Chapter 362

Chapter 365: The Great Wilderness Moite (Please Subscribe!)

The battle between Beier and the Minotaur seemed, to first-tier Adventurers, utterly lacking in finesse.

It was a struggle far beneath their level, amateurish and clumsy.

Yet, there was something about it that held their gaze. Something in that fight compelled them to stay rooted to the spot.

Even after guessing the reason for the girl’s rapid growth, they couldn’t look away, Izay included.

Perhaps this was the allure of “adventure.”

For the elite Adventurers standing at the peak of Orario, they were witnessing the first steps of a talented peer rising to prominence.

This was the opening chapter of a Familial Group myth not their own.

Meanwhile, Lilith, who had lain unconscious beside the battlefield due to a head injury, had been momentarily overlooked by everyone.

Fortunately, she was later noticed by Riviria, who had Izay heal her.

As for Lilith’s subsequent plea for help upon waking, Izay left it entirely to Mom桑 and Finn to handle.

A few minutes later, amidst the roar of magic and the passage of time, the Minotaur turned into ashes in the crimson flames and scattered.

“Clothes! Her clothes exploded! Leader, don’t look!!”

“Bert, you turn around too!”

“Izay—!”

“???”

When Beier passed out standing up, the sight of her top having completely blown apart sent the girls into action.

Tione tugged on Finn, Tiona scolded Bert, while Ais immediately covered Izay’s eyes with her hand.

“Ais…you’re hurting me. Could you ease up a bit?”

“Ah, sorry…”

“It’s not like I saw anything…” Izay muttered, feeling unjustly accused.

It was just her back. What was there to cover?

“Do you want to see more then?” Riviria replied, her tone less than friendly.

Hearing this, Izay responded honestly: “Uh…no.”

“You hesitated.”

“No, really, I didn’t!”

Riviria narrowed her eyes, staring at Izay, whose vision was still blocked by Ais’ hand, before taking his wrist.

“You should have spare clothes in your storage space, right? None of us brought extra outfits. Hand over one of yours.”

“Oh…sure.”

Izay complied, producing a men’s outer garment.

He did have women’s clothing in his personal space, but why bring it out here…everyone understands.

Taking the coat, Riviria released his hand and went forward to dress Beier.

Once Beier was clothed, Ais relaxed her vigilance over Izay.

As for Finn and Bert nearby, they’d almost been shoved to the edge of the cavern by Tione and Tiona.

“Let’s have someone from Raul’s group escort this girl back to the surface. She is, after all, an acquaintance of yours, Izay.”

“Leave it to you, teacher.” Izay showed no objection.

Skipping past the grateful interlude of the small person race girl, Riviria later selected a support member from the vanguard team to escort Beier and Lilith back to the surface.

Later, this support member, entering the Dungeon for the second time, would catch up with Gress’ rear guard forces with increased speed.

The journey ahead proceeded smoothly, and thus the reorganized expedition team at Level 18 set off directly towards the “Ultra-Deep Layers.”

A few days later, on the great wilderness of Level 49, Moite.

Deafening roars erupted repeatedly.

Following the thunderous footfalls, hordes of super-large monsters trampled across the desolate terrain.

With goat-like horns curving backward, bloated and grotesque faces resembling demonic horse heads, and red eyes darting about, these creatures exuded dominance as they sniffed for prey.

These are the gigantic monsters that only appear in the Ultra-Deep Layers—the Formors.

Monstrous bodies akin to small mountains surged forward, countless black silhouettes raising their thick arms armed with crude weapons high above their heads.

But in the next instant, a fleeting blur flashed through, creating a gap among the monsters poised to attack.

“All of you die!!”

The howl of the werewolf echoed louder than even the monsters themselves at the frontlines.

“Uraaaaaahh—!”

Following closely behind was Tiona, dashing forward.

With her Great Double Blade, she effortlessly split the monsters in two.

“Tione, keep an eye on them so they don’t charge too deep!”

“No problem, Leader!”

Finn, watching his officers charge forward, issued concise and swift orders.

While heartened by the growth of Bert and the others, he couldn’t help but worry about them.

He understood their desire to level up, but that didn’t mean he could let them act recklessly.

This was Level 49 after all.

The nightmarish horde of monsters kept advancing relentlessly, attempting to overwhelm the Adventurers’ defenses with sheer numbers.

And these were Formors, highly adept at close combat. Bert and the others could rush forward if they wanted, but plunging deep into enemy lines was forbidden!

“—ROOOAAAARRRRR!?!”

On the flank where the three officers and the vanguard couldn’t reach, the Formor let out a roar.

However, this roar was abruptly cut off.

“Piercing Rainbow Spear!!”

A sweeping massive rock spear descended like a fatal scythe slashing through straw, piercing straight through the approaching massive figure.

Sweeping up surrounding monsters in its wake, this earth-shattering strike obliterated the central Formor and heavily wounded those on the edges.

“Wall Rising to Immense Heights!!”

The magical assault didn’t stop there.

After the massive rock spear disrupted the monster’s advance, sharp stakes rose from the ground, mercilessly reaping their lives.

In the blink of an eye, entire groups of monsters were annihilated, leaving piles of Magic Stones scattered everywhere.

The resonating dark golden rock constructs standing tall in the wilderness spread vibrant yellow magical waves, forming robust energy shields for the Adventurers.

Izay deftly spun his dark silver spear, each strike claiming the life of a Formor with precision.

Accompanied by the sound of splitting winds, dazzling afterimages flickered incessantly.

Beside him, the fierce sword dance of Ais crackled with determination, her Sword of Despair flashing to sever a monstrous arm reaching for her.

A chilling aura of sword light coalesced around her, forming a storm of blades that shredded any who dared approach.

At the center of this fierce storm, the girl moved with elegance and cruelty.

Together, they held the flank against the invading horde, securing one side of the battlefield entirely on their own.

Considering Izay’s formidable magical firepower and Ais’ exceptional offensive capabilities against monsters, Finn felt confident entrusting one side of the formation to them for defense.
