Chapter 67: The Demon’s Aid
After transforming, Ash skillfully maneuvered using his spider thread ability, guiding the monster to a suitable battleground. The creature, covered in sharp protrusions, fully utilized its physical advantages, slicing the nearby gazebo in half with a mere swipe of its gleaming claws.
“If we’re talking about desperate criminals, the Kift Apostle doesn’t even come close to this level.” Already transformed, Timons stood on a nearby high ground, quietly observing as the monster swiftly became a whirlwind of destruction. If it weren’t for this carefully chosen empty plaza, there would have already been casualties.
“This is quite a mess.”
“Timons!”
The Pretty Cure had also arrived, glaring angrily at Ash on the high ground.
“To deceive the heart of a girl is utterly—unforgivable.”
“No, if we’re talking about deception, this is just the appetizer, dear girls~”
Looking at Timons’ nonchalant demeanor, the girls could only feel anger. At this moment, they didn’t comprehend the true meaning of his words; they merely mustered their courage as always, ready to fight with all their might.
“If you intend to break the hearts of others, then we will protect everyone’s hearts!”
Facing the monster that was gradually turning its attention toward them, the girls stood their ground.
“A flower blooming on the vast earth, CureBlossom!”
“A flower swaying in the sea breeze, CureMarine!”
“Arara~” Seeing the two girls announce their names right away, the man smirked, finding it entertaining. “You know, to announce your names without even figuring out the enemy’s details is just the prelude to trouble.”
“Urusai, you only know how to say things that others don’t understand—ugh!” Irika, infuriated by Timons, had just retorted when she was suddenly struck and sent flying into an embarrassing position.
“Marine—ah!” As Lei worriedly called out for her friend, she immediately collided with the same attack, an unimaginable force sending her flying as well.
The Desperate Desert Beast violently stretched its arms like whips, each one wrapped with sharp blades, relentlessly striking at the girls like a rolling pin. Faced with such a relentless assault, the two girls wished to counter but could only scream as they were knocked down again and again.
“See? Didn’t I say so?”
While mocking verbally, Ash squinted his eyes to observe the creature’s state.
From where the seal was placed, countless darker and deeper powers surged forth, continuously reinforcing the strength of the monster’s body. The intensifying power of the attacks was precisely the key to overwhelming the Pretty Cure.
“What is happening—” The intensity of the attacks, never before experienced, left the girls struggling to hold on. “How can this guy be so strong!”
“Ahhhhh—” The fairy hiding behind the tree looked at the monster’s relentless brutality, panic written all over her face. “The reaction of that energy is terrifying! It’s scarier than any Desert Apostle!”
“What should we do? The Pretty Cure will be defeated at this rate!”
As the Pretty Cure faced difficulties, the more Ash observed, the graver his expression became.
He connected that seal to the Desert Apostle big boss drifting in space, and through the power transmitted from the seal, even if only a tiny bit, Ash could roughly gauge the opponent’s formidable strength, which he anticipated would far exceed the embarrassing entity from the previous world.
This surge of power, carrying a reaction from the depths of the cosmos, was imbued with pure darkness and the will to destroy—this was the source of Ash’s grim countenance.
“You remind me of some rather unpleasant characters.”
Like a certain cosmic emperor, a malevolent creature that could devour planets at a whim and liked to burn glass.
This projected situation was completely beyond his benchmark.
He could imagine that when the opponent returned as a BOSS, it would undoubtedly disrupt his “plans.” Coincidentally, the gear gun he planned to use was broken, and although that doctor genuinely intended to fix it for him, who knew when that would be accomplished.
“Damn it, how can we fight against Timons’ power… even if I operated perfectly, I can’t topple Demon Z with a steel ball!”
In a panic, Ash turned his gaze to the two girls, who were still desperately holding on. Even battered and bruised, they showed no signs of giving up, gradually inching closer to the sealed human monster.
“Precure… if this is your world, I guess it really depends on you all, doesn’t it?”
“Precure—!” Just when Wuki ran over holding Popuri, she happened to witness what unfolded next.
The monster’s hands transformed into blade-like shapes, approaching the two with precise steps, continuously swinging downwards. The deadly net formed by the sharp blades nearly robbed the two of any chance to retreat.
Seizing a fleeting opportunity, Irika bravely kicked with her dazzling legs, but the seemingly bulky monster nimbly sidestepped her attack, its knife-like hands slicing through the air with perfect arcs, knocking Lei to the ground, immobilized.
With sharp eyes, Wuki immediately recognized the technique. “This is the Myojo-in style, brother!”
But the monster’s arsenal didn’t end there. It also swung its tail, covered in spikes, twisting like a snake to launch the pointy tip toward Irika, who was suspended in mid-air. As she realized the impending danger, Lei wanted to intervene but was too restrained to reach her in time.
“Marine!”
“!”
Facing what could result in severe injury or worse, Irika’s eyes widened in terror. As the sharp point drew closer, a red light streaked past her, narrowly avoiding the devastating tail strike.
“Huha, haha—” Cradled in someone’s arms like a princess, Irika gasped for fresh air, relieved to escape. When she looked up to see who her unexpected hero was, her expression fell upon Timons’ spider-like head.
“W-why is it you?!”
Irika was taken aback. She knew that deceiving Wuki’s heart and turning her brother into a monster was the act of a vile villain, so why was he saving her now?
Then it hit her how embarrassing her position, being held under Timons’ arm, was. Her heart, previously protected by a carefree demeanor, felt a strange pang, making her protest loudly.
“You hurt Wuki’s heart, and now—now you treat a lady like this! Let me go, you belt-wearing spider-headed pervert, lolicon pervert! Pervert! Pervert!”
