Four days before the expedition.
In the library of Loki Familia’s headquarters, Twilight Manor.
“Rather than explaining, I think it’d be faster to just show you. I remember seeing this name when I was little, right here in the library…”
Tiona was retracing her memories, checking specific bookshelves around the room.
“Does the library really have books that record the deeds of ‘Aria’?”
On another side of the bookshelf, Refia was helping search, her voice filled with uncertainty.
The reason they were here was because at the end of the grain storage incident, Refia noticed the red-haired beast tamer calling Ais “Aria.” Moreover, from her tone, it seemed like she had been searching for Ais—searching for “Aria.”
She ended up blatantly leaving bait, luring Ais into a trap.
Refia wanted to know the connection between the girl she admired and those people, but she hesitated, wondering if asking directly would be too offensive.
Just then, Tiona and Tione approached, sharing their concerns with each other, and the three of them went to the library together to look for clues, as Tiona confidently assured them that there would definitely be information about “Aria” here.
“There must be! I won’t get it wrong!” said Tiona.
Tione, who came with her, watched her search for books from behind. She saw her walking back and forth between the bookshelves, from the beginning to the end.
“I remember seeing it right here… Ah, I found it!”
A moment later, Tiona happily called out, tiptoeing to pull out a thick book from high on the shelf.
The book was quite heavy, its binding giving off an ancient feel.
The cherub skillfully flipped through the book a few times, quickly finding what she was looking for.
Drawn by her voice, Tione and Refia approached.
“This is a hero tale, isn’t it!?”
The two peeked over Tiona’s shoulders to observe together, their gazes landing on the page.
The opened page showed an illustration of a beautiful woman with golden long hair, depicted in black and white as if wearing celestial garments.
“Fairy, Aria…”
“Miss Ais is the legendary fairy!?”
“I didn’t say that, Refia. I’m just helping find clues. The name Aria appears in many stories, but the content of each story varies somewhat.”
“Ais being a fairy… That’s impossible, right? We practically grew up with her.”
Refia’s overly excited guess was met with rebuttals from the sisters. Soon, the elf girl realized how absurd her thoughtless comment was and started blushing.
“Then… why did that red-haired beast tamer call Miss Ais ‘Aria’?”
Tiona, stroking her chin seriously, said, “What if Ais is the child of a great fairy? Perhaps Ais’s mother is Aria!”
“But I remember that the deity’s avatar ‘fairy’ should be unable to bear offspring, just like the gods,” Tione replied with a strange expression.
She felt her sister’s guess was a bit far-fetched.
“Not necessarily, my clumsy sister.” However, Tiona wagged a finger, “Aria is the legendary great fairy, governing ‘magic’ and ‘miracles.’ Having a descendant isn’t such a strange thing!”
Tiona insisted that ‘magic’ and ‘miracles’ are real!
So, it’s normal for a fairy to have offspring, right?
“Huh? Who’s talking about magic and miracles!?”
At that moment, Izay emerged from behind the rotating bookcase with a creaking sound.
Upon stepping out and hearing someone talk about magic and miracles, he immediately felt his DNA stirred.

“Ah, it’s Izay, busy again in the Magic Workshop?”
Seeing him emerge from behind the bookshelf, Tiona greeted him nonchalantly.
“Kind of. I’m enchanting your new weapons. Like what I’m holding here.”
Izay lifted the stack of weapons wrapped in white cloth in his hands.
A few days ago, he, along with Finn and Loki, visited Hephaestus Familia.
The purpose was to consult about the expedition matters and retrieve the advanced weapons they had commissioned beforehand—the series works {Roland}.
There were five pieces in total. They included Finn’s spear, Gress’s battle axe, Bert’s twin swords, Tiona’s great sword, and Tione’s axe spear.
All were weapons with the “indestructible” prefix, first-tier armaments custom-made for the new species battle.
Izay had been busy these past few days enchanting the weapons, after all, he had promised Loki before.
Knowing he had important things to do recently, even Riviria hadn’t come much to the Magic Workshop to slack off these past few days.
Apart from Ais occasionally dropping by during the day, it was probably only Haruhi sneaking in every night?
Because of working diligently, Izay hadn’t returned to his room to sleep these past few days.

“Eh? Are our designated weapons already completed? I thought we wouldn’t get them until departure!”
“Not only are they completed, but they’ve also been enchanted.”

Tiona’s straightforward cheerfulness made it boring for him.
But he couldn’t dampen the little angel’s enthusiasm, so Izay helplessly nodded in agreement.
“By the way, what were you guys talking about regarding magic and miracles?”
“Oh, this is about Refia…”
She informed Izay of the topic the three had discussed earlier.
“I see, you’re concerned about the relationship between Ais and Aria?” After listening, Izay thoughtfully nodded.
“Do you know anything, Izay?” Seeing his demeanor, Refia suddenly asked.
She inexplicably felt that Izay might know something about it.
“I do know a bit.”
“Eh—!? Then can you…”
“Forget it, no way!”

Refia’s expression was indescribable.
And Izay very straightforwardly gave the reason.
“You don’t need to speculate privately like this; just go ask Ais directly, isn’t that better? She’s not going to hide it from you.”
It’s just a matter of background. In Izay’s personal opinion, Ais doesn’t care about it that much anymore.
The main reason is that Loki wants her to keep quiet, so she follows the request.
If Refia and the others were to ask, even Loki wouldn’t refuse to answer them.
After all, trust exists between them.

Shaking his head like an old man worried about his children, Izay left the library with the enchanted weapons while Refia and the others were speechless.
He wasn’t going to hang out with these three anymore; he had to “submit his homework” now.
