Chapter 336

Chapter 336: You牙兽kind!!!!

“Roarrrr!!!!”

Climbing halfway up the snowy mountain, Jié Jié heard once more the furious roar of a giant beast.

With a few leaps around the hillside, he spotted the situation below—a group of White Swift Dragons were surrounding and attacking the giant beast.

White Swift Dragons are a branch of Swift Dragons adapted to the snowy mountains, possessing astonishingly high intelligence. Yet, their audacity to surround such a massive creature was still shocking.

The giant beast was colossal, while an average White Swift Dragon was barely over five meters long.

Of course, the White Swift Dragons’ target wasn’t the giant beast but rather the juvenile creature it was protecting beneath its body.

But why?

Jié Jié perched on the slope above, releasing his energy perception and capturing the presence of the dragon king within the White Swift Dragon pack.

The White Swift Dragon King was lurking in the shadows, watching him with eyes that gleamed with wisdom, as if evaluating the impact he might have on the battle.

Soon, the expression in the White Swift Dragon King’s eyes turned into one of contempt.

Him? Hōng Lóng? Disdained by the White Swift Dragon King?

Jié Jié’s pupils contracted slightly, making it hard to describe his current state of mind.

When his gaze returned to the battlefield, he realized that the threat posed by the White Swift Dragons to the young Bobo was indeed greater than that from Hōng Lóng.

It was like a documentary from his previous life where lion prides hunted baby elephants; each strike by the elephant could scare off a lion, but the lions would circle around and claw at the baby elephant from blind spots.

The young creature sat helplessly on the ground, unable to resist the White Swift Dragons that bypassed its mother. It relied solely on its thick fur for defense, and it wouldn’t last much longer, pitifully lying there in the snow.

Just then, a swift black wind slashed into the battlefield.

Jié Jié nimbly avoided the Mountain God’s four pillars, flapping his wing-claws repeatedly, sending all the nearby White Swift Dragons flying.

A swing of his pitch-black tail erected a wall that blocked all the White Swift Dragons from advancing.

Swift Dragons aren’t strong fighters against large monsters, but their efficiency in overwhelming weaker opponents is unmatched.

In this wave of assault, the White Swift Dragons’ hunting strategy was broken.

When Jié Jié looked back at the White Swift Dragon King, it showed signs of astonishment.

What an impressive IQ.

“Grunt!”

The White Swift Dragon King roared, showing no intention to continue the fight. It called out to its battered troops and withdrew from the battlefield.

However, the giant beast still charged towards Jié Jié, only to be deftly dodged.

“Grunt~ Grunt~”

The fluffy ball rolling in the snow clung to the giant beast’s massive foot, calming down its anger and becoming composed.

Still, it kept its offspring under its protection, shaking its nose to splash snow and drive away the Swift Dragon before it.

Compared to when it faced Hōng Lóng, its hostility had decreased significantly.

Elephants possess high intelligence, and the giant beast, resembling an elephant, should have similar intellect.

Jié Jié shook his tail with a loud snap, disappearing in a flash, observing the mother and child from the shadows.

The giant beast lifted its offspring and gently guided it towards the safer area inhabited by the Bobo herd.

Chasing them all the way, he saw them arrive at the secure territory where the Bobo herd lived.

The giant beast delivered its offspring into the Bobo herd and stood at a distance, silently watching as the herd gradually surrounded the young one.

Unable to protect its offspring alone against the White Swift Dragons, the giant beast entrusted its safety to the Bobo herd.

Like herbivore dragons, Bobos can repel White Swift Dragons and Thief Dragons through their collective agitation and counterattacks.

However, the Bobo herd cannot face large monsters, so the giant beast stays hidden, guarding against any threats to the herd.

“Truly a textbook example of symbiosis.”

Jié Jié admired, transforming into a rather large Bobo and seamlessly blending into the herd, effortlessly being accepted as one of them. He approached the “Glowing Bobo” enveloped by the herd.

Looking closely at the white fluffy ball, he found it cuter the more he observed, extinguishing any predatory instincts.

The white fluffy ball also rubbed against him, using its long nose to tug at Uncle Jié Jié’s brown fur.

So cute!!!

He raised his head, rubbing it against the young giant beast’s head, deciding not to hunt Bobos in front of the white fluffy ball.

After replenishing his fluffiness energy by bonding with the young giant beast, Jié Jié quietly left the Bobo herd and resumed climbing the majestic snowy mountain in the form of Hōng Lóng.

On the way, he encountered another predator living in the snowy mountains—Snow Lions. They weren’t lions but rather ape-like creatures covered in fur, with lion-like manes encircling their heads.

At this moment, these little Snow Lions were following their leader, Snow Lion King, in a fierce battle with a Giant White Rabbit.

The White Rabbit Beast was also a toothed beast monster. Despite its name, it wasn’t cute like a regular white rabbit. Its shell-covered upper jaw formed a beak, with stubby ears and a plump body.

With a single embrace and thrust, it rolled a snowball larger than its own body from the snow, hoisting it onto its shoulder and hurling it, directly knocking the Snow Lion King off its feet.

One snowball after another exploded upon hitting the Snow Lions, even blasting them off the steep mountain, possibly turning them into piles of meat if they weren’t lucky.

A Snow Lion circled behind the White Rabbit Beast but was thwarted by a backward jump that sent it sprawling in the snow.

Despite being surrounded, the round and chubby White Rabbit Beast fought like a war god, defending itself from all angles and repelling the attackers.

Clearly, this wasn’t an ordinary White Rabbit Beast but a special individual destined to be named “Great Snow Lord” in the future.

As Jié Jié drew closer, a massive snowball struck him dead-on as he climbed upwards, shattering into pieces.

And amidst the snow, he caught a whiff of something foul…

Snow Lions love burying poop in the snow! And White Rabbit Beasts love throwing snowballs!

You牙兽kind!!!!

Though confident that nothing had truly splattered on his face, the furious look in the rapidly sprinting Hōng Lóng’s eyes was unmistakable as he leapt from the mountain wall onto flat ground.

His limbs moved frantically, accelerating swiftly. How could the short-limbed Great Snow Lord evade? It was immediately knocked to the ground, squealing wildly.

Jié Jié stopped his charge, lifting his hook-claw and slamming it down forcefully, embedding it into the Great Snow Lord’s fur and tearing it open. Blood gushed forth like a fountain.

Blows struck his abdomen, as the Great Snow Lord tried to kick him off with its powerful legs.

His tightened abdominal muscles acted like a solid core, making it impossible for the Great Snow Lord to escape his restraint despite its struggles. Its stamina drained rapidly with the loss of blood, soon exposing its weak points, allowing him to bite into its neck.

Carrying the corpse of the White Rabbit Beast, Jié Jié climbed to the mountaintop, gazing at the dazzling auroras across the sky.

Various colors formed a curtain under the night sky, interweaving and reflecting even more brilliant hues.

On one side of the mountaintop, Jié Jié also spotted a fallen silver statue. Upon closer inspection, it was the exuvia left behind by Steel Dragon after molting.

Peering inside the exuvia, a small white figure wriggled continuously within.
