Chapter 326: Constantly Thinking About That Woman!? (Please Subscribe!)

The current state of the Dungeon is unlike before.

New types of monsters, gem-like fetuses suspected to be the root of monster mutations, and the enigmatic beast tamers guarding those gems.

Unbeknownst events or rather “changes” are quietly occurring within the Dungeon, anomalies that even the ancient god Uranus who has long guarded the Dungeon cannot grasp.

This situation demands caution!

Because one fact is clearly evident:

“In some unknown place, someone is attempting to disrupt the peace this city has maintained for years… or perhaps even aims to destroy Orario…”

Uranus slowly opened his heavy-lidded lips, a deep and resonant voice echoing around the altar with an almost certain tone.

Though concrete evidence remains elusive, in the heart of the old god, this has become an undeniable truth.

Facing the towering deity who momentarily closed his eyes and slightly tilted his chin upwards gazing into the void, Fels stood silently, allowing the silence to linger for a moment.

After a while, the azure gaze of the old god focusing on the void gradually subsided.

“I must trouble you once more, Fels. Before Yizay and the others resolve the anomaly on the twenty-fourth floor, please help suppress any news from reaching the Guild.”

“Hmm, leave it to me.”

Under the dark hood, Fels lightly nodded in response.

This has been the Guild’s consistent approach.

Whether it was the incident in Rivira Town not long ago, the monster uprising on the thirtieth floor, or now the proliferation of monsters on the twenty-fourth floor, the Guild has ensured no information leaks out.

Apart from the adventurers directly involved, most others remain completely unaware of these occurrences.

Among adventurers, over half are Lv.1 and incapable of venturing into the Middle Layer.

In other words, the majority of adventurers are merely bystanders when it comes to such matters.

Letting them know would only cause unnecessary panic. To avoid such scenarios, controlling the flow of information is naturally the best course of action.

Meanwhile, as one of the few aware of this Dungeon anomaly, Dionysus harbors his own thoughts and at this delicate juncture approaches Loki Familia.

A meeting between deities unfolds once again.

Inside the Dungeon.

It didn’t take much time for Yizay and Ais, departing from the upper levels, to quickly reach the eighteenth floor.

The crystal dome above emits the brightness of “daylight.” Crossing through the entire forest and Great Prairie within the Safe Floor, they head towards the western lakeshore.

On the giant rock island situated at the center of the lakeshore, the newly revitalized Rivira Town can be faintly seen.

Xiao You and Cat, likely due to seeing this magnificent spectacle for the first time, have their previously dull eyes during the cave traversal now shining brightly.

For intelligent life forms, breathtaking scenery always holds a unique allure, captivating them effortlessly.

Re-entering Rivira Town, Ais witnesses the bustling scenes of adventurers, while Yizay confirms the route with the mission letter in hand.

The rendezvous point is a specific tavern located in a rather secluded area.

Following the simple directions marked on the note, the two soon leave the bustling streets behind, winding their way through narrow paths until they arrive at a remote trail north of Rivira Town.

At the end of the trail, a cavernous opening carved into a rugged rock wall appears before them.

The crystal light from the ceiling fails to penetrate this narrow alley, making the area quite dim.

However, there’s a wooden sign at the cave entrance reading “Golden Cellar Pavilion” — exactly the location specified in the mission letter where they are supposed to meet their “ally.”

A red arrow pointing downwards indicates a wooden staircase leading inside the cave.

Seeing this establishment tucked away in such an uninhabited spot, Ais couldn’t help but mutter under her breath.

“There’s actually a tavern here…?”

The young girl had rested multiple times in “Rivira Town,” yet she was unaware of the existence of this tavern.

“It’s probably not a legitimate tavern. This place looks like somewhere black-market adventurers gather and meet; who would open a tavern in such a secluded corner?”

Yizay glanced at the wooden sign near the cave entrance already showing cracks, then casually waved his hand.

If this were a secret “secondary base” set up by some Familial Group, Yizay might find it easier to believe.

But calling it a tavern?

Who would believe that?!

Not even Aqua would buy it!

“Meow~!”

“Miao~!”

In his arms, the two little ones, though unable to understand what Daddy Yizay was saying, nodded earnestly in agreement.

Regardless of the meaning, whatever Daddy Yizay says is right!

“…”

Ais decided to ignore the trio acting in unison, grabbing Xiao You back from Yizay, then pushed the small wooden door at the cave entrance and descended the wooden staircase.

“Miao~”

Just moments after enjoying Daddy Yizay’s embrace, Xiao You was snatched back by Ais, emitting a pitiful cry.

“Cough, your sister is having a tough day… isn’t that right, Cat?”

“Miao~??”

Cat, carried along by Yizay, looked up at him in confusion.

Her little eyes seemed to ask: When did Xiao You become my sister? We were born at the same time, weren’t we?!

Dad is favoring her!

You’ve been holding me all along, yet your mind keeps wandering to that woman!

Wah wah wah—!

In Yizay’s arms, Cat’s expressions were so rich it was like watching a play of human emotions.

Unfortunately, the lighting was too dim for Yizay to notice…(sideways smile.jpg)

Inside the cave, the wooden staircase wasn’t very long.

Within a few breaths, Yizay and Ais reached the bottom, revealing a cellar-like space akin to its name. The gathered tavern atmosphere struck their senses.

Yellow crystals unique to this area illuminated the spacious tavern.

Looking around, several tables and chairs were haphazardly placed. Adventurers with smiles played card games on the tables, with magic stones of varying sizes nearby, presumably used as stakes.

Contrary to its external appearance, the number of patrons inside was surprisingly high, every table and chair filled with adventurers everywhere.

At the moment Yizay and Ais entered, almost all the adventurers subtly directed their gazes towards the duo.

Was it goodwill? Curiosity, observation, or astonishment?

The noisy atmosphere paused briefly.

“—Yizay!?”

“[Sword Maiden]!?”
