Chapter 330: Because She’s Dumb
“Why didn’t you kill me…” Shixin asked.
Ming merely smiled, “I just suddenly changed my mind.”
Shixin tightly pursed her thin lips, her golden eyes looking at Ming with complexity.
“Why are you staring at me like that? And why does it feel like you’re about to cry?” Ming laughed, “Aren’t you fearless of death? What? When facing life and death, you suddenly realize how precious life is?”
“No.” Shixin shook her head.
“Not?” Ming was surprised, “If not, why do you look like you’re about to cry?”
“I don’t know either.” Shixin shook her head again, only looking seriously at Ming, “I can’t express my current feelings, but roughly… I’m happy.”
“Happy?” Ming nodded, “You should indeed be happy to be alive.”
Shixin: “It’s not because of that.”
Ming: “Then why?”
Shixin: “I don’t know.”
“You must be dumb or something?” Ming put down his long sword, thinking he might have scared the girl. Why is she talking nonsense? “Why didn’t you kill me?” Shixin asked, “If you killed me, you would get a lot of treasures, and you could escape alive.”
“Ho ho.” Ming coldly laughed twice, “For me, rather than killing a companion to survive, I’d rather die here.”
“But we will both die.” Shixin said.
“Who says so?” Ming smirked, “Who made this rule? Who says this rule cannot be broken?”
As he spoke, red blood qi surged around Ming.
Shixin clearly perceived the spiritual energy and Martial True Qi around Ming continuously rising; his blood seemed to boil.
Even standing in front of Ming, Shixin couldn’t help but feel fear and shock.
“Boom!”
Ming instantly disappeared in front of Shixin. The spot where Ming had stood was directly crushed into a deep pit.
In an instant, Ming appeared in front of the Woman in Red Dress. His blue robe fluttered as he raised the Flame Sparrow Sword high and swung it down! The Woman in Red Dress raised her long sword to block horizontally.
“Clang!”
The sound of swords colliding rang out. The Woman in Red Dress frowned, feeling her arms go numb.
“Such immense strength,” the Woman in Red Dress thought.
Behind the Woman in Red Dress, Ming’s Sword Qi had already cut through tens of miles away. The Sword Qi merged with the characteristics of the Flame Sparrow Sword, forming a fiery wall of Sword Qi stretching for tens of miles.
“Clang clang clang clang clang!”
Ming’s Flame Sparrow Longsword continuously swung down toward the Woman in Red Dress. The Woman in Red Dress didn’t dodge any of the strikes, blocking them all.
However, Ming’s strength was simply too great; every slash was excessively powerful, forcing the Woman in Red Dress to keep retreating.
Around them, the rocks were shattered into small pieces, and countless cracks formed on the ground from the slashing Sword Qi!”Bang!”
The two longswords collided once more.
Both Ming and the Woman in Red Dress’s arms holding the swords were pushed back, causing them to step back simultaneously.
The edge of Ming’s Flame Sparrow Longsword was slightly curled, with even some chipping, but the sword continued to emit resonant vibrations.
Even though the Flame Sparrow Sword hadn’t yet developed a Sword Spirit, this sword still yearned for battle—this was the instinct of a sword!
“Is your sword up to the task?” The Woman in Red Dress asked with a smile, “Won’t it break during the fight?”
“It’s enough to kill you.” Ming lunged forward again, swinging his sword horizontally. The Woman in Red Dress bent over to dodge, the sword blade passing by her ample chest. The Sword Qi sliced a nearby volcano cleanly in half.
Seizing an opportunity, the Woman in Red Dress also slashed at Ming’s waist. Ming reversed the tip of his sword, and the two swords clashed again.
The Woman in Red Dress smirked, spreading her arms wide. Her longsword split into two, each hand wielding a sword. She spun like a windmill, the two swords repeatedly striking the Flame Sparrow Sword.
Her skirt fluttered, as if she were dancing.
“Tsk.”
Ming clicked his tongue, realizing the opponent was indeed troublesome.
Fortunately, Ming’s eyes slowed down her movements, allowing him to seize her arm and thrust his sword towards her chest.
The Woman in Red Dress dodged like a butterfly, her graceful figure spinning around Ming twice.
In the blink of an eye, the Woman in Red Dress leaned against Ming’s back, her two swords merging again.
She wielded the sword with both hands, stabbing backward at Ming.
As Ming attempted to evade the strike, the Flame Sparrow Sword mimicked her movement, thrusting backward from his side.
The two separated again, their clothes torn at the waist, both Ming and the Woman in Red Dress bearing a sword wound.
Blood flowed from Ming’s waist, but the White and tender waist of the Woman in Red Dress only showed a slight tear, with traces of spiritual energy dispersing outward.
“Your eyes and that technique similar to the demon race’s Blood Fury seem to take a heavy toll on your body. How much longer can you hold out?” The Woman in Red Dress asked with a smile.
Ming: “Enough time to kill you.”
Ming charged at the Woman in Red Dress again.
Currently, Ming needed to activate his Dao Pattern Eye and Blood Qi Berserk to match the woman in front of him. Once his stamina runs out, he’ll truly be at someone else’s mercy.
Though he claims there’s enough time, he needs to end the battle quickly.
Every slash from both of them intertwined again.
“Aren’t you afraid that when you’re exhausted, the female monk will attack you?” The Woman in Red Dress spoke while fighting Ming.
“This, I’m not worried about.” Ming replied while swinging his sword.
“Why?”
“Because she’s dumb.”
“Dong!” Ming found an opening and kicked her in the chest.
The Woman in Red Dress was sent flying several meters away.
At the same time, Shixin finally finished chanting the Dharma Decree.
Golden lotuses floated around Shixin, flowing towards Ming.
These golden lotuses entered Ming’s body, transforming into golden light and entering Ming’s longsword.
Under the enhancement of Shixin’s Buddhist Law, Ming felt his body not only restored to its peak but surpassed its limits.
Ming took a deep breath, raising his sword high.
The Woman in Red Dress steadied herself, calmly looking at Ming. She was eagerly awaiting what his strongest strike would look like.
Would he have the qualifications to become her master?
