.
He had some scars on his body and was chewing on the Demon Doctor in his mouth.
“Roar!!”
A roar echoed through the corridor, filled with despair and bewilderment.
After his anger subsided, Bachel felt nothing but an overwhelming sense of emptiness.
“Hey!”
At that moment,
a small figure appeared in Baron Bachel’s field of vision.
This small figure was standing at the end of the corridor, swaying.
There was a mocking grin on its face.
“Hehehe, come over here!”
A voice full of mockery, yet slightly wise, came from it.
When Baron Bachel’s gaze entirely focused on the distant small figure, his whole body trembled.
That was a fifty-centimeter-tall humanoid doll.
Its body was plump and adorable.
And the face of the doll…
was the Q-version of Dekan!
