Chapter 274: The Flying Airship Sets Sail.
After the trivial matters were concluded, there were far fewer people remaining in the meeting.
But among them were the Chief Hunter, the village chief of Mojia Village, and two members from the Ancient Dragon Investigation Team.
Although everything wasn’t yet over, it was time to honor promises.
“The personnel Loke Clark Guild intends to dispatch to the Ancient Dragon Investigation Team have already been notified. These are their addresses and information; you can check them out within these two days.”
The guild president handed a list over to the Compiler, who was quite surprised by the top name’s resume on the list.
This individual was one of the core staff responsible for the heat engine part during the development of flying airship technology.
Flipping through a few more pages, all entries pertained to technical personnel related to flying airships.
“Don’t worry, flying airship technology is mature now. What follows will just be some expansion parts. Instead, if you guys can take a hot air balloon and fly into the sky over the New Continent, surely you’ll see much more.”
“All are agile-minded elites; I’m somewhat reluctant to let them go.”
The short old Dragon Person chuckled. The basic technology of the flying airship had developed to its end. Ambitious individuals shouldn’t be buried here.
“Also, they need some preparation time, but not too much. On the way to Dongduoluma, the flying airship will stop at Naguli Village. The candidate designated by Loke Clark as the second-phase team leader is currently training with the Earth Dragon clan.”
That was a young man who could give an impression of competence at first glance.
“After some materials from the Spirit Mountain Dragon are loaded onto the flying airship, exchange them for some equipment with that old guy from the Earth Dragon clan. And also, please convey my greetings to the Great Elder.”
After fewer people remained, the atmosphere of the Loke Clark Guild President relaxed, becoming kind and smiling.
“Hmm, I will convey it to the Great Elder.”
“And, is Eisha living well in Mojia Village? She’s always welcome to come back to Loke Clark anytime.”
Before becoming the receptionist at Mojia Village’s gathering place, Eisha had studied in Loke Clark and was always taken care of by the president’s wife, deeply loved by everyone.
“Haha, Eisha often mentions you. This time she even asked me to inquire about your health.”
The village chief smiled in response, expecting that the next step would involve dispatching hunters to solve Mojia Village’s problems.
“I’m doing fine. Mojia Village is a good place. Recently, an unknown monster capable of preying on White Sea Dragons and earthquakes have appeared. You should investigate it. Consider it a vacation. Always staying in Loke Clark, you should go see the real sea.”
The president looked at the Chief Hunter, planning to have him respond to Mojia Village’s needs, expressing respect for Mojia Village.
As the outpost of the Sea People tribe, the manager of the isolated island hunting grounds, and the origin of popular tuna, Mojia Village was also a very important location for Explo克拉k.
“If it’s arranged by the Guild, I have no objections.”
The Chief Hunter glanced at the Mojia Village village chief and nodded seriously.
He was more curious about the two unknown ancient dragons in the Great Desert, but investigating unknown ancient dragons wasn’t something he could handle alone. He just had to wait for the Guild’s arrangements.
The meeting ended, and the Compiler carrying the list was delighted beyond measure with the results.
The hunter from the investigation team greeted him, then followed the Chief Hunter intending to arm wrestle at the gathering place.
Jié Jié, who had finished his idle stroll around Loke Clark, was watching from the eaves. Then he trailed the Compiler, observing him visiting various places in Loke Clark.
After two days of extensive visits, Jie understood that the Compiler’s journey in Loke Clark was nearing its end. Next up would be the world center, Dongduoluma?
Watching the flying airship complete its preparations, carrying the Compiler and future second-phase team members as it set sail from the anchor tower, Jie also left Loke Clark.
He found the buried Strike Dragon Gun, pulled it out, and chased after the direction the flying airship was heading.
His speed was much faster than the flying airship, but worried that he might be easily noticed in the air and cause the flying airship to return out of caution, he chose to transform into a Sand Diving Dragon suitable for moving in the desert sands, dragging the Strike Dragon Gun behind him all the way.
The density of large monsters in the Great Desert was low, and encountering flying dragons in the vast airspace was difficult. Until leaving the sand seas and entering the airspace above the ocean, no dangers were encountered.
Once in the ocean territory, Jie moved more conveniently, transforming into an Abyssal Wave Dragon and carrying the Strike Dragon Gun while moving through the ocean.
Occasionally, he would drop the Strike Dragon Gun, transform into a Flying Pterosaur, and fly onto the flying airship to see what the people on board were doing.
Playing cards, rock-paper-scissors games, and other small games, or hunters using the facilities on the flying airship for training.
Day by day, the distant scorching mountains grew closer. Along the way, the flying airship detoured around a nearby volcanic area. That area seemed to have been marked as a no-fly zone due to frequent volcanic explosions.
After landing in the airspace of the new land, the activities of the flying airship became much more cautious.
There weren’t many flying dragons in the airspace over the desert and ocean, but plains, forests, and mountainous regions were different. These areas always had Fire Dragons present. The flying airship had ballistae and other military equipment, but it wasn’t enough to support facing aerial dominants in the air.
Soon, however, they entered the vicinity of Naguli Village. Important village bases like this would have camps set up nearby, and dangerous monsters would be regularly driven away, making it relatively safe.
With signal flares lighting up on the ground, the flying airship adjusted its sails and propellers, entering low-altitude flight mode, and finally docked at the anchor tower near Naguli Village.
Naguli Village backed against a volcano but wasn’t far from the ocean. The village itself relied on forging weapons and making ships as its foundation.
Placing the Strike Dragon Gun in a hidden spot, Jie mixed into the Compiler’s group, thinking this place couldn’t possibly be Dongduoluma, and was likely just a supply point along the way.
And the person who welcomed them was a Soil Dragon Person whose beard was tied into horns, the village chief of Naguli Village.
Soil Dragon People didn’t resemble Dragon People much. They were short in stature, stout in build, generally bearded, skilled in forging techniques, and more resembled dwarves in a fantasy worldview.
From afar, the lava flowing down from the volcano directly entered Naguli Village. Flames, steel, and lava pools were everywhere in Naguli Village, making it seem less like a village and more like a steel fabrication plant.
One could see short Soil Dragon People bustling about, pouring molten iron into molds or hammering on anvils.
It was a lively and warm place.
The village chief of Naguli Village took the letter handed over by the Compiler, deftly opened it with stubby fingers, and scanned its contents through protective goggles.
“Ho! That old fellow has gained quite a lot. Quickly unload the goods from the Spirit Mountain Dragon so I can take a look.”
The Soil Dragon Person jumped slightly on tiptoe, wanting to join the commotion when someone from the flying airship started unloading cargo, but was stopped by the Compiler in front of him. He scratched his head and laughed, then finished reading the letter.
“Oh! Calculating the timing, the Ancient Dragon Crossing is almost here. It’s the day to dispatch the fleet for support. That kid is with me. He’s a solid guy. Follow me.”
“Be careful. Don’t touch anything. Everything is very hot.”
Not to mention the lava and flames, even some red-hot iron blocks posed a significant threat to humans, causing them all to tread carefully.
At the village chief’s call, a bald young man closely examining a red-hot iron block walked over.

Monster Life Starting from Collecting Materials
Status: Ongoing
When you see a mighty male fire dragon soaring through the sky, you can't confidently say it’s truly a fire dragon—because it might have been a rare silver fire dragon before you noticed it.
If you suspect it was a silver fire dragon, it could have been a spinosaurus even earlier.
When someone tells you it was once a spinosaurus, you still can’t be sure—because before others saw it, it might have been an elder extinction dragon.
You may feel certain it’s a flying dragon by now, yet you can't assert that either—because underground where you can't see, it might actually be an ancient mountain dragon.
So, what is it really?
In the beginning,
It was just a hairy spider.
