Holding the wedding photo of herself and Yake, Aierjisi marveled at the wonders of human civilization, pondering how many more intriguing aspects awaited her discovery.

“Let’s call it a day. The sun is setting, so we should head home. Thanks for playing the couple role with me today; you worked hard. You might need to help with it for the next few days, too.”

Yake realized it was getting late, and it was time to go home for dinner. They had spent the entire afternoon with Aierjisi outside. Reina would probably think that he had started dating Little Aier.

“No worries, I actually had a lot of fun pretending! I saw so many interesting things this afternoon with Yake. Make sure to show me even more cool stuff tomorrow!”

“Alright then. Shall I carry you back?”

“Yes! As expected of my servant, you’ll even offer to assist me without me asking. I really made a great choice in picking you as my servant.”

Aierjisi eagerly jumped onto Yake’s back, and he slowly carried her home.

“We’re back! Mmm, it smells so delicious; I wonder what Mom cooked.”

“Yeah, it does smell amazing. It seems like food that’s been cooked.”

As soon as they opened the door, the aroma of food enveloped them. Drawn by the scent, they dashed to the kitchen doorway to see what was cooking.

“Aka, Little Aier, you two are back! Hurry and sit down; I made a lot of tasty dishes to celebrate Yake taking his first step out of single life.”

Seeing them standing at the kitchen door, Reina instructed them to take a seat in the dining room and wait for the food.

“Mom, why don’t I help out?”

“I’ll help too!”

It seemed the cooking wasn’t quite done yet; both Yake and Aierjisi were eager to assist.

“Sorry, but we’ve almost finished dinner. You two should listen to your mom and head to the dining room.”

Xier, who was helping Reina in the kitchen, waved at them to head to the dining room instead of lingering around.

“Okay. Aier, let’s go to the dining room.”

“Okay.”

Since they didn’t need to help anymore, staying in the kitchen would just get in the way. Yake led Aierjisi to the dining room to wait for their meal.

Before long, Reina and Xier brought a variety of delicious dishes to the table. Aierjisi’s eyes shone brightly at the sight of the food, even if she couldn’t name any of it.

“Aier, could you wipe your drool? Don’t let it drip on the table!”

Noticing the drool from the little princess on the table, Yake quickly used his handkerchief to clean it up.

“But just smelling and looking at these makes me feel so hungry. I can hardly hold back!”

“No, hang tight! We can only eat once Mom and Xier sit down. Just hold on a little longer. Besides, didn’t you already have a bunch of couple packages this afternoon?”

As Aierjisi teetered on the brink of losing herself to the tantalizing food, Yake gently held her hands to stop her from diving in too soon.

“Oh my, Little Aier, are you hungry? If so, it wouldn’t hurt to grab your chopsticks early! Here you go. And Yake, if you’re hungry, you don’t have to wait for us; you can start eating!”

Reina noticed Aierjisi and Yake debating about whether to start eating early and handed each of them a pair of chopsticks.

“Well then, I won’t hold back!”

With Reina’s permission, Aierjisi revealed her true nature and bared her fangs at the delicious food.

“Oh, right! Little Aier, can you show me the wedding photos you took with Yake today?”

“Wedding photos? Sure, here you go.”

The little princess, mesmerized by the food, obediently handed over the wedding photos to Reina.

“Wow, Yake looks really dashing! Little Aier is so cute too. Imagine how wonderful it would be if you two got such photos when you actually marry!”

As she gazed at the handsome son with the adorable ‘daughter-in-law’ in the photo, Reina found herself daydreaming about their wedding day.

“Mom, so it was you and Xier tailing me and Aier today, huh?”

When Yake encountered them in the Fallen Area, he suspected that it was his mom and Xier trailing him. Now, that suspicion was confirmed.

“Yep, because you always took the girls you hung out with to weapon shops, how could you have a normal date like this? To prevent you from making the same mistake, Xier and I followed you and Little Aier today. I never expected you to have such a serious date! You not only took part in the Couple Activity at the Coffee Shop but also took wedding photos. I’m really proud of you.”

As she spoke, Reina couldn’t hold back her tears of joy.

“Mom, is it really that serious? I just took Aier out for a normal day of fun.”

Although Yake initially intended to deceive Reina about his purpose and staged the couple act with Aierjisi, it seemed that the outcome exceeded his expectations.

“Brother, you really don’t get it. Mom cares so much about your newfound relationship. Just to put it into perspective—it’s like hitting the jackpot after buying lottery tickets for ages. Let’s eat already, or Little Aier will finish everything!”

Xier placed the last dish on the table, then sat down and started eating, reminding Yake and Reina to hurry up. With Aierjisi around, there would never be leftovers since she would devour everything.

“I’m fine, I’m not hungry. I already ate this afternoon. I’m going to head upstairs to rest.”

Unlike Aierjisi’s bottomless stomach, Yake’s was still digesting the food from earlier. Looking at the dishes, he had no appetite and figured that the little princess would finish it all, so there was no need to worry about leftovers. He decided to go upstairs and rest instead.

“That’s such a pity. I specially made such a feast to celebrate.”

Reina’s sentiment of regret wasn’t just about the delicious food itself; she had added some special powder to the dishes. Though its effect wasn’t as strong as a drug, it would certainly enhance the eater’s fondness for those of the opposite sex nearby. Unbeknownst to Aierjisi, she had already consumed quite a hefty amount of it.
