Chapter 350

Chapter 350: Farewell to the Male Fire Dragon.

The starship docked, and Jié Jié nimbly leapt into the open arms awaiting him.

“It still likes you.”

“Meow~”

The Ailu Cat chef giggled, pulling out a piece of dried meat from her pocket and offering it to the Smoky Snow Weasel wrapped around Jié Jié’s neck like a scarf.

After preparations for the ship were complete, everyone was gathered aboard the Starship. With over one hundred twenty people, not only was the Starship crowded, but even the mountaintop felt cramped.

“It seems our base needs an expansion.”

The tech squad leader sighed, turning his head to see a tall, dark figure approach, emanating the unmistakable scent of long hours by the forge and burning coal.

Just one sniff, and you knew he was a seasoned craftsman—but surprisingly young.

“Senior, once we’re on-site, adjustments will be necessary. I hope you’ll work with me and provide valuable input.”

The second team leader squatted near the old Dragon Person, unrolling several scrolls of leather onto his knees.

“Good kid, creative ideas, but do we have enough materials?”

“Three ships—should be enough, right?”

“You’re going to dismantle the ships? Seriously?”

“Yeah, seriously.”

The second team leader nodded firmly.

“Are your members ready?”

At this, the tech squad leader grew serious, asking with a stern tone.

“They’re ready. Boarding the ship to the New Continent means we’ve committed ourselves wholeheartedly. This is necessary for our new home.”

The survey team had grown from thirty to over one hundred twenty—a fourfold increase. He, along with the first group’s leader, might have concerns, but now wasn’t the time to voice them. It was hard to ensure everyone would retain their original intentions over ten years isolated from the Old Continent.

So let’s burn our bridges while everyone’s spirits are high. Let’s sever all ties with the Old Continent for the next decade.

They must focus entirely on building their sole home for the next ten years—an idea they’d had since their days on the Old Continent.

The fiery determination in the young human’s heart caught even the elderly Dragon Person’s attention.

“Good, well done! You’ve earned the respect of the craftsmen, and now you have mine. From here on, you lead the expansion efforts.”

The tech squad leader gave a thumbs-up, finding the young man increasingly likable.

“Take me on a tour of the mountain now. Let’s adapt to the new environment and observe where we should start expanding.”

“Sure, no problem.”

If only there wasn’t such a height difference between the old Dragon Person and the young human—they might have been slapping each other on the back right now.

Jié Jié thought as he watched them slip away from the gathering.

This meeting was just to introduce everyone to their roles. The chefs now included the fleet’s Ailu Cat cooks, who showed proper respect to the head chef, quickly establishing their positions.

The head chef led the cooking staff through the current dining area—a cave—and asked the fleet’s cooks to help procure additional kitchenware and seasonings.

Bringing everything over wasn’t realistic; the base couldn’t accommodate so many people, nor could the dining area fit everyone.

Base expansion would progress gradually, impossible to complete with a single upgrade button. For a long time, the ships would remain partially intact, serving as living quarters for the members.

With various arrangements made, the group’s activities became busy yet orderly.

Some crafted pots, others struggled without rice, making do with what they had.

But tonight’s dinner was unprecedentedly lavish. Hunters were mobilized to hunt, fish, and gather vegetables, while crates of rum were unloaded from the ships, creating a lively atmosphere.

Jié Jié left the base with a few jars of seasoning unnoticed, heading into the Ancient Tree Forest to gather ingredients.

Herbivore Dragon meat, vegetables, spice plants, ores…

Transforming into Queen Mantis, silk threads neatly packed all the harvest.

A hidden gaze lingered in the shadows—likely an Ancient Dragon Person?

Jié Jié scanned the area with energy perception, but his approach seemed to frighten the little old man, who climbed trees and jumped about with surprising agility.

He rummaged through his silk bag, pulling out a large fish and shaking it before throwing it toward the Ancient Dragon Person.

The Ancient Dragon Person caught the fish with his staff, carefully inspecting the Queen Mantis before nodding knowingly.

Jié Jié nodded and continued forward.

“Roar!”

“Hooooo!”

Up ahead came the roar of monsters battling—it sounded like a Fire Dragon and a Savage Jaw Dragon.

Thinking of the taste of Savage Jaw Dragon meat, Jié Jié rubbed his mantis arms in satisfaction and moved closer.

The young Male Fire Dragon stood resolute, wings torn but legs powerful as he launched himself at the Savage Jaw Dragon, attacking fiercely yet carefully avoiding its massive jaws.

Jié Jié observed patiently, waiting for the outcome.

Unfortunately, the terrain was unfavorable, forcing the Male Fire Dragon to break through the canopy and retreat.

“Sssss!”

Jié Jié emitted a series of hisses, attracting the Male Fire Dragon’s attention while charging at the Savage Jaw Dragon.

Facing the beast’s snapping jaws, he struck its nose with a mantis arm, relentlessly pursuing until he flipped it over. Rushing forward, he raised his mantis arm and drove it through the Savage Jaw Dragon’s eye socket, killing it instantly.

The Savage Jaw Dragon struggled briefly before falling still.

The Male Fire Dragon hovering above assessed the situation, showing strong wariness toward the creature below. Deciding to keep his distance, he ascended higher, preparing to use ranged attacks to claim the Savage Jaw Dragon’s corpse.

“Grunt!”

A fireball shot toward Jié Jié, but his mantis arms deflected it. The explosion didn’t knock him back or ignite him.

Seeing this, the Male Fire Dragon wasted no time ascending further to leave.

Queen Mantis expanded in size, spreading her vast wings and soaring skyward, colliding directly with the Male Fire Dragon.

“Grunt?!“

The Male Fire Dragon felt the wind pressure behind him but couldn’t dodge in time, stumbling mid-air. Turning back, he saw a much larger creature than himself.

Tensing his body to flee, he noticed the mocking expression in the creature’s eyes.

“Don’t you recognize me?”

The Fire Dragon grew sturdy in the sky, his horn pointing upward.

“Roar!”

Iron Pot roared joyfully, flipping and dancing in the air.

Jié Jié cooperated, leading him back to the ground.

After the excitement passed, Iron Pot seemed somewhat dejected, wistfully gazing at the fallen Savage Jaw Dragon.

Reverting to Queen Mantis, he used his hooked mantis arm to tear off a large piece of meat and offer it to Iron Pot.

Iron Pot happily took the meat and stepped aside.

Jié Jié glanced at the sky; it was already noon of the next day. Transforming into Extinction Dragon, he carried the silk bag and the Savage Jaw Dragon’s corpse with brute force, flying upward.

Looking back at Iron Pot, the Male Fire Dragon seemed hesitant.

Indeed, the child had grown up.

But Jié Jié didn’t intend to leave alone. He waited in the air until Iron Pot flew toward him.

Back in Golden Land, Nana awaited in the field, surrounded by piles of Yanque Stones she had excavated.

The Extinction Dragon descended, and with a snort, Jié Jié dropped his load, transforming into Flame King Dragon.

He brought ingredients, seasonings, the key item—the Savage Jaw Dragon corpse—and a Male Fire Dragon.

“Roar?”
